A game where you hunt down giant gentle beasts, being misled that this would save your loved one…
It’s such a sad, and not well understood part of the story
Very few people would even recognize the game, let alone realize how absolutely terrible it is that he is even playing it
Dude is trying so hard to bring them back
He can’t mourn
underated comment. as a fan of shadow of the colossus, that let the game define his entire 19 to 31 year old life it is is a breath of fresh air to read a comment such as yours.
Loved the game then watched the movie and really enjoyed it. but it wasn't until recently that i misunderstood the message of the game. try as we will and try as we might; we can't win back something that is lost. unfortunately it took me 12 years of my life to realize this.

It’s a really underrated game, and I only recently found this film
Blown away by the story, and the excellent performance from everyone, especially from Mr. Sandler
I was overly critical of the man in my early 20s
Not realizing he makes stupid movies so he could spread his wealth to his buddies without making it seem like he was giving them a handout

Easily one of my favorite games, one so beautiful that it's easy to forget the profound sadness and desperation underlying it
whenever i tell people about serious Adam, i tell them about this. such an amazing movie.
I really loved this film. They both rrally needed each other and im glad they were able to help eachother. Always makes me cry because it reminds me of my mentally ill step brother.
Underrated Adam Sandler movie....

Great movie. How do you even begin to help someone who's gone thru that loss?
I lost my sister to a murder and my best friend to suicide. You don't help someone unless they request it. Otherwise they have to find their own way until then.

@@vinniefabian6816 its been about 13 years since those events. It wasn't until recently, that I have started to move past the trauma and pain and seek the help of others. I hated people and closed myself off from having any sort of relationship.

@@thesilentcartographer5575 I hear ya, I didn't go through anything as rough as you did..but when my mom got cancer it flipped my world around and I just didn't want to do anything with the outside world, and shut myself off from my friends and just doomscrolling the internet all day as my coping mechanism. My mom is okay btw thankfully. But that lingering depression is still here, but I am making efforts recently to get out of it. I hope things work out for you and you get through this 🙂
