- Video showing how to access and open the rear hatch on the Ford Edge from the inside. You would need to do this should the latch not function and need access to repair the latch.

Another 8 minute video that should only take 30 seconds, MAX.
You’re the man! I’m at a festival, my battery died and needed to get my hatch open to load up the car before someone came and jumped the Edge! You always come through!! Thank you!
This video could have been about 30 seconds long.
Tried that couldn't find lever so what do I do
I can easily pry off the access cover, locate the lever as you showed in your video, but nothing is happening when I push down on the lever. Trunk lid still won't release. 2013 Lincoln MKX.
I have a 2015 model. It is alot smaller and less room I'm having trouble getting it to release.
Saved my a** Mact! I had to take out my headliner to fix power sunroof and forgot to leave the deck open
Mine does not have that large of a hole and I can’t see any lever to push. Help!
Oh just get to the freaking point!😉😀
If you don't like the video just don't watch it rather than run your mouth and say nasty stuff. Nobody wants to hear you. Go to another channel
I had my back window shatter and glass got into the inside of my rear hatch. The manual release doesn't resolve my issue, do you have any other ideas of how i can open my back hatch?
So my hatch will not open nor will it open from the inside so how can I get my hatch open?
Do you have a video to replace the rear door/hatch actuator motor? Or can you please make one if none yet? Thank you.
My 2014 doesn't have access like this. The door is there, but no latch within reach. What an utterly stupid idea.
I was able to open the liftgate manually using this technique. However, it will not open or close with my key or the push button on the dash. If I push the button with the liftgate open, I get a chime and the message "Life Gate Ajar." If I push the button with the liftgate closed, I get nothing. Any ideas? Is there a fuse or reset connected to the gate?
Nevermind. Fixed it. Pulled the fuse tied to the liftgate. It wasn't blown but as soon as I put the fuse back in it started working again. Still, your video was helpful at first!
will this work if the battery is dead?
yes
Thanks! We got it to work!
Sr.. any idea for odyssey 1998 without square panel from inside? !! Please thank you so much!! Anyone able to help me thank you all
Not on a 2015 titanium
Hey guys, what about the power version. It's only a small hole to push the button. But it does nothing. If there a secret?
