@@Boomy2nicce still mounts into the helmet exactly the same way. You are bolting the Arc rails onto the helmet via the same holes that you screw the chin strap into.
The Protech PT Bravo Half Shells have a 1913 Picatinny rail that screws into the side of the helmet. This would allow you to mount any light that comes with a Picatinny rail mount to them. I have seen ARC rails added to the PT Bravo as well but this would necessitate drilling new mounting holes onto the PT Bravo and bolting the ARC rails to it. I will whole heartedly admit the ones I have seen loom absolutely FIRE and I have been very tempted to source a PT Bravo and do this just for GP.
Will these fit on the older mich helmets I bought one that I'm almost sure is real from an antique store. Also anyway to confirm its real (military standard). Its the older type with the fome disk padding and the chin strap only connects to one point on each side of the helmet
If the helmet doesn't have the four screws connections it wouldn't work. But if it is a real MICH 2000 it should work. The screw pattern on the MICH and ACH is similar if memory serves if not identical.
@@Muddy_Reviews Never seen an ACH with any other type of set-up. If it doesn't have the four way harness and full pads then it's not a real ACH much less MICH.
Are these worth adding on ACH helmet I'm thinking on getting set for my gentex ACH and a new h nape from ops core I ordered 4d pads I have ACH arc rails made by ops core I bought from hcc tactical and a ops core VAS shroud, I bought 4d pads and I have ACH improved headlock h nape from ops core as well, what is the point of arc rails on a ACH helmet, I get the idea for high cut helmet. It is the exact same as with a high cut, mounting lights, and the like except comms. I like them well enough, and they made adding a light considerably easier.
Not sure what you are asking what comes in ABU. There is a Helmet cover for the ACH helmet that comes in the ABU pattern called the Ops-Core ENVG helmet cover that has ARC rails attached to it. www.ebay.com/itm/224375440586

Mine has a screw in the front spot and right where the rail starts to curve could i make a screw hole in the rail to fit it. Also how thick is your real helmet.
I honestly wouldn't recommend it, you would ruin the rails and they wouldn't be good for what you want them for. As for helmet thickness I will have to measure that tomorrow.
For lights and other rail accessories. You aren't going to to be putting your comms on these like an Ops-Core or other high cut of course because of the low ear.
@@Muddy_Reviews NOPE. The old version of arc rail can't fit on a XL ACH. The side hole of the helmet is too far from rach other for arc rail to install.

Seems superfluous. I don't see how a rail mounted headset will interface correctly. Just rock a headset early 2000s style. I don't like high cut helmets personally. Had my ACH stop shrapnel from entering my head because of the protection over the ear in Iraq.
@Muddy_Reviews Those rails though.... We had lights that just clipped onto our helmets by pressure and those rails are more for comms. I guess if you want bigger/bulkier lights then you certainly can add those. To me it seems like adding a quad rail to your firearm but only adding a grip and a light. Another thing though is I guess you could mount a camera or something!
That's what I forgot! Cameras is another item I forgot. I used the Surefire MICH lights and they were great. I can say though the rails did give you ability to run a larger variation of lights and cameras.
The screws for the rails fit in the holes intended for the chin strap?
On this ACH? Yup that is exactly his they mount.

Yup, you just need to install the cover first and then put a small.hile for the screws in the cover.
will it work with the MICH 2001?
I don't know for certain, but if the screw pattern is the same I would think so.
Will they fit on a pasgt helmet?
If the acres holes match up it is possible but I wouldn't count on it.
Can you try a XL ACH? THX
Don't have an XL to try it on otherwise I would love to. I would think they will work as they package specifically says for all ACH sizes.

The helmet is the true USGI ACH. The arc rail is also true ops-core product, definitely not a replica.
