Austin is one part, but there are four incredibly talented members remaining!
3rd recorded performance, 3td upgrade to their upgrade! The new, happy upbeat version is a testament to how good this song was to start with. Chance's bass is superb, the beatboxing even better than before, and Home Free brings it home again. Great reaction.
You must see their mashup of Fishing in the Dark/Boondocks. Two great songs in an incredible arrangement and an even better animated video.
This is so very awesome. Tim's last note vibrated me from my seat. Austin will be missed. He will still be doing things with Home Free now and again and is starting his solo career. He has to follow his heart and his dreams. Love your reaction, and yes Johnny Cash would be so very proud!
This one is phenomenal! It’s brilliant! Love it! Been a Home Fry since their first show on the Sing Off! That performance, I believe, clinched the win for that season. This video is so outstanding and shows their growth since then. Loved Tim’s expression at the end, and of course, that note! Also loved your reaction. So sorry about your grandfather.
Adam really turned up the beatboxing on this version. And having Chance on the bass line is great, too. People tend to forget that he IS a bass simply because he replaced a baritone.
Austin leaving IS a big deal. But watching him talk about being HOME and still being able to create music, you just know it is the right thing for him at this point in time - and therefore for HF, too.

When they performed this on the Sing Off I knew they would win. I really like this version because it has Chance and shows time and experience have done amazing things for them. I have no doubt Austin and the guys will pick the perfect addition to Home Free just like they did when Chris left and they gave us Chance. I'd much rather see Austin happy and fulfilled than watch his special light fade because he didn't do what he felt was right. Thanks for the Home Free reactions.

Don't shoot me, but I've never been a fan of this song - by anyone. But this makes me go "Woot!!!!!" Great harmonies. Fabulous percussion. And, of course, that bass. Yum. And I do like the little nod to their original video with the pickups. And the red light makes them all look so sweetly Luciferous - especially in the ending. Love it.

You should check out the version with Avi Kaplan (from: Pentatonix - another a capella group who he left) Two bases in this song?? It's amazing!!!
Yes, it’s great with Avi but there are two basses in this version too.
All will be fine they will replace seamlessly like they did with Adam Chance when Chris Rupp left.
This song has always been a fan favorite. What a great remake of "Ring Of Fire". It was first done on the "Sing Off" in 2013 & then later with Avi Kaplan. The visuals reminds me of "Fishin' In The Dark"/"Boondocks" (you may want to check that one out). Chance is a nice addition to this version. Of course love Tim's lows & Adam's awesome vocal percussion. I think he sounds even better on this one.

Sad but i understand him wanting to be home more starting a family. But im not worried, when chris left and chance joing he brought much to the group. We probably wouldnt have our wonderful shanties if not for gim joining. So im sure whoever takes austins spot will bring something to the group too

I'm not as keen on this new version. It sounds overly produced and has too many effects on the voices. I prefer the older version of Ring of Fire featuring Avi Kaplan.
