I guess im one that likes this version best, it just feels lighter, happier and more upbeat to me, and i agree Adam is simply amazing. Man am i gonna miss hearing Austin's voice. But we got a while to go with him so im gonna enjoy every minute of it
My favorite version of this. I love how that red light makes them all look so sweetly Luciferous. And Tim's little smile at the end definitely says "Yes, I'm up to something". And I like that they gave a nod to the pickups from the first version.
The last note of Tim's... wow! I think I prefer the 1st version, but, hey, it's Home Free! They're all good!!!
When they performed this on the Sing Off I knew they would win the show. I love this version because it has Chance and it shows how time and experience has just improved their abilities.
This song has always been a fan favorite. What a great remake of "Ring Of Fire". It was first done on the "Sing Off" in 2013 & then later with Avi Kaplan. The visuals reminds me of "Fishin' In The Dark"/"Boondocks". Chance is a nice addition to this version. Of course love Tim's lows & Adam's awesome vocal percussion. I think he sounds even better this time.
HF had come out with a new CD called As Seen On TV, and it was done for the 10 year anniversary of all the songs they did on the Sing Off and include Chance in all the update versions of all the songs on the CD, in which Chris was in all of the original videos. In this version Chance does the part that Avi did in the original video, but since Avi was a featured guest and not a member of HF, it seems appropriate that the did their own updated version featuring all current members. HF is coming out with another CD on March 30, and Austin will tour with HF until the fall tour ends, then plans to be home with Amberly for Christmas holidays.

They did this over 10 yrs ago on the sing off show. Then with Avi Kaplan shortly after, when Chris was in the group. They recently released their album "As Seen On TV", doing updated versions of their sing off performances. This was episode 3, I believe. ❤
Three versions, each amazing. Each has it's winning aspect, each arrangement similar but vastly different at the same time. I'm gonna go with this last one, as it makes me happy as well as simply enthralled. Tim has earned that sly grin on his closing note.

The first one was on The Sing Off. I agree that was the best one
I think this version is better, personally. One of the many reasons why I like it better is that Tim nails the sh*t out of that note at the end in this one and seems to sustain it even longer. I don't know if that's just me, but I think the tone and clarity is better now. Is it the production? I don't know, but I'd like to think it's just because he has gotten even better with time. The note less breathy now, with more vocal fold closure, which just comes with honing his skill over the years, imo. My favorite version is still from the Sing-Off just because it's live and it was the first time I had ever heard such an amazing arrangement with these amazing singers. Are you meaning the their Sing-Off performance or the studio version which featured Avi? In my opinion, The Sing-Off version is better. I prefer this new version because it includes Chance. It's also closest to how they perform it live.
I prefer this one because Chance gets to shine here. Rupp might be the MVP here
And, I've never said it outloud, but the high tenor sound toward the end seems out of place in this song.
Love me some high tenor, just not in this song.
