How to make Fried Ikan Bilis with Onion & Chilli - A crispy & delicious snack!

It has a strong aroma of the ocean and gives the perfect bit of umami to local dishes! Fried ikan bills is of course a must-have with Nasi Lemak. It is also amazing when sprinkled over Fried Rice.
    This video shows you how to make the basic Fried Ikan Bilis, and then goes on to show you how to turn it into the perfect bar bite by adding onions and chillies to it.

    Ingredients:
    Ikan bilis 150g
    Ajinomoto 1/8 tsp (to fry ikan bilis & give it added crunch)
    Onions, medium 2
    Red Chilli padi 3
    Green Chilli padi 2 (optional)
    Salt 1/2 tsp (adjust to taste)
    Sugar 1/2 tsp (adjust to taste)

      Yes, ikan bilis and sambar is a great combination. I have another ikan bilis recipe that goes very well with sambar. I will post it someday.
