Luftavfukteren Meaco Arete® One er en kompressorbasert avfukter med den nye miljøvennlige gassen R290. Merk at R290 er et fantastisk kjølemedie til bruk i luftavfuktere, men at denne gassen kan være ekplosiv ved lekkasjer. Vær veldig forsiktig når du jobber med avfuktere som har R290 som kjølemedium. Ikke gjør reparasjoner eller endringer hvis du ikke er 100% sikker på hva du gjør. Er du i tvil, så skal du overlate jobben til et godkjent verksted. Vi anbefaler Pelles Verksted. So its the same as the low energy model just more difficult to strip to replace the compresor capacitor lol

Hi there, this is a really helpful video, but how did you manage the plastic clips on the front panel ?
Its a while since we made this video, but as I remember it you need to remove the screws, and then just use power with your hands. Takes some force to get it loose first time.

Do you know if the smaller models are also using reciprocating compressors?
I am 99,9 % sure they use the same type of compressor, only difference is the size.

Hello, thank you for sharing this video. I’m having some issues with my dehumidifier “Meacodry Arete one 10L”. Do you think I can do the same as you did in order to clean a bit the evaporator. There is water leaking from the bottom of the dehumidifier and when I removed the filter I noticed that the evaporator is covered by a thick layer of wet dust.

It is very important to keep the dehumidifier clean. Normally the only thing a consumer can do is to change filter and vacuum as good as possible from the outside. If you have the knowledge to open it, then it can be wise to clean the evaporator as well, but please remember that this device runs on electricity so you should really know what you are doing.
Same as me, I have the Meaco Arete 25L and compartment under the water tank fills up and leaks everywhere... Stuck! 😢

Hi, does the air get blown out warmer or colder thanks?
The air coming out of the dehumidifier is a little bit warmer than the air going in. In that way this dehumidifier will work as a heater as well, but the main purpose is to reduce and control the humidity in the air.
The sensor is playing up on mine. Saying E1
Then there is something wrong with it. Please contact the place you bought it and they will help you out. Probably you need to send it back for repair. Good luck!
Does the air flow through the dehumidifier first & then through the hepa filter or vice versa? I read that hepa filters only catch viruses because they catch the water molecule that the virus is catching a ride on. A virus is too small to be caught in a hepa filter on its own. So if it filters the air after it’s been dehumidified it might not be as effective at filtering viruses? 🤔
The air flow through the HEPA filter first. Then the humidity is removed afterwards. The reason for doing it in this order is that the dehumidifier will work in clean air, and the machine will not become dirty inside. A dehumidifier that is clean inside will work better, consume less energy and last longer.

There seems to be something wrong with the audio on this video. Some strange whistling and strumming totally drowns out anything that is said.
Thanks for mentioning this. This is actually a video without talking. I am just showing the different parts of this dehumidifier, without talking about it. I have several other videos where I am talking about the machine, but that is in Norwegian and probably not helpful for you anyway. I hope the video makes it a bit more clear how the dehumidifier looks inside.
