This game made me fall in love with the Final Fantasy series at the time I couldn't get enough of this game and when I beat it, I felt like I was watching the end of titanic 😭lol I rushed to GameStop to get the original ff7 to find out that it was a PS1 game that had way worse graphics I was so disappointed but now its remade and their doing this one too someone pinch me I must be in heaven lol wonder if they will do Dirge of Cerberus even though I didn't play that one much
@Abby Williams I'm curious is it a continuation of the story from Zack's real point of view instead of the false reality Cloud experienced in the original game? Even if you 100% FF7 so much of Zack's story is left to mystery. I replayed the game on a live series recently and it was a blast so I'll have to play this and continue the story.
This is one of the games that I've missed playing, my PSP was stolen so I never got to revisit crisis core. I don't know how I missed this Shadow drop. Absolutely a fun game

I don't see why people think this is a cloud version, it's a little known rule of Nintendo that if it's a cloud version you have to come up front and announce it right there it's a cloud version.

Two years ago I dug out my old PSP just to play Crisis Core all over again and after finishing it for the second time, I realized it wasn’t going to be my last playthrough and was wildly hoping for a remake- maybe in the form of a DLC to the FF7 remakes. Bless us, we’re just getting the full game all over again
I think this game is perfect to Switch. It was originally designed to be played on a portable platform, looks better than the original but at the same time won't look par to the same graphic fidelity FF7R got on Playstation and PC. EDIT. Luckily, Ever Crisis will also release on Switch in the future.

I played this so much on the og PSP until my PSP broke down. Now, I can revisit one of my favorite childhood game on handheld again! Thank you Square Enix :.)
Bruh. I played this game up and down on my PSP, and now it comes for the Switch. And as it looks like not only has the graphics been overhauled, but the summons are new too. The negative things are that the story is linear as heck, you have side missions that teleport you to the locations from any save point, the random wheel that takes away your control of summoning Bahamut Fury whenever you want next to a lot of other things. New game plus let's you get stronger which makes summons even rarer. Music is very metal heavy. The best songs are in the last area. Zack is probably doing his Squats again.
The original voice of Zack Fair is what makes him my favorite character of all time. If I could wish for anything, it would be that Rick Gomez was his voice actor forever. It's the only voice I accept as Zack's.
Please tell me you guys are gonna do an actual physical release for this game…… digital is cool and all but make it a pre order option for people that want the physical game… even if it is an old game getting a remake.. I’d like to think they would..

I'm gonna say it's time for you all to feel what we felt back in the PSP days but it seems Reunion is in the R Timeline and not the OG FFVII. But yeah I really wasn't expecting it to be on Switch. Surely this is native and not.... Cloud Version again. Also combat feels alot faster than CC:PSP to be just a 'remaster', the gameplay's new in my eyes despite some animations being the same.
Sorry but there is no way that this game is running native on Switch hardware. The particle effects, fidelity, and volumetric lighting running at this frame rate? This is either a cloud version or just misleading footage recorded on a PC.
@@agromchung This is not final footage, which they even make clear at the start of the trailer. But this game is not going to be a Cloud Version, they always specify those either right away or very close to the announcement. We would've known by now. It would even be on the video title

Yea, Zacks original VA idk it just suite him so well with the presentations of his emotions and how he carried alot of conversations was very very well done and I hope there's an option for us to possibly stick to the main VA as opposed to this new one

Final Fantasy 7 is one of my favorite games of all time. I'll probably pick this up it looks fantastic.

They are trying to keep consistency with the FF7 Remake voice actors. This is basically a prequel to FF7.

@@gunsharck I mean, there is a berth of difference between "oh yeah that game looks neat, glad I get to try it" and "I'm so eager to play something I'm going to hunt down a cheap psp and a game for it"
I played the original but I never beat it so I’m happy that I’ll finally have the chance to play it again
@@gunsharck The person said “I never got to try the original out”, probably has a lot to do in their life so probably didn’t have the time or even know about the game until recently. Like me I never knew about Zach and his story until after I beat VII and looked at the comment section on video to find out VII had a prequel

I'm gonna say it's time for you all to feel what we felt back in the PSP days but it seems Reunion is in the R Timeline and not the OG FFVII.
But yeah I really wasn't expecting it to be on Switch. Surely this is native and not.... Cloud Version again.
Also combat feels alot faster than CC:PSP to be just a 'remaster', the gameplay's new in my eyes despite some animations being the same.
Sorry but there is no way that this game is running native on Switch hardware. The particle effects, fidelity, and volumetric lighting running at this frame rate? This is either a cloud version or just misleading footage recorded on a PC.
@@agromchung This is not final footage, which they even make clear at the start of the trailer. But this game is not going to be a Cloud Version, they always specify those either right away or very close to the announcement. We would've known by now. It would even be on the video title
@@agromchung Apparently you underestimate the Switch. Have you seen alot of HQ games that are on Switch natively. Most definitely the Switch can easily run this PSP remake natively with ease. I'm not sure what you're talking about. Either you're seriously joking or you're too dumb to see.

Yea, Zacks original VA idk it just suite him so well with the presentations of his emotions and how he carried alot of conversations was very very well done and I hope there's an option for us to possibly stick to the main VA as opposed to this new one

This game's announcement made me cry so hard I scared my grandma I was just so happy it's finally coming back and now I hope dirge of Cerberus will be remade as well but I am so happy cc is getting it's comeback

Yea my thoughts too. I am so excited for how gorgeous this remake looks but honestly my heart breaks they didnt keep Rick Gomez and George Newbern for Zack and Seph. Its just kinda sad to me, their old voices are THE Zack and Sephiroth in my opinion. Oh well.
Honestly Tyler seems to be improving as Sephiroth. Heard that in part 1.

I'm hoping this isn't another cloud version, as Square's been doing that for the switch lately... Anyway, I'm excited to finally get to play this game after having played VII for the first time last year.
It's an all Zack an some Sephiroth before he goes crazy game. Cloud pops up in it but mostly as a third.
The only cloud you will see is Cloud Strife, this runs on switch hardware.
