"Today we will practice together" Ahhh how I love to hear those words. These kind of videos are the ones that definitely helped me the most to get my ass up and practice 🤘
Honestly, these are great because sometimes you have maybe half an hour available, so you just wanna get your fingers moving. Especially if you don't plan your studies too much.
I am always trying to figure out WHAT TO PRACTICE! This video is one of the best I've encountered. Please do more like this! Edit: I got to the tapping section and crashed and burned. What a noisy mess I'm making!
I've been doing this for quite some time. In past I struggled especially with Sweeps. Taping I've never done succesffuly previously. Yesterday i backed off on sweeping, cause that was way outside of my comfort zone. Today I made my way to legato section. This workout helps me to progress. Thank you m8.
I will be joining you on patreon next week, after camping. Your videos give me hope, and I already see an improvement since discovering your you tube channel
I needed this so badly, THANK YOU! Incredible. I’ve focused so much on theory, improv, and ear training lately that I only just realized how much I’m falling short in working on my technique like this. I’ll be going through this every day! 🙏🏻
I gotta say I been playing guitar on and off for almost 13 years.. you given me more insight on understanding my instrument and learning good techniques and exercises. I am super grateful thank you!
You're awesome! The time you take to create these videos and the additional files... Is amazing. Thanks a lot for the new improvements regarding the guitar pro tabs... Now it's yet easier to follow along for the ones that are just starting, like myself. Thanks A LOT as always!
it maybe boring for the 1st time, once you speed up the playback 1.25x to 2x times, you will feel difficult, not in the workout, but consistency. great routine mr. Bernth!! killer!
I spent about 15 minutes a day for three days, using a metronome, practicing a few of these. I "learned" Master of Puppets back in 2005. It was supper sloppy and using pull-offs instead of down picking. It sounded like hot garbage. I don't know how, or which exercise pertains to the speed of down picking, but now I can do it without effort. Seriously without effort. I am referring to the intro, verse and chorus. Solo is still out of time, but working on it. Amazing instructions.
Learning to play Metallica songs, you come to the realization of how actually ALL of their songs are surprisingly very simple to play, yet sound extremely complicated.... Really makes you appreciate the band individually AND as a group, imo.
Great video. Definitely borrowing some of these into my practice regimen. I have a lot of right hand things like this. You have some I hadn't seen before. This video should have 50K likes.
OMG, thank you for the lesson, i haven't had a proper work out like that in a long time... I made it through one time, made many mistakes during the tricky fingers during the sweeps and the legato sections, but I am excited for more practices. Thank you for your lessons Shred Master Bernth **Bows in Apprentice**
Thank you for giving the opportunity to those who cannot afford to pay for lessons ... thank you for making all your advice usable, you are a 👍 Grande…Big!
Thank you for taking the time to make and share this video! Took me awhile to get through even the first exercise, but I can see improvement day by day.
Thank you for this, it could get quite boring with just youreself an a Metronome, this helps making it better to Practie. The sweep exercises are epic. Have a good one.
I'm going to learn this one drill at a time. It's a lot to handle. Fortunately the tab is right there on the screen and his patterns are diatonic and modal. Also it's fun
2 days later. It is not fun. I have never focused so completely on these four main ideas of guitaring before. I love it and beyond that it is free! I feel like i need to be a patreon simply to support this guy directly
3 days later i can see the application of this workout to scales and other musical motifs. I see what you're doing Bernth. 27 days from now my sweeps might be good enough to use improvising
Thanks for this workout Bernth! Very happy to try a new one! I have been following your 2 others 15 minutes workout and they helped me a lot to improve my playing! Keep your amazing work 😀🎸🤘.
Bernth, u absolute fuckin legend. Bro if i ever get a chance to name people for credits on my playin, u r def one of the names ill speak that day. And i will share that. keep on rockin man, keep it up.
I like your videos so much! I have guitar lessons every week! am now also learning alternate picking from paul gilbert lesson material! but I will also do things of yours! they are nice and have a lot of use!
Hi Bernth! I've been enjoying your videos for a long time. I'm doing s real deep dive into alternate picking right now. I was wondering if you would share any thoughts on your right hand alternate picking technique. If we establish the main movement comes from the wrist, and that's keeping the tempo. Would you say that you're still using your thumb and finger to change the pick angle as you make outside or inside string skips, or use a tighter/looser grip as you move to heavier strings? Or are you aiming to keep the pick held rigidly and using the wrist to make all necessary movements. Thanks! Much love and keep up the great content!
i have been playing guitar for 25 years when i practiced i've used alot of troy stetinas routines from speed mechanics for lead especially the alternate picking i have noticed when i practice you exercises they seem difficult some are easy.wondering what you advise would be in this area thanks

So the trick was relentless practice?
