I know that my son, David, and his good friend, Travis, young men in their early 20's were protected while working on the Bountiful temple several years ago. They were part of a crew that helped with the exterior renovation. He and his crew prayed together each morning before they started work. My son was on scaffolding during the late Fall replacing the large sheets of stonework that is on the outer walls. The weather had turned wintery with snow storms. There had been an expectation that the work would have been completed before the winter set in, however, the stones did not arrive in a timely manner. The weather made the work more difficult and dangerous due to obstructed vision and slippery conditions. There were many instances where accidents were somehow miraculously avoided while they worked. Once, a large stone was being put into place using a pulley system and my son and his friend were guiding the large stone into position. The pulleys failed and the large stone came hurling down to where my son stood on the scaffolding. Just before it would have landed on him, which would have surely killed him, the stone somehow turned in such a way that it snagged, stopping it's fall. I know my son and his crew were protected that day.
Wow, there are so many things like this, Thank you so much for sharing this. Sorry I didn't notice and respond to your comment earlier. Thanks for watching
Thank you for sharing these stories each video. I once and a while get locked out my family App Hard times getting back in. I found out I have 2 sets Why they can't be combined some way. In due time... I so enjoy looking into the family members and flags. Yes,I enjoy everything about The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints ❤❤❤ 21:36
Lah ee ā... my mom served a mission there. She said the Hawaiians pronounce every letter in a word. She would say the name of the temple very slow and deliberate to us. It was so funny, now it is stuck in my head hearing her say it. I LOVE your stories, thank you again and again.
Church and temple history are so IMPORTANT! I think they give a strong foundation to our testimony. If we know of the struggles faced by the saints in years passed, we can better face our own struggles. They say we are doomed to repeat our mistakes if we neglect to study/know our own history. Well, that may be true but I think knowing our church history strengthens us if we remember the blessings given to the early Saints. When they were faithful and faced their problems, the Lord was there to help them. I will use your podcast stories in my Primary lessons as the opportunities arise. ... and thank you for the stories. They enrich the day's journey. ❤😊❤ 21:28
@@mikesaltzgiver7348 Thanks Mike. I miss our old Temple. The new one is not designed to work. But we keep plugging along. Give my love to your beautiful wife
I love all of these stories!! I have a daughter who is currently at BYU Hawaii- I love the story of the Laie Temple! And of course, the Kirtland Temple. Joseph Smith was heavily chastised for putting off the building of the Kirtland Temple. Bybee is my maiden name. I love hearing stories about my Bybee ancestors! And learning about their interactions with the Prophet Joseph.
Such a beautiful heartfelt testimony of temple work! Thank you a thousand times for your efforts to inspire and motivate! I get so happy when I see that you've posted another video! God bless you!❤

However (again), it was Heber C. Kimball. ill pray for you, and ask that you will be better with names, when im praying tonight Brother Merrill.🙂 Martin from Denmark
Thanks I keep replacing HJG for Heber C Kimball. It is the second time I have misspoken. Sorry. I try not to look at my notes too much and have always had a hard time with names. Thanks for watching
