Keep up doing these videos! Interesting stuff
The woman (16-17 min in) is correct, you do bring politics into / interviews, conversations.
Gold... 😆 'Merica.
Hi Peter if your ever in Montana again come to the Rez in Browning. Home of the Blackfeet Indians. Love your videos ♥️
Peter, by any chance could you tell me who did the trip hop-type music that begins at 38:45? Cool stuff. And your videos, as usual, are top notch. I enjoy your work.
In a world where "journalists" rarely let people speak for themselves, your approach is refreshing and engaging. Thanks Peter!
Peter doesn’t consider himself a journalist, but I’m sure that he appreciates your comment.
he ain't no journalist 😂
Again stupid reaction. Is a driftent between a UA-camr and journalist..
This is incredible, actually engaging with fellow Americans. Rather than writing smear pieces on everyone
But take about 50% of what Kathy said as factual. 😅
Shout out to the young dudes with the trucks. Awesome to see hard working youth with a solid plan just ready to tackle life!
Very impressive!

I loved listening to those young men! Proud to say I have 2 grandsons with same attitudes. They work hard and love what they do in Kansas. Good Bank accounts for future❤
I love how Kathy at the end making sure you go out safe and where to go, it’s like a mom that has a hard time saying goodbye and wants to make sure you get home safe
Kathy was the actual best I could watch her tell stories for hours and hours
Peter your non-judgmental vibe, easy going nature & openness to other cultures, gives complete strangers comfort to share their lives w you & that's what makes your channel special.
my thoughts exactly
Kind of like him fishing with that Budlight question to the obvious Trump supporter…yeah non-judgmental
@@jasonkav Your pro-groomer judgmental attitude is obvious.
It's definitely a gift. Peter makes it look easy, but getting other people to open up to you is not always easy.
@@jasonkav But hes not getting in a debate. He just lets them talk. Whats judgemental about that? Sure she sounds stupid. But hes not telling her she is.
Those young men at the end just made my day! Respectful, clear-headed, hard-working...you know they were raised right!
I was just saying the same thing!
Yes! They were!
I can't believe how young they were. The 19 year old was the eldest one of the 3. Such cool kids. Lol, and they all had their own trucks.
@justinbryson352 that's called daddy's money 😂
@@SPAZit101 No, it's called income
After her saying the springs were closed for the “pupfish” (around 15:50) it sent me on a fascinating rabbit hole about the devils hole pupfish. Really an interesting story of an endangered little killifish that has survived thru thick n thin
I love the bar owner. She’s cool! Looks awesome for 75. Whatever she’s doin is workin’! Thank you for sharing. ❤
I'm from Poland and this scenery is so surreal I didn't know America looked like that it's so pretty
Check out Magnus Mitdbo climbing with Alex Honnold, that is some crazy scenery!
Usa has tons of beautiful places, we also have every climate type.
Tez jestem Polakiem i przeprowadziłem do Las Vegas dwa lat temu. Tutaj widoki są wspaniałe. Jeździłem na rowerze w tamtych górach gdzie tutaj pokazane ze śniegiem w zeszłym latem i spotkałem Jan Błachowicz w pustym lesie. On często przyjeżdża tutaj na walki z Polski i spędza czas w górach. Tutaj trzymają z jednych najpiękniejsze widoki w całym świecie. Dużo nie pokazane w tym filmu
I don’t think the rest of the world truly thinks about how “young” America really is…and how undeveloped America is, outside the coastal areas
@@snowwilliams1 I think most big countries are like that as well. Also the usa is 247 years old, i wouldn’t call that young, there are plenty of way newer countries out there like Kosovo, Croatia, south Sudan etc.
Shout out to the wholesome, hardworking teenagers at the end of the video! 🎉 Bravo parents who raised them!
Right
Those kids at the end were a breath of fresh air, huge respect to them and that mindset.
I was born in France, lived in England and ended up moving to Las Vegas 14 years ago. This is where my kids were born, where I became American. I'm a Route 91 survivor, I am a Golden Knights season ticket holder and superfan, I go to Lee Canyon Ski Resort every weekend during the season, I absolutely love this town and our community. Go for it and get out there! You'll be rewarded.
People are fascinated by accents everywhere. If you're cool like Peter, people will want you to have a good experience. The biggest cities are much less like this, though, so stick to places that aren't so packed that everyone is used to seeing new people every second of every day. Life seems cheaper in the biggest cities, in my opinion, but they have their upsides too. There are infinite small towns that love to see decent passersby.
Nothing to fear in the US
@@josephm6320 I think that is an oversimplification or assumption. Yes the U.S. is safer than most places but that also depends greatly on your demographic and location.
Phrayd, dont let the big mainstream media scare you. The US is a safe place to visit.
Peter I want to tell you how very much I appreciate you !! I'm disabled I don't get out often and when I do the furthest I go is the next town over from where I live in good ol Kennebunk Maine. You are literally the best thing that's happened to the internet in quite a looong time. Thank you for letting us here in Cyperspace to follow you on this journey around the world. Kudos to you for your dedication and being an amazing HUMAN.
I’m really impressed with those young guys, talk about having a head on their shoulders, the way they were expressing themselves is what we try to inculcate into our own sons…👍👍Excellent video Peter👍👍👍👍
I moved here in 2021 from the east coast. Each local suburb part of the city has its own vibe and culture. The mountains are so diverse and there’s so much to do. I have a picture of me holding snow with the strip in the background in late JUNE! You can bike ride on endless trails in Red Rock, 1 hour downhill. And the best part is the strip keeps tourists distracted away from some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, so you can always find your quiet space in “heaven.”
That's great! I was born and raised in the east side of the Seattle area, live in Phnom Penh Cambodia at the moment. I think if I move back to the US, my choice is going to be in Las Vegas.
Impressed by the young guys at the end....focused...dedicataed & hard working.
Nevada Gold is a helluva life ❤
It's so nice to see and hear about these places and people are already coming there - but still there's a part of me saying - no! Please dont tell the world !
I just know Ms. Katy was a heartbreaker in her day. Another awesome video Peter! You’re the man!
Those kids at the end are so sweet!
Your series really makes me miss the road. I used to drive all over the country in the music business and have been to 46 of the lower 48. Meeting random people and seeing the random things along the way is the best part. Once you get away from the big cities you get reminded that there are still a lot of really good people that still believe in our country.
Couldn't have said it better. Moved from the City of Pittsburgh to the Appalachian Mountains in South Central Pennsylvania Somerset Pa 💓. So many great people in this little mountain town 😁🥰

Crystal Nevada looks like the town cousin Eddie would get supplies at in "Vegas vacation" 😂
Last year my wife and I visited Las Vegas and Los Angeles. During that time, we drove from Las Vegas to Death Valley and then back to Las Vegas. And the we drove from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, spent about 5 days in Los Angeles, and the drove back to Las Vegas. I can say from experience, Peter is 100% correct. The Mojave Desert is so beautiful that it’s borderline majestic. I lost track of how many times we would be driving, and we would just pull over to take pictures and just embrace the beauty of the desert.
Peter met some real gems out there in the rural Nevada desert! Their honesty was refreshing!
Peter is honestly the effing man just does exactly as he says gives you the alternative perspective that you can only get from the individual that is going through it. Peter i thank you for all of these videos you give not only me but the world. Giving a voice to those who have no means of reaching outside of their world. Simply thank you
Thank you for taking me to places I would never be able to, and being so real and human with everyone you interact with! You seem like a cool guy to hang with!
Respect to those young kids, working hard and making bags. You’ve got to be pretty driven to do that out in the middle of nowhere with all the tweakers and succeed. Kudos to those those young-ins
That's why they put bordellos out in the middle of nowhere, where all the miners and drillers work.
@@jew_world_orderIt's because it's not legal in Clark County. It's tourists from Vegas using those brothels, not locals.

I've been completely blown away by all of your videos! In your videos, I've listened to people with whom I'd normally expect I'd fundamentally disagree with, but I'm gaining empathy and it's teaching me to listen and understand their side of the story. Really eye opening!
Peter, so encouraging to listen to the three young men with the trucks! For them to already understand their purpose and passion for the mining industry was refreshing to witness! Excellent Peter. Thank you!
Love this show. Love your journalism Peter. So respectful.
I love Kathy, she’s one tough cookie, I wish more women were like her !
This was a really fun one! I loved the woman that owned the bar. Lots of stories, lots of experience. And those three young men. It's refreshing to see them with their trucks and they know what they want in life. The scenery was surprisingly beautiful. I'm not a desert guy, but it just seemed to serene there.
If you ever have a chance to visit, Death Valley National Park is amazing. Don't go between April 1st and October 1st - it's too hot and dangerous too, if your vehicle were to break down and strand you somewhere in 120°F heat you would be in serious trouble - but in the November to February peak season, Death Valley is beautiful. Try to have a 4WD vehicle with all-terrain tires when you visit, and explore some of the back country on the dirt roads in the Park.
I never thought I was a desert guy. Give me green forests and water, but I spent some time camping out in the desert and it just blew me away. You've never experienced quiet like that - rarely even a bird song. Beauty on a whole different level. Look at that sky!
Recently came across your channel and I am truly enjoying it. I saw a video with you explaining your journey to where you are now and its truly an inspiration. Thank you!
I love the way that you let the people you meet take the lead, and just go with the flow.
When you have friends/family support you when you have that kind of job, you know they really love you.

That snow place certainly surprised me, Peter is getting better and better with showing us different perspectives in lifes, AS IS, without his angle or someones angles. That definitely earns respect!
Lee Canyon is a tiny ski resort. Not worth it IMO. It's 3 hours to Brian Head UT, or Mammoth Mountain CA. Both much larger and quality resorts, better terrain.
As someone who lived in Vegas for 44 years I really appreciate your coverage of the area. I'm only 90 miles away now but I miss Vegas. There's really no place like it on earth. There's a local UA-camr called Wonderhussy and she's a real character. She lived in Vegas but moved to a compound in Death Valley. It would be cool for you guys to do a video together.
I love Sarah Jane! Peter did a nice job covering multiple topics in just a couple videos. I’ve lived here for 35 years and learn something new every time I watch WH. But Peter educated me a little, also!
The entire time he was filming this episode I thought
Oh god go meet Wonderhussy !!

Best thing we found about our trip to Vegas last summer, getting into the trails in the Spring Mountains/ Mount Charlotte where this ski resort is. We walked up to Mary Jane Falls, lovely scenery.
Your videos are top notch, on a whole another level. Quality stuff for sure.
I have lived in far northwest Vegas since 2014 but getting outside of Vegas is my favorite part. Loved to see the young guys at the end of the video with a life plan and clear heads.
The eloquence of the lady who works in the brothel is astonishing. Humans should start to realize that there are some very different side of the stories.
This video was very informative. The people you interviewed love their lives. Great stuff
I don't watch every episode Peter but I gotta tell you this one is super special. Great job
Wow Peter! I've been following you for a few years; and I have to say, this is one of my favorites. My great grandparents and grandparents mined Colorado gold in the 1800s and early 20th century. And my dad graduated from the School of Mines in Golden Colo. So those young miners really touched my heart. Let's hope the young ladies in their lives recognize true gold when they see it! And I love Gwen and Kathy and the brothel ladies!
Small world. My dad mined in Leadville before I was born. Colorado is full of mines of not blu gold but many, many other minerals.
my wife and I stayed in Furnace Creek, Death Valley March, 2023 and made a trip to Ryholite. It was an almost spiritual experience "listening" to the quiet. Not another soul was around for the hour or so and it made for a peaceful end to our trip from crowded, noisy NJ. So thankful for your efforts Peter...consider a trip to the famous NJ Pine Barrens...lots of legend, lore and interesting places and people...I can suggest a local guide....
What a great video - the wife and I went to Vegas in April and loved it, but we had no idea about what was just outside of it. The Nevada desert was beautiful and full of surprises. Seeing this video makes me want to come back and explore all over again.
The total honesty of the young woman in the brothel was so honest as was the manager she came across as really understanding the ladies

Being a city boy this stuff is all so fascinating to me. I’m sitting here watching this wishing I was raised in a village instead of a wild city like Chicago.
You're never too old to start something new.
My favorite episode so far. To be real I’ve loved each and every single one I’ve seen before, but for some reason, this one hits a little harder for me, I think because of the strength and authenticity of the women that are being interviewed.
Great videos. I just gotta say the sky behind you when you were at Cook Bank was absolutely amazing.
I lived in Vegas (Summerlin, next to Red Rock Casino) for three years before returning to the East Coast. I used to tell people that the only thing I loved about Vegas was when I was facing AWAY from it. I really do miss my weekly mountain biking around Blue Diamond, and my road biking on Red Rock Canyon road. Watching this video also reminded me of my trips to Pahrump and beyond. Beautiful, PEACEFUL part of this country. That said, I love my trees, grass, and woods where I live now.
I grew up in Henderson and can't speak to the volume of how great the transparency of the people's point of view there has been in the last two videos. Thank you for never setting a narrative and just letting the experience flow.
