This is a pretty big job but you can do it! Be sure to get come preservative cavity or body wax for the inside of the rockers. They trap so much in there and quickly rust out again. Thanks for watching! - Darren

nice job chaps ,did fiat tc engine swap years ago well worth it used fiat 131 parts engine box and front half of driveshaft. bolted to rear half of lada shaft.

am enjoying your videos..hope your subs grow..you deserve them..ok..what is an Ivan? and are you guys trained by Tech school? you have a good grasp of metals..tools and materials and methods...if you can just elaborate on a few of these i would appreciate it..thanks...

Thanks rickrocker! I will answer one of your questions here: An "Ivan" is what we have decided to name this car. The previous Lada Shawn had was a Niva which can be scrambled up to become "Ivan" which is a Russian name. It serves as a tribute to the departed Niva, and the Russian heritage of the car, the 2104 part comes of course from the model number, the Signet wagon (Lada 2104) so we merged the two to name the car Ivan2104! Now the other question we will save for an upcoming video where we will discuss a little bit about our grassroots mechanical backgrounds. Thanks again! - Darren
