Tolkien's legacy is still intact for me since i did ignore this Hobbit trilogy and never watched a minute of it, and i still watch the LOTR trilogy on a regular basis. The thing with Last Jedi is that i truly wanted to like the movie, even got hyped when the critics dropped 10 scores. And now i want to erase it from my mind
We can pretend they never happened, but they won't cease to exist, they will be there, whether we like it or not. The original trilogy is great, just like the Tolkien's. But the tiny sting will be right next to them.

For the new trilogy i was hoping our beloved group of space-fighters would return (Han, Leia, Luke, R2, C3PO. They did, but Han died, leia will die, r2 and c3po are hardly in it, and luke you know. They could've at least reunited all of them in episode 7, BUT NO. Who knows, if they didn't rush SWFA so early then carrie would never go to london. And if she had her heart attack at home then maybe she could've been rushed to the hospital and saved at the possible time. BTW carrie went to london because of the force awakens premiere.

it was after the premier. Rumors are he didn't know about Luke's death. He only saw it after watching this movie for the first time.They aded it behind his back.
