Brother Merrill, I am a caregiver for my 79 yr old bedridden wife who is suffering from a form of Parkinsons. You don't know how much that you are helping people. I beg of you from the bottom of my heart to continue your broadcasts. I can't leave my wife for very long much less attend Sunday School/Priesthood meetings. I can only speak for myself when I say that you are needed very much. Thank you for your efforts.
Cal you are amazing, thank you for your loving service. My grand father took care of my bedridden grandmother for 17 years. I have no intention of stopping these broadcasts. I am going to continue to do 2 a week. I may eventually go to 1 a week. I takes 25-30 hours per story, depending how much research is required. But the Lord wants me to do this and He is helping me. Thank you so much for your comment.

My prayer this morning to Father was asking if He really was there, and that I would be made aware of His tender mercies and love for me today. I closed tonight listening to your testimony about prayer, how personal revelation comes to our heart and mind, how we can discern between each side, and that the Lord loves us. I received a witness through tears and a heart bursting over this truth. Thank you for giving of your time and talents to lift me up tonight.

Abstract in our minds? In the 70s, it was a hot July day with a crystal clear blue sky. I asked God if He would please make it snow, just for me. And so it began to snow, just as I knew it would. I held out my hand in delight, but what I didn't expect was that each and every bit of snow was sparkling with multiple colors in the strong sunlight. Even when they touched my skin and melted, they still reflected multiple colors.
Not a cloud in the sky, just a beam of falling snow as rainbow sparkles, all around me.

I’m really thankful l found this channel.
With all there is on UA-cam, and more often than not l watch videos done by my fellow LDS saints, l was becoming confused by many of these videos and their content.
I began to question whether l should be watching some of them.
I actually prayed for discernment in making UA-cam decisions.
Widowhood can leave one with a lot of free time.
Very soon after l prayed about this, up popped one of your videos.
I’d never been told about Sunshine For The Soul, nor had l heard of it or seen it while scrolling.
But suddenly there it was, right out of the blue!
I listened and felt the spirit very strongly.
I believe l was led to your channel and look forward to it.

I find bits and pieces in various books. Compile details from various sources and try to flesh out the stories from the generally scanty condition I originally find them in. Several of the Stories from this episode were from: "Powerful Stories from the Lives of Latter-day Saint Men". by Leon R Hartshorn 1974 Others: "Outstanding Stories by General Authorities, same author, 1970, and same author, Outstanding Stories by GAs II 1974
