Hi there,, i sure hope you can help me here, it would be MASSIVELY appreciated.. i've just recently purchased a specialized TURBO VADO SL 4.O, 2024 EDITION.. i've also just received my speedbox 3.0 box also....NOT THE B-TUNING ONE!!!!! Do i just take-out the tcu unit and connect it? or do i have to fully Disconnect the battery at the crank?? many many thanks in advance..
Hi. It doesn't matter if you don't have the B.Tuning version. You install the SpeedBox under the TCU unit. Tuning will still be active after installation and the max speed will be set to 50 km/h.☺
@@2007zodiac Although this is a simple operation, we recommend that you remove the battery from the e-bike and put it back in after installation, just in case 🙂

Do you mean the battery in the TCU?...or..the main battery?, as there's a fixing that you can't get too behind the crank, which would require the removal of the pedal-arm, and the crank, which requires a crank extractor, which is a massive-job!!, a job that i'm not prepared to undertake!!!!!, which will result in me sending the product back to you!!, for a full refund, as this is not what i had expected to do!!!... this is a vadoSL. not the normal vado, which you just take the big battery-off!!!.. are you sure of my model???? as you said its easy??.IT IS NOT!!!!!!!!

I just get my SppedBox 3.0 for Specialized. I don't want a complicated setup. AFTER Installation, I just need to POWER ON - OFF - ON again. That's ALL? I no need to DO any EXTRA setting, That will make my SPECIALIZED to the DEFAULT setting of SpeedBox 3.0? What Next should I do? What is the NEW speed Limit now? Please explain. Hi. The only "complication" is that after installation, the e-bike must be turned off and on twice for calibration and tuning activation. After that, the tuning is still active with a preset max speed of 50 km/h. That's all. Hello. If you have a MasterMind TCU and you don't have an SL motor at the same time, SpeedBox 3.0 for Specialized will work and you don't have to change the display. If you can't set the tuning, can you describe where exactly you have a problem with the setting?
