After trying many shotguns for my boy for state trap competition the gunsmith and instructor on site one day helped us fit a gun for my boy. We had purchased a Barretta trap and field over and under. He was one of our top shooters and the Barretta didn't seem to help in fact his score started to drop. He could hit with my Barretta 626 but it was 26" side by and better for sporting clays .We also were told to stay away from side by sides . We brought the over and under to the gunsmith at an event . He had my boy swing it and handed it back and said what else do you have? I had purchased a 100 year old LC Smith field grade full chokes 30" barrels in beautiful condition and had it with. The gun smith and ex trap champ champ said bring it in . Right away after my boy swinging it he said " Perfect now go shoot it " He went out and shot two perfect twenty fives . He moved to the top gun and we took state . After the tough shooting it only loosened one screw slightly. We sold the Barretta over and under . I'll never sell the LC Smith .
Besides hunting double barrel shotguns were very popular during the Wild West specifically the Coach gun

Have you a video with the 12 gage double shotgun with engraving with deer.? I used someones at a gun club shooting skeet contest and I cant rememberv what the year it was made and its worth? I believe it was a Remington although it could have been another make? I was shopping for a skeet gun at that time and was wondering how much it would be today? Curious. Thanks
