    Currently using an open hearing aid. And I love it! I have mild to medium hearing loss in my left ear with tinnitus. It really does a great job of masking my tinnitus. It has Bluetooth too so I can listen to sounds, music, answer my phone and even watch UA-cam videos like I'm doing now! Lol

    I have hearing loss and tinnitus 24/7 both ears and for 30 plus years now. I got hearing aids at age 47 when the tinnitus got worse. The tinnitus improved with the hearing aids. Thanks for your talk. I bought the Zen Widex hearing aids and like them. They are expensive.

    My son suffers for Tinnitus pretty bad in his right ear. We are on the way to trying hearing aids. We had to jump through a lot of hoops to get it done. He can't stand a normal hearing test as it brings on his tinnitus and he completely breaks down. So, we had to do a surgery type deal where they put him to sleep to do a hearing test called an sedated ABR (automated brain response). So it's been a long journey, and I am praying once we get the hearing aids, they work for him. Thanks for your videos.

      I'm sorry to hear about your son's struggle with tinnitus, but it's commendable how you're navigating through various options to find relief for him. The journey you've been on sounds challenging, but your dedication to finding solutions is inspiring. I hope the hearing aids bring him the comfort and relief he deserves, and thank you for your kind words about our videos. Wishing you and your son all the best on this journey! 🙏

    I remember the ringing on and off rarely in my ear since about 5, I also have APD, but I didn't know hearing aids were an option, so thank you for the information. I need relief from the ringing its been a nonstop high pitch frequency for like 3 weeks. 😂 Not really conducive to everyday life.

    Brilliant, described my 35 year tinnitus exactly. I tried the app and found I had hearing loss in the higher frequencies I will look into getting a hearing aid based on your presentation. You confirmed what I had previously though, you can't cure tinnitus but I feel using a hearing aid will help mask the sounds I hear in my head. . Many thanks.

      @treblehealth  Місяць тому

      I'm glad to hear that you found the video helpful and that you're considering using a hearing aid to help manage your tinnitus. While tinnitus may not have a cure, using hearing aids can indeed help by providing sound enrichment that can mask the tinnitus sounds and improve overall hearing.

      Tinnitus Retraining Therapy combined with ear level sound generators (also called masking devices) can help provide relief regardless of the sound your hear and/or frequency of tinnitus. If you don’t have any hearing loss, a basic pair of hearing aid aids could be used for tinnitus masking purposes OR a pair of ear-level sound generators, like the devices we currently offer via Treble Health.

    I have high pitch hearing loss with tinnitus. I unfortunately suffer from hypercausis as well. Are there any options that just allow for the pitches that your missing to be amplified with some noise reducing ear canal attachments?
