Implying that in Batman’s previous run ins with the Falcones he’s gathered they view him as a bit of a joke - and you can see on Oz’s face he gets real bitter when Batman retorts but he can’t do anything about it this time. This universe retroactively deepening its own lore is the mark were in the hands of great writers.

Honestly whenever I see Batman being shot at all I can think of is if just one bullet hits him in the lower jaw area he’s done for. Crazy he doesn’t have protection there.
Nah, that jawline is made of diamond for sure.
He has the ultimate protection of plot armor, but yes in real life his entire face would have to be covered for maximum protection. Or if he wants to leave part of his face exposed the underside of his lower jaw would have to be covered at least.
Its the Robocop problem.
atleast he doesn’t have to worry about getting water boarded like spiderman
bullet would bounce off pattinsons jaw
1:37 for anyone who wants to see Batman throw Oz into the window
cathartic
This hits so different now we know his backstory!
4:56 I love the moment when the Batman says :" it's car-chasing time" and proceeds to chase the Penguin all over the place.
Rip victor
11:37 the most Jersey-Italian thing I've ever heard, shame he doesn't have the makings of a varsity athlete.
lol uncle June would’ve tore into Ozzy
lol uncle June would’ve tore into Ozzy
CMOOOOOOOOOOOON!
Small hands that was his problem.
"You know my reputation?"
"Yeah, I do. Do you?" 🥶
9:15 the nerve of Oz calling someone else a psycho. RIP Vic 😢
he loves doing that
R.I.P. Vic!!! 😢😢😢
Well, he isn’t one.

@@Ok-fj7xx Oz
I wish we could have more than a trilogy of movies in this universe. I want to see Robin and Barbara Gordon too 😭
black Barbara Gordon
we are going to get some spin offs don't know if we'll get barbara gordon and robin though
Barbara doesn't add anything to the Batman's character. Robin/Nightwing does.
@@rastyplayzzofficialThere isn't going to be any spin offs.
@@rzn2258There is literally a show about the penguin that started yesterday
the batman was a solid penguin spin-off
Colin Ferrell was doing Robert DeNiro as The Penguin in this movie, and Marlon Brando as The Penguin in his series. Hope he gets an Emmy.
DC bringing back the old logo is a phenomenal move.
Watching this after the Penguin show finale
Same lol
It's so weird to hear Oz use "friggin" when he drops the F bomb so casually in the series.
The Penguin 1st episode was fire! Sooooo gooood!
Ikr!!
The whole show is fire. better than peaky blinders imo
One of the Best Car Chase in Batman Movies history.
Honestly the more I watch it this might be the best Batman movie ever made.
penguin is easily in my top 3 Batman villains but Colin as penguin now has made him #1
wish we could get more then 1 season
After watching the show I honestly love Colin’s performance as the penguin I love how he comes off as a Tony soprano type lol
Excited for Batman II because of Oz. And I am more excited because of all the secret things they haven't announced yet. Matt Reeves knows what he is doing.
Matt Reeves is cooking hard
The more I see Farrel in action as Penguin, the more I'm absolutely blown away by his presence, performance, and energy. What a way to turn your career around!
Rewatched the Batman after finishing the penguin and suddenly everything became better and more understood for me even with the storylines can’t wait for The Batman 2 now omg
The only person penguin scared of, and I came here to act like this is the scene where the Batman chases the penguin and beats him up for what hes done to Victor
Vic was a thief, a drug dealer, a gangster, and a murderer. He had one last chance to walk away and start anew, but chose a life of crime out of greed, spite, and vanity. His short life was just a natural consequence of the path he chose.
This Batman is a masterpiece and feels like a detective noir thriller. The Penguin is an excellent companion piece exploring the criminal underworld of Gotham City. Matt Reeves universe made this world completely realistic, dark and gritty and grimly.
Who's here after the Penguin Season 1 Episode 8?
Me, whole new perspective on him watching this.
Me, can't wait for The Batman Part ll
Can’t wait for Batman to kick his face in
Me
me!
BATMAAAAAAN!!! DESTROY THE PENGUIN AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!!
Blud thinks he's Kratos 🤣
😂@@Dante-k4c
After watching The Penguin show, i really hope that Batman pays him more visits, just to punch him in the face 😅 (after everything he has done 😢)
Colin Farrell, J0hnny Depp, Jude Law donated their entery salary in the doctor Parnasus 2009 by Terry Gilliam Monty Python to Heath Ledger's daughter Matilda
How kind of them 😢❤
It was a cool movie with a lot of occult symbolism.
Can't wait for this penguin series gonna be a good series 10/10
I was never a huge Penguin fan. But Robin Lord Taylor and Colin Farrel have changed that.
Whois here after watching the last episode of the penguin !??
After watching the show, it's funny seeing Oz under the constraints of the PG-13 rating.
Didn’t really like The Batman but I’m loving the show. I’ll rewatch the movie soon to see if it changed my mind. So I’m here looking at Oz’s scenes. Man I forgot about this movie lol
4:27
The whine of the Turbine starting up and the dark figure of some type of vehicle really demonstrated the tactic that Batman employs to win a lot of his fights.
It's fear.
And Colin Farrell really nailed it. His face wasn't contempt. It was afraid of what he just started.
*Me After Watching The Final Episode Of The Penguin:* Oh how I will enjoy seeing your Downfall, Oswald...
Me after the end of The penguin series: 1:38
He's a vile traitor.
lol I felt that
Bruh I ain’t even know the penguin was on Batman hopefully he’s on part 2 and Batman takes him out
It has been confirmed that he wil have 5-6 scenes in part 2
I didn't see Colin in this scene. That's how good he is.
after watching penguin, there is much more gravity in these scene.
the fact that oz knew selina the whole time is crazy
best penguin ever
incredible
The Penguin character is antisemitic. Google it and educate yourself!
@@Squadron_Bodron who asked or cares ?
@@oswald9723 you cared enough to comment. And if you can't care about antisemitism what can you care about.
@@Squadron_Bodron was your critic directed toward the actor or toward a character of fiction that doesn't exist in real life ? If it's the 2nd option, you need to grow tf up and keep that victim card in your pocket
Just finished The Penguin series it was awesome !!! I can’t wait for The Batman ll and where the story goes ! 🦇🐧 💯
Same
1:42 when I first saw this movie I didn’t really understand this line m. But after the show I realized that when Batman first arrives at the lounge - he already addresses Oz as the penguin - and in the show they make it clear it’s not some cool gangster name - but an insult he despises hearing.
I can't take in the fact that Edward Cullen is looking after Gotham.
No but in all seriousness, Robert did justice to the young Batman. He looked amazing both in costume and regular
Penguin though. Colin was on another level of mastery
We knew him as Cedric diggory B4 that 😂
After watching The Penguin these scenes are so much better
Penguin still riding that Maserati😂
He has a fidelity card
Not anymore after the last ep lol
not anymore lol he got a purple RR now .
Who's here after finishing the Penguin series?
The build up of fear is great. The little tees makeing them all start running. Knowing they are in serious trouble.
Batman is like the best character of comics alongside spider man. Anytime these 2 appear anywhere they steal the show.
I guess being a chauffeur for the Falcones really paid off for Oz to having his skills as a getaway driver
Love the chase scene. Only problem I have is maybe with the logic of Batman only caring about catching Penguin. He doesn't seem to mind that there's innocent people possibly burning in the wreckage behind him.
The whole point of the movie is him coming to realise that single-minded vengeance is not the solution and he needs to also help the citizens of Gotham
