When I bought my 2015 it came with a skunk2 76 mm. I tried everything but couldn’t get rid of a vibration/rattle. Did the torque solutions hangers and still had the vibration. I went to an invidia n1 70mm with a hasport rear mount and bam all gone. I actually like the tone I get from the invidia. I have the skunk2 on my 8th gen and it’s incredible. This video helped me make my decision to switch
I love my invidia exhaust doesnt sound like the fart cannons out there and i always get asked why does it sound so good all i have done is a aem intake and invidia exhaust

Yeah man these 2.4 sound great there my favorite civic for sure. The skunk 2 just a tad louder I wish I was able to get a driving video cause when it hits vtec the sound changes dramatically sounds very clean. Thanks for the comment my friend
I agree ! A lot of people comment saying one is better than the other and they sound like 95% the same to me. I mean really it is the same type metal hole with the same size resonator just a little bigger diameter on the pipe. I do think my skunk 2 is 10% louder but tone its the same.

I wouldn't say the smaller size was deeper because the pure volume of the skunk 2 didn't sound less deep to me but the invidia sounded tighter in the same tone with less volume. I'd personally pick the skunk just cause it sounds pretty good all around,deff for the I drive a racecar vibe I like. But my opinion is not for everyone so it's nice to see you say what you think. 🙂
yea I like both of them! I prefer my skunk just cause its louder but besides pipe size pretty much identical. sadly in these videos you cant hear what the car sounds like when you are getting on it best sounding 4 banger motor I have ever owned .
He did not put any of the parts on his car, so he doesn't know for sure what he had. Just a invidia logo and a off memory that he measured it and it was 70. Sorry its not the best results, if we had a 76mm we would of done them both 76.
The skunk 2 is the cat back and yes it should bolt right up to your factory exhaust. If you have any more questions I'll write you a book on anything you want to know :)

@@g.tobias761 naaa as long as you don't change to much the car has slight parameter adjustment built into it.that's why they say you need a tune for major modifications but catback should be fine
So i was going to get a skunk2 but was told they sound too pricey, so instead thinking of a full race. Is the skunk2 ricey in person? should I go with the full race? i want to be loud but sound nice and not ricey

If you live in Cali.. just don’t get caught with a skunk2 exhaust by pigs.. they’ll give you a $1k ticket and they’ll probably tell you to go back to stock or else you get ref😭🤷🏻♂️

@@xdefiant7452 I did notice when the guy took the car on the right he pushed it a lot harder. The guy on the left kind of just drove it slow and steady. Just look how hard he had to break before making the turn vs How slow he went with the first car.
I did light gas I just went past 5k he stopped at 5k rpm. They sound like 90% the same the skunk is very much louder at idle and 15% louder at wide open throttle because of the bigger pipe. the choice is loud and proud or not stock but not crazy loud ether. If he would rang it past 5k it makes that sound that the skunk makes after 5k that you hear in the video. I am not afraid to play chicken with non moving cars and let the rpm raise. I did probs 30 to 40% throttle no idea with him but he was nervous could of been less. His car was backed out of the spot on the left I had to drive mine on the street to get up there so mine was drove farther but tested last with 10 to 20 mins from when we recorded his first. the skunk with the bigger pipe is louder no question.
It's good for sure this phone camera didn't do it justice. I have the skunk and it's my fav but its true definition at look at me at all times. Invidia sounds lower in decibles but has almost the exact sound and can be loud when you get on it. Both sound similar to me. pipes are couple inches smaller or bigger but at the end of the day a metal tube will sound like a metal tube. I live in Florida so I don't know of any sound laws. But if you think that is loud I got a HCI Foxbody with no cats, and no tail pipes, flowmaster 40s dumps before the axel, never had anybody pull me over for sound. Did make a person sell there house tho said it shook there windows lol :)

I think that’s the main difference, Invidia is more of quieter exhaust all around until you slam on the gas pedal. It has that deep sound.

3 inch catbacks sound way better and perform better. That’s why I went with Invidia’s q300
