I have 4G94, idle is OK but when engage any forward or reverse Tom drops down and engine shuts off itself.
What did you do? My car behaves the same
Can be high pressure fuel regulator malfunction or throttle body
Currently suffering from that problem, car doesn't idle when in D or R,sometimes it'll run on P or N a few minutes then drops idle and switches off

You can see it on the video, it is attached on the side of the body.
Mine Pajero Pinin is 2.0 GDI 129hp. 2002.
Can you please post your second video that you clean the sping inside , i have the same car
Would also love to see a full tb cleaning! Just got my 2002 pajero io 2.0 gdi and same idle problem so going to clean tb and do plugs hopefully helps!
