Real prayers come from your heart, not something you memorize. The best way to not get what you want from someone is to annoy them by saying the same thing over and over again.
VAIN repetitions are prohibited.
Not repetitions, Our Father can be repeated because that prayer is the prayer taught by Christ.
Did Christ pray 3 times with same prayer? Yes, He did.
If these are prayers that will praise God and for the greater glory of God, it is not vain at all. Pray with your heart, meditate the words.
Covid Nuremberg trials, this is so true. You can say the Lord’s Prayer and be thinking of your grocery list at the same time……we need to speak from the heart. Have an actual conversation with God and repent of sins, ask for guidance…..he hears all we say, or ask for in Jesus’ name. We need to listen for his word/reply also.
