You need to stand still to see a BT, moving while using your scanner won't work. If you are close enough and don't move you can see them just floating in the mid-air.
Imagine doing this and not causing immediate voidout (not the game-ending one by some stray NPC, but a small repatriate voidout by yourself) to clean the pests' camp for good!
it gets worse when you kill them and leave the corpse long enough to complete 3 request order , the corpse doesn't become BT but creates a voinout or big explosion that you can't revive or your save history is lost then you are forced to play your last save load
Thats it? I had to run for like an hour up the hill with a body on my back to burn it, because i thought he was going to blow up and create a giant crater...
I honestly thought there would be a void out before there would be a chance for a Mule to become a BT. Can a void out still happen in Mule territory? I've always wanted to kill Mules but Die-Hardman made me too scared to try. 🤣

Thank you! After I accidentally killed one I ran to the incinerator. I was curious to see what happened if you didn't.
DO NOT KILL MULES. I had to drop everything and travel to the area where I killed one, then transport it ALL THE WAY to an incinerator.
what if you left a body near a mule camp, will the bt attack the mules?
I will keep on killing this is better than void out, this is the better way farming Chiral Crystals

I thought this would trigger a voidout. I guess that just happens when a BT eats a living human being.

This makes me wonder, what happens if you kill a mule, let the body stay in the camp, and let it make a voidout while you are somwhere else?
