Laylax Airsoft High Bullet Speed Loader Plus, review
Hey everybody welcome back to another episode of Muddy Reviews, in this video we are checking out the Laylax Airsoft High Bullet Speed Loader Plus, this is a newer version of the Laylax Speedloader I have already reviewed on the channel. If you are a D14 Airsoft player you can find these at the Bunker field store. If you are not local to the D14 area you can also find these on the EVIKE Website here:
www.evike.com/products/24305/
Overall, I thought this was a nice, outside-the-box concept for a speed loader. I would have liked to have seen some sort of way to close the top if you didn't want a bottle up there, though. As always, folks, get out there and play some Airsoft, LARP smarter, not harder, and above all else, take care.

The fine gents over at the Bunker @D14Airsoft allowed me to check this out and review it. I liked this Code11 and thought it was on par with the Krydex in most areas except for the stitch color. Elite Force AKX Eyetrace Airsoft gun, review
Seems superfluous. I don't see how a rail mounted headset will interface correctly. Just rock a headset early 2000s style. I don't like high cut helmets personally. Had my ACH stop shrapnel from entering my head because of the protection over the ear in Iraq.
The rails are meant for lights and the like, rails on an ACH / MICH 2000 aren't meant for comms. Their is something to be said for low ear helmets.
@Muddy_Reviews Those rails though.... We had lights that just clipped onto our helmets by pressure and those rails are more for comms. I guess if you want bigger/bulkier lights then you certainly can add those. To me it seems like adding a quad rail to your firearm but only adding a grip and a light. Another thing though is I guess you could mount a camera or something!
It’s a great loader
It really is.
That's pretty cool. You could have it attached to the bottle and have the bottle in a bottle pouch on the field.
Yeah you could, it is an interesting loader, I like the bottle expansion concept and the additional capacity. It doesn't require special attachments to work like an ODIN M12 and it will load Gas magazines.
That is one nice unit. Love the effects. Would be great on my rpk since i run lighter weight bb's in it. What is the approximate runtime? Cost?
The battery seems to last a few days on heavy use between charges. Right now at the US link I provided in the description they are on sale for 150 USD.
@ that’s really not a bad price for what it does. The battery life is phenomenal to last like that. A full weekend of heavy use without the worry of recharge(other than keeping the vape juice filled) is a major plus.
It's a fabric envelope pouch. Shouldn't cost 100
You are paying for American labor, and buying American usually means more $. Also, there is a little more to it you have the cable pull and material. Multicam 500D Cordura fabric is around 23-27$ dollars a yard, then you have the cost of the wire pull which I am sure is a custom piece, the price of the elastic and hook and loop, bonded nylon thread, etc. The raw cost of a lot of kit isn't cheap it is actually fairly costly and most small sewers do not make a lot of money off a product and outside of government contracts neither do most tactical gear manufacturers.
Do these have dynamic audio? Does it have directional amplification? Thanks,
No to both questions, these are just BBwar toys honestly. The only set I have that remotely comes close to higher dollar ear pro with similar features is the FMA AMPS I recently reviewed.
Hey there, I know this has nothing to do with the pouches in your review but I'm looking to do an artic/ white airsoft kit just curious if you had any pointers Thank you in advanced!
It's also really smart to run them upside down I hadn't thought about that
Thanks, it works pretty well.
Howdy, for an arctic kit, you have some options. Multicam Alpine is a great option as there is quite a decent amount of kit and uniform options. There are overwhites available, and you can get chest rigs and pouches in alpine. For your BB gat, you can use white tape to add some disruption to the shape. The other option would be to use flat spray paint like the NFM paints and paint your gat like the Norwegian 416s. Hope this helps and answered your question.
@@Muddy_Reviews Thank you for the tips I will look into those appreciate it!
Hi, current sizes of this jacket?
Large Reg
Where did yall buy this piece from ? I found this on airsoft mania eu but idk if its a trustworthy seller
Any idea if the Ferro 12x5 GP pouch would fit a 68/4500 or a 77/4500 tank?
@c.w.s9569 I don't. The pockets are decent sized but not too big. Would have to have the tanks to check, honestly.
Man I just got in the mini taps from them not that long ago I’m loving it so far their such an underrated company imo
@misfitlife3091 they absolutely are, I am looking at their lowvis chest rig.
Hi man, I was wondering, the goggles have a thermal lens but won't the inserts get foggy ? or maybe they are protected too ?
@@gabrielg9941 That will all depend on the lenses you get put into the inserts.
This video completely flew under my radar, I'm catching it RN, so cool that you bought the pouch like that 😂😂 such a cool story behind it. I've always been curious about it as it seemed so simple, I've always been a fan of the OR pouch as it was insulated but never got around getting one. Great video as always brother
@101airbornea thanks dude, I love this pouch, I am running it on my Ferro Chesty large for simple pick up days. I have some mags, radio, and a bottle of water.
arent zippers on the back shorter for reproduction one? The real ones seem longer and might be an issue when trying to fit non-repro stuff into it?
@Ph03n1xz I didn't notice a difference and I put real Ferro back panels on it as well as repro backpanels on my real Ferro and they were both GTG.
Dang the one on the kit is dope with the pull down tab.
@@SuperboySauce yeah the older SORD pouch is pretty fantastic.
good looking pouch
@@devimapie it isn't too bad.
Been needing one of these for a while!
@@justinwilburn688 I hope they are as good as advertised.
Do you know if it fits hpa tank?
@@elekbalazs88 it should fit a small HPA tank, yes.
@@Muddy_Reviews small like 0.2 or 0.8?
@elekbalazs88 a 48ci should fit
@@Muddy_Reviews thanks mate!
Thank you, I’ve been looking for something like this
@Gator_needs_his_gat you are welcome, these are awesome pieces of kit.
Damn there 400 on there website that seems steep
@Kentuckyfrieddish That's going to be Australian dollars, not US dollars.
I personally love these side entry adapters. I've tried tubes, buckles, cobra buckles and hated all of them. I disliked how all of those quick detach cummerbund would take up alot of space and push pouches further to the side to allow the qd systems to work. This allows you to add a pouch, keep it close and snug to the front placard, and still allows you to remove the cummerbund without removing the placard all the time.
@Justwannabetactical I can see that, I have found the AXL Equinox structural cummerbund and their Orbital skins to give me a similar effect as you mention here on my AVS while still using First Spear tubes.
is a plastic water bottle able to fit in the pouch?
a standard bottle of water should have the ability to ride in there.
@@Muddy_Reviews very happy to know, thank you so much
This will be great for the Texas Weather.
Ohh 100 percent. I need to buy my own soon.
Great how he shows the red laser and white light working in light and dark conditions.
@hestonpfheffer1299 Glad you liked it, I try to show everything in a manner that you would want to see it. Thanks for the comment and watch!
Is this sarcasm?
Hey, i have a question. I used american assault pack previously and that waterproof rubberized part of backpack was sticky and left ugly stains on plastic bottles or metal stuff. Is it happening in this backpack as well? Is this rubberized part that awful as well? Thanks!
@ukaszk.6590 not too much, that PU coating can degrade over time and get nasty. I try and scrub it off when that begins and also use dry bags as a sort of pack liner.
Just buyed the exact replica from idogear i hope p mags will fit and does sit perfect on the platebag
@dorukr it should sit on the plate bag fine, the PMAGS might be an issue. They are a little snug in the real one from Crye.
Thank you for your support and evaluation
You are welcome! Thanks for checking out the video and leaving a comment. I would love to check out more stuff from you guys.
@@Muddy_Reviews We have developed more excellent products, but they cannot be sold all over the world due to many reasons. Recently, we have launched the more perfect FCS FE40 and FCS ANT PTT full-duplex communication headset and controller.
Thank you it was helpful to my situation well and you explained what question i had in my mind . Good luck with your channel. Thanks From very far away continent
@@denizA76 I am really happy to hear this review helped you! I appreciate the kind words and appreciate you checking out the channel. I hope you return and enjoy more content.
Btw, FMA/FCS have also released their own semi-orginal ear pro called the falcon ears. Comes as both a regular and pro version. Btw, the stock pads regular foam pads, the upgraded gel pads are even better and 100% worth it
@han6211 I thought they felt like normal pads, but my info said they were gel. I have not seen their Falcon Ears, but I will have to check those out now. Thanks for the comment and info.
Thank you for the video. I just saw one of these recently and wanted to know more info about them. The only thing i'm curious about and it might be a dumb question but do you have to take your scope off to put that on? It's just i'd hate to have to rezero just to add that but of course i would. Lol
@docjamesjdjd you are welcome, you can easily install it onto the scope while it is on the weapon.
I'm just trying to nail down, between eBay & Amazon, which of their models will be able to use an 18650. Most of the actual listings for the 600df say they won't, but then how are they dual fuel. Haha
The M952V repro I have seen on Amazon look nice, as for them being dual fuel capable, I can't speak on it. I have seen some of the newer versions being created with dual switches now.
How is this charging handle knob working today?
It is good, I have a few others that have given me issues though LOL but this one has been solid.
Great video, could you let me know the size of the hardware that you used? The ones that come with the tek lok are to small
I used the standard Safariland hardware, it is around 8-32 and about 3/4" in length.
Yo that’s epic
It really is, I love good finds like that, but they are getting fewer and farther between
Can u try this dope panel on jpc please
Already have. The dope works nicely on my sons JPC 2.0.
@ then my question is should i get closed top avs mag pouch or ferro dope both will be knockoff
It honestly depends on if you want a slick profile of more carry ability. If you wanted to go slim lower profile three cell AVS I would highly recommend checking out the Unobtanium Gear AVS SLEDS front flap. Mind you the AVS flapped three cell is nice as well as the Elastic open top from Crye. But something I liked about the UG is theirs has additional lids that can be added to the rig and you can run it with 2 lids and one open. The DOPE flap is nice as it gives you the three mags as well as the ability to have a large GP space, or even a smaller GP space and the addition of 2 pistol mags inserted. I have been running my DOPE flap with the half pocket and double elastic pistol insert with the elastic Ferro triple and its pretty nice.
@@Muddy_Reviews yeah ur right i would love a unobtanium gear sleds placard but in my country i cant just bought the idogear crye style closed top hope it will look good and work good
Great video
Appreciate you watching.
Have you had any experience with the Earmor M32s?
I don't, a few guys at my local field run them but I haven't picked any up.
they are a good budget headset but the looks are not it for me atleast
Build quality is lack luster with horrible audio quality, they're incredibly finicky with comms too. Avoid and buy some Howard heights and run a shoulder mic for comms.
Thats a good option as well.
I personally hate the look of the Earmor headsets but if you want to do a COD 2019 or MW2 / 3 kit they are on the money LOL. Some of the shit those character design artists use just baffles me.
Can we connect a Peltor M3 headset, and if yes, what connector? For proper English syntax and grammar, you could phrase it as: "Can a Peltor M3 headset be connected, and if so, what connector is needed?"
It will all depend on whether or not the headset has a V60 downlead or NATO sinf pin downlead and if it it MIL wired or CIV wired.
the wife comment was great, thanks for the review
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it, and I appreciate you checking out the review and the channel.
Ive been running these too for a little bit as my mains now since I run a boonie more than a helmet. I also have the Tac Sky version too that stay on my helmet. These have a higher volume threshold than the tac skys but the tac skys are a better build quality imo. I like them both the same though.
I haven't put my TACSKY Comtac IIIs side by side with these I will have to check and see if mine feel better than these.
@@Muddy_Reviews I got the Tac Sky AMPS! They feel more solid. But volume doesnt go as high.
@@postal5342 how's the audio quality between the two? The newest version of the tac sky AMPs even have functioning NFMI, might help with the low volume.
@@han6211 Really good! I honestly think better than the FCS's
Well I guess I am getting a set of the TACSKY Amps to test now LOL.
Is it compatible with Earmor M32 headphones?
If the Earmore headset is MIL spec wired then yes.
Do you have ghosting and double reticle on it ?
Only issue we have had with the reticle at all so far is it can be a little dim in heavy sunlight.
@@Muddy_Reviews okay well I purchased one and the one I received double reticle sometimes triple all over laying each other. Pretty bad and seller said oh that's how it's supposed to be right !!!
@mayhemmiller4989 wow, that's terrible.
Does it ever fall out the top? Or get yanked out or smth?
I couldn't say, I don't run HPA.
Does it come with a pin?
Mine came with everything needed for install.
@Muddy_Reviews I'm planning to order one from Evike for my AT-AK01. I was afraid it does not come with a pin. Thanks.
So I actually just had to get one of these from EVIKE 2 days ago as my sons Arcturus he got for his b-day had a faulty top cover. The Arcturus replacement top cover came with the pin and c clamp so it is a straight drop in component.
@@Muddy_Reviews That's sweet. Thank you!
@jagerov you are welcome.
I watch a lot of your reviews. I think you review things in a better more relatable manner so all users can get some info that will hbe helpful to them. I haven't watched this yet but I was going to get this one but they had a 1-6 SPF Landon that came with their 45 red dot that sits under the tail of lpvo. im so impressed with it and since I'm not allowed to process firearms anymore I started training with airsoft. I was looking for my first lpvo. I've been using red dots and 3x mags for years and I hate them. for a hundred dollar with the free red dot mount. im am familiar with real steel as my brother is a pre '86 collector and a police Lt. father retired Balto city homicide so I've used very nice very expensive optics but for my toy guns a 100 dollar is my cut off. I will not spend over a bill for a single upgrade or accessory but I might but 30 accessories, lol. I seem to be more in-tune with a second focal plane as to a single I tested them side by side and my eye was much more comfortable with a 2 focal planes, the 2 planes make it easier for my eye to follow the reticle when the tne optic.shakes under toy recoil which is awesome. a red dot is hard to keep on target even with my toy noveskes recoil . the adjustments are very tactile clicks the zoom is smooth and requires a definative action which I like it will not vibrate off its setting. I got a geissele automatics mount clone which is nice but the one that came with it would have worked fine. the gbbr I'm using it on also just mimicks some lines and it looks so dang good. now the banshee is the next model above my Landon 1-6 SPF so can wait to see what you think. there is NO other $100 optic that is this clear for its glass or works as well except maybe the model you test here today. I think you cant go wrong for a toy gun now a real ar is not what you'd want for these optics so as long as people understand these aren't something you would want to use in a life or death encounter but professional scenarios. real steel you evaluate what your breathing and living is worth to you then shop in that price range. great channel muddy!!! cheers
Thank you for the kind words and awesome comment. I am really glad you have been enjoying the reviews. I appreciate the views and support. You are absolutely correct. These don't feel like an LPVO you want for a life and death confrontation but are solid for BBwars.
@@Muddy_Reviews 100% agreed
Esstac kywis are tried and true! I run a pistol and rifle one on my DM mech belt they been solid. Although the retention on them come stupid tight (opposite of the shitty repros) and I had to use a heat gun to loosen it lol.
They really are solid pouches, I want to get an ESSTAC chest rig.
am i able to put this on the action union helmet?
Theoretically yes, but not sue with you would want to.
That arcturus 105 looks mad sick! Which handguard is that? I've seen it around but i cant find it🥲
Stock MLOk handguard for the Arcturus AK01. It's really nice and looks slick.

@TheRavenSniper Glad you liked it and you got something out of this, thanks for watching and commenting.
Boom always with good info. Didn't know i needed a killflash
It will be a good addition to the LPVO and will protect it from BB strikes and shine.
