Hi, we're so glad you all enjoyed our video sharing our Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS collection with you. We're back today with our GameCube collection. This is an interesting one since we were just kids when the GameCube came out so while we have fewer games, they hold a lot of core memories for us. One thing we realized with the GameCube that it really had some truly iconic multiplayer games and it brought back really fond memories of us playing with our friends and family. Gamecube is definitely significantly underrated. The percent of games on it that are amazing titles out of its entire library might be the highest of all consoles.
Gamecube stood on its own back in its time. The PS2 on the other hand is the best selling of all time all because it is a game console/DVD player. And DVD players weren't that affordable at that time.
GameCube is really not underrated though. There are ppl grabbing these games because they’re in high demand. They’re getting hard to find.
Cube isn’t unrated if you own it back in the day. You knew you had something special on your hands. I had one day 1.
Yall don't understand, obviously those of us that had one know it's an amazing console. It's underrated because so many people ignored the console and all of its games.

I remember being like 18 and such a PS2 fan at the time, I scoffed at the Gamecube until I felt the controller and played Windwaker for the first time at Circuit City. I fell in love! Bought one soon after and it became one of my favorite consoles of ALL time!!
You scoffed at a way better system controller design function fu fundermentals of gaming this is tne very reason I despite playstion fans watching cut scene isn't gaming dualshock is tne most poor performance g and uncomfortable1st party controller all time dead anolog sto sks with huge dead spots are UNUSABLE long load times a d unacceptable on a gaming device I could go on and on ps2 as a hardware utterly stank the load times infuriating the buttons hurt to use the lag was annoying theanolog stocks litterally had on and off a d nothing in-between did I mention those load times my god unusable system walk watch cut scene loading screen walk watch cut scene loading screen Isnt video gaming

Man I wish I had my old GC. Anyone else played Phantasy Star Online? I put over 500 hours into that bad boy.
Also Simpsons Hit & Run was a fantastic title back then. Someone bring it back please. lol
Phantasy star online is Amazing! I remember the fights that would happen when people would steal a Trigrinder 😂 Such a hidden gem for the console.
I still play online to this day! I have thousands of hours in that game, my favorite game ever!
There was a tragedy back then which solidified me staying away from those kinds of games. My friends, and our mutual friend who lived across the street, they each had level 99 PSO characters.
Their little brother, who was two at the time, put pennies in the back of the 'Cube. This caused all of their PSO data to get erased. 3 months worth of playtime.

Looking back on it now, the Nintendo GameCube did not get nearly as much as it deserved: my all-time favorite game on the GameCube was definitely Sonic adventure 2 battle, because that multiplayer was the best way to spend a weekend with my siblings 🎮
I believe Zelda: Collector's Edition was a pack-in for the Platinum GameCube circa 2004. When I pre-ordered Wind Waker in 2003, I was given the disc for Master Quest.
Two notable GameCube games not talked about in this video: 007 Nightfire and TimeSplitters 2. Both really fun first person shooters with great multiplayer.
In my opinion some of Nintendo best games come from this generation. Double dash, melee, ttyd, sunshine and etc . They took games from the 64 era and just put out amazing sequels.
I’m shocked that you guys don’t have a single Mario Party game on GameCube. Some of my favorite GameCube games are Animal Crossing, Mario Party 7, and Chibi Robo. Honorable mention to Pikmin 2 which I adore but I played the Wii New Play Controller version rather than the original on GameCube

GameCube was the first system that I bought with my own money. Even though there were some rough droughts in its lifetime, I have some very fond memories of this system. It introduced me to my now favorite video game series, Metroid.

My GameCube games: Balder’s Gate: Dark Alliance, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (this with the box and manual!), Gauntlet: Dark Legacy, The Hobbit, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door, Skies of Arcadia Legends, Worms 3D, X-Men Legends, and X-Men Legends 2.
Just found a copy of Metroid Prime 2 at a retro games shop, snatched it immediately. I finally own the whole trilogy!

Two Metroid and Zelda games on one console was crazy back then. The GameCube era paired with the GBA was an amazing time to be a Nintendo fan

I was mainly a PS2 player at the time instead so I don't have the same amount of nostalgia for all of the games as most people here probably do but I always liked the way the console looked and I definitely think the GameCube startup is one of the most iconic in all of gaming history.

The GameCube is honestly my favorite Nintendo console. So many goated games on it. What’s funny too is that I bought a GameCube for myself when I technically didn’t need one. I grew up in the Wii era but as a kid I didn’t know the Wii was backwards compatible. So I bought the whole system. I don’t regret it though since I like having the physical console.
My first console was the 64 when I was 7 so I’ll always hold it near and dear but the GameCube really made me fall in love (and started a slight addiction 😅) for video games. Still have it to this day.
Also, I’m surprised to see they didn’t have either of the Starfox games!

The European Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and Gamecube system pack included the Legend of Zelda Promotional Disk and it was included inside the Mario Kart box, interesting way of promoting Zelda...
Enjoyed the video. The spice controller reminded me of my gba my mom had special ordered from Japan as a surprise for me. I still have my spice orange gba and play it even today! If I had gotten a GameCube I know I would’ve gotten the spice version!
The Urbz got mentioned, cool, I know it's not great, but it was a childhood favorite to a lot of us.

The Gamecube was the last system my brother and I both played together before he went off to college in 2004, and it's still one of my favorite Nintendo consoles ever. I still have all my Gamecube games and even recently added Viewtiful Joe to my collection. I was shocked when Kit mentioned the 4 or 5 games that he got rid of because they're some of the best games on the system. I don't know why he still had some of the other random games but got rid of Rogue Squadron II, Pikmin, Eternal Darkness, and MGS the Twin Snakes (the last two I never owned but I played them part way through). I actually really like Mario Sunshine as well, don't know why it's not more popular.
GameCube is probably my most nostalgic console. Mainly bc I’d go over to a friends house and play Smash Melee, sometimes MK double dash. I wasn’t really able to play a lot of the first party games but as I’ve gotten older and with adult money I think a really slept on game is KND game as the writing is amazing and actually had some great laughs and the gameplay is awesome for that time. It’s so cool to see these games in such great conditions and is always cool to hear about the history of the time for some of these games that I was a little to young to pay attention to.

As a gamecube owner back then, it was awesome ofc- the issue with the gamecube... was more that ps2 was out. and you cant ignore that it is the best selling console of all time, because it is for a reason. Insane library, backward compatible, had a dvd player etc, so while GC was awesome... I wasnt on it as much as the ps2, like many others.
And mario sunshine and windwaker are awesome but with the hype from n64, coming from mario 64 and ocarina of time? they never delivered the hype people set up, and coming from majoras mask, playing as a kid link AGAIN ? yeah, even the kids at school mocked that.

The GameCube is really awesome, I still have one too! But I mostly play Mario Party 6 and 7, and sometimes also 5 on it.
GameCube was fantastic era at the time i never stopped playing super mario sunshine, Zelda wind waker, resident evil 1 remake, Metroid prime and viewtiful joe.
SNES is still my favourite Nintendo home console at the time. I remember queing up on launch to buy the console ringing Nintendo hotline from a phonebox in 1991 because i was stuck on crystal 6 on Zelda link to the past great times indeed ♥️
I missed the GameCube era thanks to the PS2. But, I really enjoyed the GCs some of my friends had. I had a GBA and used to to play Cristal Chronicles with the link cable. It was very unique.
Great video! One of my favorite systems to collect for! My favorite Gamecube game is Fire Emblem Path of Radiance which I do own a MINT copy of CIB. I also enjoy Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Sunshine and Paper Mario 1000 Year Door. Would love to see more collection videos from you two.

I remember the day I received my GameCube, it was my 16th birthday and my family was camping. We had a pop up camper with a tv and i was playing Legend of Zelda (the game that came with it) all weekend. Great memory !!!
The GameCube was the first game console I personally owned, been a fan of it since Christmas of 2003. 21 years later, and it is still one of my favorite consoles to play and collect for. Unfortunately, some of the best and most obscure games are getting really expensive, to the point that they are getting more expensive than some of the US games on the Sega Saturn. I’m talking games like, Gotcha Force, Go Go Hypergrind, Cubivore, Chibi-Robo, and the crown jewel of my GameCube collection, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.
I'm surprised you guys didn't have any of the Mario Party games. They dominated the GameCube era, there were 4 of them, and they were fun multiplayer games.
A lot of great Sonic games on GameCube that Kit, unfortunately, missed out on.

Chibi robo seems like the perfect game for nintendo to be a mainstay but they sadly abandoned. The gamecube game is now worth 200+ in box.

Hey! I’m a big fan of the channel, truly have watched nearly all episodes of the cast. I’ve noticed in the last few collection videos and a few podcast episodes that Kit is very quick to either dismiss or talk over Krysta’s story’s or opinions on things and it happens quite a lot in this video, it was hard to watch. I think this might just be a small road bump or a bad couple weeks for this but I wanted to submit the constructive criticism as a major fan. You both have such interesting stories and details that your viewers super appreciate, no need to compete for time on each one , please let Krysta express her thought more! Love you guys ❤

Mario sunshine I liked a lot due to the vacation theme.
The GameCube was my first video game console as a kid and still holds a special place in my heart. My mom sadly had to sell my gaming collection due to hard financial times at one point growing up, but thankfully I did have a good few years with my beloved GC games. I think I still have my memory cards, though, so it would be fun now to collect some of the GC games I used to have and play them again where I left off!

My biggest memories of the Gamecube days was playing Wind Waker and i even owned the promotional disk too! it was the only way i got to play Ocarina of Time for the first time before the 3DS remake came out, also had Luigi's Mansion, another great title at the time 💙

F-Zero freaking GX... instantly a classic console because of that. Loved Killer7, 1080 Avalanche, Animal Crossing, Chibi Robo, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (my god that game!l), Pikmin, Resident Evil Remake and 4, Super Monkey Ball and... Odama.
GameCube was a special time for me in gaming. One of the best eras!

GameCube is my favourite console! It was the first console I could buy during the launch window, I'm so fond of it! Until today, Luigi's Mansion, Eternal Darkness, Super Mario Sunshine, Zelda WW and Mario Kart DD are in my all-time favourite games list.
The Gamecube is one of my personal favorite systems. Very nice collection as well.
I have great memories of playing Tales of Symphonia and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles with my family. Both amazing games.
SNES takes the crown for me, with the NES right on it's tail. Pop culture during the late 80's and early to mid 90's was simply unbeatable. Had some pretty solid GameCube memories with Wind Waker, Resident Evil 4, F-Zero GX, SSB Melee, Luigi's Mansion, Soul Calibur 2 and a few others. Yet It just never came close to reaching the heights as the former two, or even the Wii+Virtual Console, at least for me personally. :P
Dreamcast was easily my favourite during the 6th console geneation. :D One of the best console launches ever!
Great collection you guys! Eternal Darkness was such a clever game with how it would troll you. When I thought my Memory card got deleted all I could think was “my animal crossing town noooo!” Man I fell for the troll HARD 😂

My friends and I probably had over a hundred hours put into Kirby Air Ride just messing around in the free play mode for City Trial. I know every square inch of that city 😂

I loved the gamecube even though I never had my own, I played a lot with family and borriwed from friends. Then when i got my wii i got my fix of all the mario kart and smash i could have. Also since i grew up with Sunshine i do think its my favorite one of the 3D games, even though it drives me insane.
Ahh… so many memories! This was a fun one! I was very surprised to see that y’all didn’t have Phantasy Star Online! That’s a rare one and it was another core memory I had of split screen gaming with friends and family!
2:35 - The Zelda Promo disc was bundled with certain GameCube bundles. When I first got my GameCube as a kid, I got that particular bundle. The pre order bonus for Wind Waker was the Ocarina of Time/Master Quest disc.
I love my GameCube to this day. I’d spend hours playing Mario Kart Double Dash. The Mario sport games are still better than the current games on the Switch. Gameplay, content, mini games, challenges.
Nintendo GameCube is my favourite Nintendo console of all time also my favourite gamecube game of all time is Super Mario Sunshine. 💜🎮💜

One of my favorite GameCube games that I still own is a Capcom game called Gotcha Force
You played as cartoony mechs and defended the world from aliens. The multiplayer was very fun too. You would dodge and charge up attacks, play as a dragon mech, and unlock rare colored variants.
I also got Fire Emblem at a Yard Sale for $1 except mine was CIB and also had the GB Player disk and Radiant Dawn for $1 each too!
Bless you if you got these games back when they were newer or used and no one cared about collecting for it
Metroid Prime 2 was my first Metroid game, and it's my favorite, too bad you don't have the GameCube version because that boxart is beautiful and it's the reason I asked my mom to buy it for me back in the day, it just caught my eye!
I bought the Zelda collection disk from a friend, it's probably one of my most valuable games!
And from the same friend I borrowed Fire Emblem Path of Radiance but I don't have the disk anymore... But only an empty case, so hey I can complete your collection 😅 hahaha
GameCube was the best Nintendo console I had. I got my platinum one for my 8th Birthday back in 2004 with Mario Kart Double Dash as my 1st game.
I love Mario Sunshine and Double Dash and Luigi’s Mansion!! They’re my favorite games for the GameCube!
Double Dash is good, so it lets you race others with a partner!!
Mario Sunshine is amazing with all 120 Shines in it and I like all 20 balloons, but it is hard for me to play it.
Luigi’s Mansion is amazing and it features Luigi who’s in the mansion alone or by himself with E. Gadd!
