Do you need to own a copy of the guitar pro software to use the files you provide on patreon? Or can your files be used as stand-alone?
I'm going to practice from today, wish me luck 🤞
Great exercises! I'll be coming back here regularly to see what speed I can achieve!
Thanks. I’ll try
exercise 1 & 2: switching picking direction. focus on lifting index finger
exercise 3: arpeggios with alternate picking
exercise 4: alternate pick 2 notes per string
exercise 5: stop and go pattern
40 bpm 3:26
Such a great workout video because all of these are easy to move around the neck and let you experiment with different shapes.
Just another great video as well as and it’s nice to have a fresh practice routine to start off a guitar session rather than repeating the same old things over and over to get started
Bernth can we get an ‘incorporating chords into shredding’ course? Really something I find difficult to do in a musical way x)
5:11 👍👍👍
So good
Practice is key ❤❤❤❤
8:18 for my practice :)
@3:22
Its been about a week and a half and i can now do them all at 80bpm, now to work on 120
Dude, This medium is so fast to me
How long are you playing guitar ? I mean i'm playing only 1.5 year and the medium speed is possible. I can say it's not that easy but it is playable.
just play it in tempo you can play it clean
Yeah, it literally doubles in tempo going from 40 bpm to 80 bpm which is a bit too much of a leap for me. I figured out that you can just change the playback speed in the youtube player though. So if you play the "slow" section at 1.25 speed that will be 50bpm. Then go up to 1.5 (60bpm), 1.75 (70bpm) then you can go onto the medium section at 80 bpm :)
.
As always, Merci Bernth.

Bernth Hi, please be rude about this comment. I want to ask, can progress be bad because of practicing only on the acoustic guitar? I watch your videos and am very inspired by them, and you are an example for me! But can I become a shredder with just an acoustic guitar?
If you can shred on an acoustic playing on an electric guitar will be waaaay easier, mainly because the strings on an acoustic guitar tend to be a higher gauge and the action on an acoustic guitar is generally way higher, but, of course, that isn't always the case, but, to my original point, if you learn to shred on an acoustic guitar:
A: Props to you for doing it (its exhausting)
B: switching it to an electric guitar will feel like your fingers are gliding over butter
(I'm no Bernth though, his guides have helped me to correct almost 20 years of terrible habits being a classical guitarist that self taught electric)
for the part around 4:30, is it bad if my pinky slightly touches the string underneath? I can't seem to only play the one string i need with my pinky finger
Can i do it in acoustic ?
give it a try
Yes. I imagine it would be easier with a cutaway acoustic.
Be mindful of your action on the strings if youve been practicing
I don't need this video because I got his 1 hours routine ❤
i gotta pay for that?
@@limathia nope just search bernth 1 hour guitar routine
Sir, i want to learn from you. Can you help!
