@@brooklily7150I haven't heard that idiom in a very long time, and it was great to hear it in today's world. Brook - it's actually "cooler heads prevail". I looked it up just to be sure and it's origin was as follows (thought it was interesting): It goes back to the early days of auto racing, when water-cooled engines were just getting traction. It was discovered that the engines that managed to not overheat their heads usually won the races. Hence "cooler heads prevail"
5th Generation Floridian and I will always love this way of life spending most of our time outdoors either on land or water! I've been a lot of places but nothing is better then growing up in Florida!

Great video I own property here. The biggest thing to remember in communities like this is these people are property owners. You can have access to this property by buying land there and other communities that are similar. If you're a guest in these communities the biggest thing to remember is there's tons of areas to play and you don't need to tear up the main trails or other people's properties. It's an amazing place with amazing people
So as someone who is moving to FL as I cannot stand MN winters any longer. How do I come down and help preserve what is left? I too am hard core country and that is a major reservation for my FL move. As I know a lot of FL has turned to city.

That was the original draw...land. European aristocrats had literally acquired all the land and basically controlled everything and everyone. That's the true reason people saved money, left their families and died trying to make it here.

MSM wants all races to kill eachother so that we don't unite and go after the corrupt elites. Nothing new here. Same old tactic.

This is an amazing example of how to live well....love, respect, family and Faith! Amazing group of people!

I’m from Montana, but I understand these people well. It’s about family, being away from the crazy and raising your kids with value and hard work. They live life in a different version, but similarly to how we do here in Montana. Preciate y’all!
Montana is God’s country, most glorious place I’ve been in the U.S.
Yep, Peter nailed it it again. He found a true slice of Central Florida. But that’s just one slice.
I’m from central Florida and this is the lifestyle!!
Peter, you have one of the most unique channels. I love it! I want to thank you. How you approach everything and everyone is awesome. You have really open my mind to many cultures and ways of living.
Thank you!
It's an amazing place with amazing people
Where can I buy some land here?
Uninterested in the follow up on property ownership
These property owners are like pilots. They love to say the own property there. LMAO congrats bud, you own some land.
So as someone who is moving to FL as I cannot stand MN winters any longer. How do I come down and help preserve what is left? I too am hard core country and that is a major reservation for my FL move. As I know a lot of FL has turned to city.
@@AmericaProud not even close lol only the the outer rim of Florida is cities. Research closer inland
It's nice to see people coming together, having fun, and living life the way they love. Sounds like freedom for these folks. Chris and Commodity, are both nice and smart fellas. I hope that this community is able to keep this lifestyle they love. It does seem like a lot of fun and they all seem very happy, relaxed and generous.
We love your videos! You are a talented dude. You make the people relax and carry the conversations so well - I love your curiosity with life and people.
I'm not even from Florida, but I have lived there and experienced stuff like this. I'm so glad you're showing the world this.
I lived in Deltona from 95 to 07. We used to do exactly this in Osteen every weekend with some guys I worked with. So much fun to lose yourself in the woods for a few days. Miss that place.
Prayers for your back from a stranger in Charleston WV! I got a fracture in L5. some days are worst than others but I'm going... 5 kids & a beautiful wife keep me busy. Much love and respect 🙏 ❤ enjoyed every second!

Florida girl here, born and raised. This was such a powerful story to watch. I laughed, cried and smiled throughout. Thank you for showing some of the true Florida. "where God guides, he provides" indeed
blah blah blah. I know people who participate in this ignorant 'lifestyle'. All they do is get drunk, do drugs and tear up the land. They're idiots.
Glad you had a good time out at Holopaw; a place that is very unique and a lot of fun, most of my friends and family have owned property out there for decades, I have come across some asshats but 99% of the people are fun and willing to help if you ask.
What you said at end about America was incredible. It's something we all know but aren't told often
It‘s something people are afraid of talking about nowadays.

I'm from Florida. Born and raised. I love the hidden dirt roads, it's like a whole other world out there. I once saw a side by side vehicle with wheels raised up about 4-6 feet tall. That's when you know you've hit the heart of this great state. Hope you enjoyed it as much as we do.
This channel just shows us all that no matter where you go there are good people.
Suburban Estates... Damn, the Central Florida proving grounds haha. This took me back to my childhood years goofing off out there with my old man and family friends. Thanks for the great vid Pete, you always deliver!!
They do this at the southeast tip of the state twice as big, ha.
@Sir Derty man I see you on just about all the videos I watch. At this point I think we must be friends.
Great video, Peter! This is REAL Florida, & the folks in these types of communities are genuine & real. I don’t live far from this place, & I was reminded of what a good old boy named Bubba said to me many many years ago. He said, “You ain’t American if you don’t know where Holopaw is!” Seems Bubba’s words still ring true. Looking forward to more videos, & I hope your back gets better soon.

Yup, I live in NC and we do the same.
Yep, I have lived here in the panhandle my whole life and I would have thought this video were filmed here had I not been told it was in Central Florida beforehand.
Yessir I grew up just like this, airboats, dirt bikes, four wheelers in the woods 🤘🏼

I love Florida, been raised here most of my life and I really hope the vibe doesn’t change with the influx of northerners and Californians moving in. It’s all love, but don’t change Florida for the worse please!!
It’s happening already locally unfortunately. Soon it will reach districts. Then the state as a whole. 😓

Not Northerners... Just Californians... You ever been to Pennsyltucky? Pretty much the same vibes as this right here...
Californians have ruined Colorado with the biggest one being the governor!!!
@Gheywrld You've obviously never been there or haven't looked hard enough... Mud bogs, big trucks, quads, and beer...
They will come, and ruin everything just like they do everywhere's else. This comes from a right-kinda former Californian almost 20 years since I left that shit-hole

That was the original draw...land. European aristocrats had literally acquired all the land and basically controlled everything and everyone. That's the true reason people saved money, left their families and died trying to make it here.

Actually you are correct and shouldn't of said this as what you said is true to the Flood in Genesis. Thank you!
