I think you lost the point of the message. The slowing down was to figure out how she wanted to live her life. She realized that what you do, who you talk to, etc., reflects on who you are. If you spend your time drunk and partying then that reflects on what is important to you. If you spend your time meaningfully and deliberately you can not only change your life but help others as well. If no one knew anything about you what would they think about you watching your life for a day? What is the most important things to you by what you spend your time doing? Do you spend it meaningfully or do you throw away your time and energy on things that have no good effect on your life or other people's lives? That was her message.
