Do you think god painted a Chevrolet in the factory in the 1950's, formed the gear shaft and weld bolted the body together to form what then is an automobile. Do you think the cake makers icing was thought up by god and when they baked the cake god gave them the power to turn off the over when it reached a time of 10 minutes. This is an independent strategy's given to the mortal man and women, not that of a gift from god. God didn't get me into university in 1956. I played for about 7 or so years myself, haven’t touched it in several because I passed it on to my nephew (don’t worry I still play other instruments). Was first chair in the band a lot of the time. First year was tough but I got an award for most improved, the main thing I focused on was getting the mouth right because I wanted perfect tone even if my playing was simple. From there I learned more complicated music. Not sure how far along you are with your journey, I’m just hoping this information helps anyone.
Having a good mouth piece helps too. In my 2nd year I bought a really nice one and better ligatures. I then bought in the middle of that year a really nice clarinet. But before someone does that, you gotta perfect that mouth and get good tone. If you can make a cheap clarinet sound good, you can make a nice one sound really good.

Screaming soaring swinging jamming clarinet playing. Though I've always liked clarinet, I've never heard it sound like this. This, my friends, is how you're supposed to play. No vanity. Pure music. And a perfect example of virtuosity in a person who has a giant heart. Absolute soulful top level fun. Magnificent.

I turned 60 today. I have squeaked on my clarinet, honked on my verdi-gris alto horm, brushed my drums, put Brasso on the cymbals and yes I tinkle on those plastic keys..weighted or not to a point where I think I'm Oscar...And yes...did my time in the subway/street of your choice as a busker. AND do know you what? Watching this just makes me want to get out there and wail...yes WAIL!!!!...no bar manager/etc telling you how you should sound, or play, too slow, too fast, too loud ...etc.. You ,my fellow clarinettist, have inspired me to keep trying to hit those top A's at all occasions! Absolutely wonderful stuff or dare I say, what a wonderful world when you think about it.
Love, peace and red lentils, thanks for posting. P.S. the dude winding her up has got me laughing......so many gigs, so many muso memories.

Well, at the top left side of your UA-cam window, there are 3 lines just left of the words "UA-cam". Click on that and it will open, scroll or look down until you see the words "Your videos" and click on that and you'll see all of the videos you've uploaded to your UA-cam channel, find this or any other video and place your pointer arrow on the thumbnail of your video, then, just to the right you should see 5 icons including the 3 dots. Click on those 3 dots and it should show the words "Edit title and description", proceed to edit and change the title of your video(s), then click "SAVE".
