The fact you caught the mouth acting was brilliant, man. Too many people fail to do this when acting. And it's very, very noticeable. As crazy as they are, Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson are both great at acting with their mouths and brows. Pattinson is great as well.
PLEASE do not include those two with the rest of us crazies. Narcissists should be held in a separate category, like how spiders are differentiated from insects.😁

@@CleoHarperReturns Interview with a Vampire & Last Samurai for Tom Cruise also he was an icon of the movie Tropic Thunder. For Mel Gibson I think most of his shine comes from the rare comedy roles he does like Maverick or Daddy's home 2.
@@muttamerican4863 I remember when IWTV came out I found him disappointing -- same with the Last Samurai. In the former, he seemed way too embarrassed to play the more intimate parts and in the latter, it just felt like he hadn't made any attempt to understand the culture at all. When I think of Tom Cruise, the word disingenuous comes to mind. As for good ole Mel, I wanted him to be my dad when I first saw Mad Max -- now I'm really glad he was not.😁However I do find Mel to be a much better actor than Tom Cruise in more dramatic roles, now that I think about it. You're also right about his comedic roles. I'd forgotten about those! But I have wanted to flush Tom Cruise's head down the toilet since Risky Business...and I was only ten then.

I really appreciate the fact that you reviewed Pattenson's acting, as he really did step up and provided a fantastic and grounded Bruce Wayne. Other actors have done solid jobs, but they were different directors. He did just such a good job of subtle acting, and while not everyone can notice these subtleties, the fact that the director could recognize them, as well as the editor, really helped heighten the film. As you (and redlettermedia) often say, "you might not have noticed, but your brain did".
