Every morning I get on the floor on my back and do about 10 minutes of excercises with weights. I bend my knees and do different arm exercises, crunches from side to side, With the weights over my head i do bicycle exercises. I satand and with the weights on my hips I squat. I am 67 and look much younger. I have had many injuries but I refuse to be disable. I believe that you should do what you can to stay strong and healthy. Stop depending on doctors and medicine. Eating healthy is key to your wellbeing and so is exercise.

      Stephanie,
Many mothers are alike, and they've no compassion; they don't (truly) love their children, and wouldn't know when their children are truly in pain. Compassion extends from true love!
One of my school friends (and neighbour) who was born with scoliosis had terrible pain as a teenager, and also to this very day! Her mom always told her that she was lazy and never treated her nicely as her siblings who didn't have health issues.
Not everyone who has made children is a mother! My siblings and I always felt sorry and helped her to complete her chores.

Why people lose so much lean body mass as they get older?
One reason is they’re not eating enough protein.
second reason is they’re eating the wrong sources of protein.
third reason is that they are not digesting their protein.

You cannot need supplementation if you are carnivore unless you have a disease or are just not eating or you are only eating one part of an animal or only eating white meat chicken and no dark meat.
There is a test for *total protein, albumin, and albumin/globulin (A/G) ratio* Albumin and globulin are two proteins that the liver produces. This test can reveal whether total protein levels are low and if albumin and globulin proteins are at optimal levels.

I have RA, fibromyalgia, diabetes, low back pain and high blood pressure. I take prednisone 5mg everyday. I changed my diet after getting RA and I have very little problems with RA. I got my sugar from 11.1 to 6.4 recently. I will be eating more meat. I was on Ozempic for a while, I quit that because I read it breaks down your muscle. I have hair loss. Anxiety, hard to lose weight. All my test came back normal except my sugar. I’m very forgetful. I did not connect all these health issues with lack of protein.
I am very fatigued after about 4:00 every day. I’m 71 and I don’t blame my ill health on age. I eat a pretty healthy diet, that’s why all my illnesses and medications has not have a real bad effect on me. My strength is very weak.

I would love to know more about this. I'm plagued by herpes simplex 1. Not sure if ur aware but Epstien Barr is a herpesvirus also. They claim they are benign skin viruses. That's what doctors are taught but if u read the studies as I have for over a decade, it's clear they are covering it up. I haven't been able to get any doctors or neurologists to give me a full viral panel so I know what else I have, like Epstien Barr. No idea if I have it. Most likely do. Everyone does is the excuse.
Cash cow. Latent viruses & some other pathogens like Lyme are the root of all inflammation imo. They want u to think "it's YOUR body attacking ITSELF". The pattern is, they always want to blame us, it's never environmental, it's never their fault, the chemicals everywhere, the viruses they refuse to acknowledge, the toxic food & medicines, stress of being one paycheck from homelessness. Couldn't possibly be they encouraged free love so a whole generation of babies get born with herpes. Hand raised here.
Then they give the false impression that condoms prevent all STDs. No, not herpes or warts. Oral sex defeats the purpose. I can't believe we still haven't seen the light on this. Then again I haven't taken sex ed in a long time. Although, it seems like sex Ed has gotten worse because people don't even know how HIV works anymore.
I feel like they are just teaching kids how to have sex, not the dangers of it like when I was a kid. They teached abstinence back then. Now they teach sex positions. How to do BJs. It's crazy. It's like they want everyone to get infected.

I got myself out of there armed with my blood work and headed straight to my doctor’s office. He opened the folder, looked at my blood work and in the time it takes to blink, he said, “you’re just low in potassium, go home and eat a banana!” I ask you, who are they hiring to work in emergency at night that they’re incapable of deciphering bloodwork. Things will just not be quite right but they can’t explain it. They go to the doctor and the doctor can’t find anything wrong. They just don’t feel right. Maybe have unexplained minor pains that come and go in different places. When I ask about their diet they are vegan, vegetarian, or eat very little animal products.

I was in stage 3A kidney failure. Doctors told me there’s nothing I can do about it. It’s part of being a diabetic they said.
I had been on a carnivore diet but realized I was not drinking enough water or getting enough electrolytes. I adjusted the diet.
I made sure I did not over stuff, I made sure I drank enough water and electrolytes, I’m still eating mostly meat diet with Low carb leafy greens vegetables added. (only added the vegetables because the doctors scared me into believing I was gonna die without them)
I eat NO carbs, sugar, fruit, grain, dairy, and in 6 months my EGFR went from 52.7 - 6.1 and then another three months its 6.3. My biggest challenge was to stop listening to Doctors tell me that the pyramid was the only way. NOPE!
Although I don’t agree with everything Dr. Bernstein writes, experimenting with food / what he wrote has helped me a lot.
I’m LADA Diabetic. On the carnivore diet I lost 4 inches around my waist in two months, my arthritis quit hurting, and I went from 17 units of tresiba to 6 units. My blood sugar readings were always between 80 and 110mg/dl.
Now the doctor scared the hell out of me and I’m on statins. All my bloodwork and blood pressure good. But My LDL is 288 but YT doctors say when you go on low carb diet your LDL’s going to skyrocket and don’t worry about it. Idk. I’ll stay on the statins (CoQ10 added) as long as I don’t show any side effects. But very soon I’m going back on the carnivore diet since adding in these few vegetables I’ve gained back 2 inches around my waist and now I’m up to 9 units of insulin. Don’t know why no carb leafy greens would do this but it has. Can’t tell doctors this, they wouldn’t believe me. All organic.

Collagen supplementation recently worked wonders for me - within a week; in recovering from intermittent pain in hips - especially upon weight bearing. Was also losing sleep at at night, because of pain in various positions... Now - painless - it feels as if in heaven when lying down.
To relieve pain and swelling in general, applying DMSO topically is often effective; working even better if Aloe vera gel is added. MSM powder can also be ingested; this in addition to Vit C, with the latter needed for collagen production. When it comes to bone pain, it could be as result of Vit D and/or other vit&mineral deficiencies. Previously I once was suffering from a painful restless leg type condition; this after drinking much water without replenishing minerals.

I was eating 3 eggs, sausage, bacon and ham, plus half a platter of hash browns for breakfast, double quarter pounder (no cheese, no mayonnaise), and a plain baked potatoe or salad with grilled chicken breast and unsweetened iced tea for lunch and another 8 ounces of meat for dinner or more 6 years ago. Gave up pop in 2011, fried food in 2015. Tapered off the meat and eggs after that till going whole food plant based in Nov 2020 which probably save my life (lost 10 pounds before getting sick [COVID-19 or flu?]). At a BMI above 35 the reports said I was 7 times more likely to end up in the hospital with COVID-19. Lack of protein was not the problem. Excess calories of any type turns to fat. Processed foods, potatoes, fruit juice, and alcohol are most likely to cause weight gain, but excess protein is either converted to fat or sugar or excreted by the kidneys. Protein raise insulin (but less than carbs), especially in excess. Maybe if I skipped the hamburger bun and added another piece of lettuce. Excess meat and saterated fats (including coconut and palm oils) is a major cause of high cholesterol.
If you do eat spaghetti (el dente) or pizza have salad first to prevent overeating trying to get nutrients that aren't there. My blood sugar is maybe a bit high with Whole wheat spaghetti, but normal the next morning, put beans, lentils, mushroom or meat in spaghetti sauce for better results and skip the sugar or go low sugar in the sauce.
Barilla's Protein+ spaghetti which has protein from lentils, chickpeas and peas is more balanced protein and lower glycemic. Spaghetti squash is a better choice than either of the above. Most breads, crackers, cakes and chips are poor choices (no yeast sourdough and german style pumpernickel are better - the denser and sourer the better). Peanut Butter on Rye or sourdough is balance protein. Every once in a while I find a no sugar added apple butter or jam (without artificial sweeteners). I try to limit bread or pasta to once a month on a day when I am more active. These breads should only have a few ingredients, no dough conditioners or sugars. Real sourdough does not have yeast in the ingredient list (wild yeast on the grain or starter culture and salt).

@@contrarymary76my thoughts exactly. If there is a will, there is a way. Many older folks just dont want to bother anymore. There is no need to cook daily either. I use an Instapot, or crock pot, or oven bag, cook a larger cut of meat, or two, then when it’s done, I immediately put most in hot sterilized mason jars, cover with sterilized lids and when it cools down, it’s sealed, I put in the fridge. I have variety of foods prepared this way, can decide what I want to eat each day. I can add sides of veg, or make something like burger patties fresh, when I desire. I take advantage of meat sales, do batch cooking maybe twice a month. Right now I have 5 different foods cooked, each has 2-3 or more portions. It last a long time, it’s vacuum sealed and in the fridge. No mess, with Instapot you can brown meat on sauté setting first and then pressure cook all in one pot. No pots and pans to clean up, besides few utensil and when done, the inside pot goes in to the dishwasher.😊 next I will try soups vide cooking for even more tenderness and juiciness. Nothing like a good home cooked food, you know exactly what you are eating too.

I'm pretty sure I don't take enough protein. Meat is so expensive these days and it's hard for me to get it from the plants. I try with mushrooms, eggs, fish and chickpeas. The affordable meat is ew and so over-processed. That's probably why my hair is falling out in strands. :( Thank you so much - love your videos!

Corn oil, or vegetable oil i heard makes your hair fall out. All those foods listed sounds like a pretty sound diet to me.

Take a good look at ethnicities that have awesome thick and healthy hair. Some eat a lot of yellow split peas, lentils, and various kinds of beans, with or without animal protein. They likely eat whole grains, not refined junk. Just my observations. 😊❤

28:00 I do understand that (maybe) body needs all three macronutrients (fat, carbs, protein), but I did not see evidence that it should (even roughly) be 33%-33%-33% as kind of optimal. For example, 2-stroke engines really need both gasoline and oil to work, but that does not mean that the ratio is 50%-50% (as many would know, typically it is 2%-98% in favour of gasoline). So, for 2 stroke engines we have evidence, where are evidences for 33%-33%-33%?

I am being told that the oxalates in vegetables are inflammatory. Some veggies are higher in oxalates, the lesser oxalate ones usually can be tolerated more easily and are ok. I am new to your channel, so do not know if you have already addressed this. I am a new carnivore, so may wish to add my veggies in later. BTW, since on the eating regimen, my health has improved greatly.

Sally K. Norton has an excellent book on oxalate. My health deteriorated eating a vegetable laden diet with no meat, eggs, and little dairy. Took many years but once it becomes apparent that the body won't heal and gets injured easily you change your diet real quick.

Tofu is NOT fermented. I wish it was. Unfermented soy is a goitrogen, and very bad for the thyroid, and has other issues as well.
Some examples of fermented soy are tempeh, miso, and natto.
