- We've camped in Mammoth Lakes before. I thought it would be a great trip but this time it's with the Cybertruck. But the odds were not in our favor and this trip was super stressful.

Fellow Korean here who is way into Tesla as well! The lettuce is called Ssam, the sauce is called Ssam-Jjang, and the pepper is called Ggochu. This leaf is perilla leaf. Put together with grilled meat, it’s called “AMAZING”. Keep up with the fantastic content!!!
My dog has metastatic cancer too, sad, but making sure they enjoy everything they can as often as possible is the way to do it right.
In the 90s I did some car camping in the back of a Pathfinder near Bishop The view when you wake up is always amazing, no matter how cold it is. Check out the hot springs nearby if you haven't!
Ouch, bummer re all the setbacks, sometimes when it rains, it pours... glad just wind not rain, literally! Convict Lake is gorgeous, glad you saw some snow on the hills. Glad you got the doggos & family out there, hope next trip is stress & issue free! Check out Alabama Hills next time 395, gorgeous rocks & views, BLM dispersed camping... supercharger right next door @ Lone Pine (and, make sure to check out the Western Movie Museum, small awesome museum of all the movies esp Westerns filmed there over decades- some scifi too!) Hope Death Valley gets their level2 chargers sorted out, kind of difficult for EVs now w/ only 4 partially working.

A korean here. Love your videos! The first leaves are sangchu(lettuce) and the second ones are ketnip (perilla or sesame leaves)
Im not Korean but you need to use perilla leaves, at least that's how our Korean friends serves it. With lettuce it's called Ssambap.
You should buy ssamjang instead of cho-gochujang. To make a proper ssam, you need lettuce, perilla leaves, meat, roasted garlic, and ssamjang all together in one bite. Typically, expensive wagyu beef is eaten with just a bit of wasabi on top. Ssam is usually enjoyed with grilled pork belly or pork shoulder. Just for your reference.

Watching U2 working that hand pump reminded me of all the hype from Tesla over the years, and the reasons why I didn't go through with my Cybertruck reservation. Remember Elon said there would be an air compressor, climate controlled bed (which implied a pass-through), a built in ramp for the tailgate, or how about sail storage, lets not forget 3mm stainless. I looked over a parked Cybertruck yesterday and man that THIN stainless is dangerous. Especially with edges all over the truck protruding. If it had been 3mm that wouldn't have been a problem. I'm a retired sheet metal worker, and all of those protruding edges need to have a hem. That's crazy having thin raw edges all over the outside of the truck. They're an accident waiting to happen.

i'm korean, the chillie is 풋고추" put gochoo" the letttuce is 상추 sang-chu. the leaf is 깻잎 "catnip"best way to eat meat!! the sangchu wrap!! thanks for cool videos!

Goldens are the BEST. Enjoy all the minutes and thank you for sharing..being an early adopter is difficult for some to understand but each adventure teaches. Enjoy the CT! I had a Rivian + Skykamper and while easy and 4 season, there were lots of times I wanted to go for a drive after tent setup..going forward I’m good with am EV truck but will skip connected tent concept.
I think the lettuce and shiso setup is a SSAM Korean wrap thing? I’m not Korean, but we get that at KBBQ sometimes. I appreciate you taking your dogs out. I do the same. We camp and hike. Our dogs are our best friends for a short time. We are our dogs best friends for their lifetime. ❤

Stopped for tint on 395? Well welcome to the club. Every time i drove that i'd get stopped,plus the same chippy would get me up and back,now it's the 5 for fast or 101/1 for scenery,Too bad to,as i like to stop for bread
Same here 395 has a few a-hole highway patrol officers, I had to fight off mine in court, always go to trial and make the date of trial a camping trip that what I did and winning my case made it even better.

It’s weird that the front doors are always a totally different finish than the rest of the truck. They really need to improve the consistency of the finishing process

It's funny how camping has turned into just cooking away from home.
I think cyber tent is cool! If you move slowly in the direction of pushing and pulling the pump, you can put air inside the tent more easily and quickly. Also, I could stay well all night in the heavy rain.

Is there space for one person to sleep in the back of the cybertruck with the rear bench folded up? At least one person would be able to enjoy AC/heat with camping mode. Really wish Tesla would make a CyberVan to really make an amazing camping experience! What makes camping with an EV so unique is the ability to use AC/heat without the engine idling like an ice vehicle. 🎉

It might be worth asking Tesla again on the aero flap retrofit kit. Mine came with it, and in my bag is a 4x3x1 box labeled "hardware retrofit kit 1 set" that contains the old hardware that was presumably removed from my CT: aero flap brackets, screws and the rest/grip thing that the flap sits on. It's a tiny amount of hardware (less than 1/2 pound incl box) and it looks like it's a small parts swap, not something unique to the new version. I bought those thumb screws from amazon in anticipation of getting the tent, but it turns out I don't need them. Aero flap goes on/off in

the name of that leaf is "Sang-chu" and another one (Perilla Leaf) is called "Kkaen-ip". seems you choosed Cho-go-chu-jang it usually recommended with raw fish. "Saam-jang" is better choice with meat I think :)

Most Stressful Camping Ever! = Funny Story at next Camping Trip
Right so camping in the CT leaves more to be desired, namely:
1. No climate control from the cabin
2. The Tesla tent should have a rigid side/roof (and possibly a solar panel option) to negate high wind/rain
I currently have a Model YLR (recently completed a 2,600mi. road trip from CA ro TX and back) .Outfitted with the Lost Horizon mattress and the Acopower sub trunk fridge, camping/sleeping inside the car was a breeze.
I have a CT reservation, yet seeing it have less comfort and convenience than the Y is dissapointing.
Hopefully the aftermarket steps in somehow to close the gap 🤔.
