Slow motion camera is great addition! If you want to get even better shots with it try using really wide aspect ratio. Something like 1240x300 for example. Usually when shooting things happen on relatively narrow part of the screen so saving all the pixels where nothing is really happening just limits your recording speed.
u da real MVP.... *this* ^^^^^ very much *this*.... i want all the splosions but i also wanna see that slug hit em
@@hazennelson4057 Why? You can just melt the whole thing on your kitchen stove.
I didn't expect y'all to show up on a Kentucky video, nonetheless with some advice
Scott: *almost dies shooting large calibers*
Also Scott: *makes his content almost exclusively large bores and calibers*
You have balls of brass, my dude.
Scott there’s an easier way to pull both triggers at once, put an empty shell between the triggers and pull, it’ll be way smoother and save the skin on your knuckles
A friend of mine just got a new 22LR rifle, his exact words were, 'so accurate you could hammer in a nail at a 100 feet' sounds like a challenge to me
Once I owned a 1942 browning .22 LR pump ,model 62 A improved safety…and it could darn well hit a nats eye at 100 paces,
My old marlin i inherited from my grandfather i routinely drive in nails at 100yds with an old bushnell 4x scope.
@@chickenmaster7069 my new smith and wesson 22 a/1 couldnt hot the boradside of a barn
Still one of my favorite calibers ! Hands down effective at range and almost pin point accurate !
The fact that after his accident he still can tank recoil. This guy is a beast
It's true. Scott's a freakin' cyborg. I'd bet he could shoulder fire the 120mm cannon off an M1A tank for chrissakes.
I honestly am in amazement you could find 10ga shells, especially heavy artillery. I remember shooting a 10ga that belonged to my friends dad. It was definitely a shoulder Whopper but a lot of fun
They’re available all over the internet in multiple loadings and All my local shops have ammo for it. What’s really hard to find in store is 24 and 32 gauge ammo. Just federal and fiocchi and rio load them but you almost have to order it.
The sound two bullets make interacting with each other in the air is otherworldly 4:09
My Dad used to hunt geese back in the 70's with a 10 gauge. The big advantage was the extra range you got with it. It would be interesting to see a test done between a 10 and 12 at different ranges.
It's the patterning of big shot. I still shoot geese with a 10(like 2 hrs ago), and it patterns BBB and T phenomenal. The big shot carries energy further, the 10 gauge places more on target at longer range
Yup, you can hear 12ga 3in shells bounce off of geese if they're too high. But that 10ga 3 1/2in BBB will fold them up nicely.
The buckshot was spreading really quickly. Depending a bit on shot cup design, buffering, etc., higher velocities tend to do that. It's probably worse with unplated lead shot, though. 12 gauge Federal Tactical Flite Control 00B would have a longer useful range for buckshot because it's plated, uses a shot cup that doesn't separate for around 15 yards downrange, and is a bit lower velocity, which tends to give tighter groups in and of itself.
@@deathbylaxitive7 we pattern our 10s at 50 yds. Ts and TTs put around 50 in a 30in circle. The choke is 18thousands under bore. Or a light modified. Patterning tells the story. Big shot rules the sky in a ten.
@@grumpyshumpy The 12ga 3" has the same energy as a 10ga 3.5" given same size shot. The only advantage to a 10ga is it has more shot per shot, not more energy.
I love when Scott uses these huge rifles and hand guns. He’s already faced death with the .50 BMG slap round and won. The grim reaper couldn’t handle this man. Now he’s back stronger than ever taking on the highest calibers he can get his hands on.
10ga is like a fly swatter compared to a SLAP round :P BUT I agree - guy's a beast and the internet would not be the same without him :D
He keeps using bigger guns to scare the reaper. Do YOU want to go get a man who shoots himself with a .50BMG and has a 700 nitro handy?
The slow mo on the food products and especially the recoil is absolutely amazing!! Great job Scott!! Glad to see you really bk to yourself!!
Track ppl: "We do the hammer toss"
KB: "That's cute" *throws table then drags it behind truck*
I have to say, that 700 nitro express hitting that level 4 plate was amazing to see. I dont think anyone would survive the blunt force trauma. Get one of those ballistic torsos with the organs in it and hit one with no plate with the 700 nitro and 10 gauge and then put a level 4 plate and hit it with the 10 gauge and 700 nitro and see what internal damage is done. Your videos are so epic Scott, you are the man! 😎👍🤘🇺🇸💪
yeah, honestly if someone survives a hit like that, they effectively won a lottery(and a massive hospital bill)...
10 gauge slug vs. 700 nitro express, which is the better elephant gun?
@@crazysilly2914 700 nitro express... bigger slug=more devastation=good stuff...
They wouldn't have survived. Blunt force trauma on the back side of the armor is part of the NIJ rating system, which is why Level IV isn't rated for .700 Nitro Express.
@@immikeurnot They should convert a Ma Duece to shoot .700 Nitro. 50. Cal is like a 5.7x28, whereas .700 Nitro is a 45. ACP
What I love about your channel is that you really enjoy doing these videos, that 10 gauge shotgun is an absolute beast! Vaporized everything you put in front of it.
I have always preferred the 10 gauge but no one ever talks about it until you're video. Similar to the upgraded 30-06 which is also my favorite rifle caliber.
You're responses before and after shooting things is how most people feel whole shooting but seldom verbalize it.🤣 Great video!👍
As my Grandfather always said:
"The bigger the gun, the bigger the fun!"
Most people and I’m not joking , with Scott’s accident and injury would have been out for at the minimum 6 months to a year or more . The rate of speed that this man recovered and is back shooting these types of firearms is absolutely amazing. I was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma and did 3 years of chemo and treatment and never puked or lost weight in fact I gained it due to the prednisone. I’m now 5 years in remission and back to normal . I thought I was a badass Scott’s the real badass I’m truly amazed
@@whereipostmyclips7963 thank you I appreciate that , I was diagnosed the same month I lost my mother to small cell lung cancer. I was ready to fight I refused to let it do what it did to my mother . Chemo destroyed my mother more than anything. I’m a father of 5 and been with my wife for 24 years since we were 13 there isn’t anything I wouldn’t fight for my family . When the doctor walked in and said what I was diagnosed with everyone started crying and I was just ready to start fighting. I’m thankful to be in remission I just had my yearly checkup and still good to go , I take supplements and vitamins now to help keep it away .
It was just a flesh wound...you're giving him too much credit.
having just gotten a 10 gauge single i cant wait, watching your videos always makes me laugh and the truck part makes this 72yr old think of my boyhood craziness...thank you thank you!!
Love the new Hoodie.
I needed this today. Thank you so much Scott.
Love from Liverpool UK
That 00 buck looked like 2-20MM zipped right through the door. That’s a crazy gauge. And the cheese explosion looked liked Old Faithful blowing it’s top. Great video, Scott.
So imagine a 12 gauge is 12mm so yea lmao 10 gauge is so much fun I love mine

i love how scott is just so happy and hyper and running around with kid energy(5:31) even after being blown up by a 50cal not even too long ago. very glad Scott is doing great!
Just watching this man enjoying life makes me short of breath and i start to develop a shoulder bruise.
You mean the 50 cal being blown up by Scott. Only one survived. He won. Just had to put a thumb in it.

Thank you for the 10gauge goodness, no one in New Zealand has a 10 gauge.
The largest load delivery we have down here is 3 1/2 inch 12 gauge magnums I believe.
Even finding a shotty to take that round is difficult.
This is the best eddited video I've seen in your channel, well shot and super random. Thumbs up dude.
As a mechanic, I've often wanted to do that to a few PT Cruisers and other Chrysler products myself.
Very good video.
Thank you.
I love how Scott always sets up the table with such care and finesse. and take down was a snap!... seriously that was a pretty epic take down of the table:)
Maybe some portraits of "beloved" Democrat figures and soy drenched, Hollywood types in the public sphere....
I love the 10 ga video. I’m curious to see what a high-velocity waterfowl load would do compared to the buckshot and slugs. Also, I’d love to see what the 10 would do to a bucket of joint compound.
Epic. Loved it, enjoyed your energy haha. Nice table you got there too 😂
Man, that table yank with the truck looked like it came straight out of a cartoon 🤣
Gotta love 10 gauge. It's a great looking shotgun
Very entertaining video, as usual! Love the new slo-mo video cam shots...
Great vid. I loved the table tied to the truck with the long rope. Exit stage left!
When in my teens, one of my buddies was helping his parents clean out part of their barn they didn't use often and they found his grandfather's double barrelled 10 gauge. They just disposed of it. I was a bit upset, since one of my cousins was a gunsmith and I think it could have been restored. Cool video of its power.
Some people are born stupid and never change. Then they become anti gunners and vote for Biden lol. I feel ur pain my friend, I'm sure it could've been saved as well.
Half a lifetime ago, when I was 30, I'd have joined you. Today it's fun to watch you take the pounding by yourself. Thanks for the entertainment.
Quite the gun that is. I've learned to apretiate double rifles and double barrel shotguns for the work that goes into them. So beautiful, they are like works of art!
We need a Discovery Channel show of Scott hunting prehistory's biggest terrestrial predators with his 700 and double 10.
Exactily 🤣🤣🤣... i already have the title of the film: jurassic hunt, Scott revenge
Wait, are we limited to just terrestrial? I wanna see what the 7 hundo will do to a martian
That thing is sweet, and quite classy-looking as well. It would be pretty cool if you could hunt down an 8 guage to go with it. Also, have you tried shooting frozen water melons? It might be interesting to see the difference in frozen vs not frozen melons on the slow-mo.
The 10 needs to make a comeback in popularity
Love the slow mo. What a crazy load of energy the gun kicks out. Love the targets too. The table and pineapples and concrete and ofcourse the car/s! And the watermelons in some videos😂 Keep up the awesome vids!!!
I remember couple decades back as a high-schooler me and some buddies went to my "great uncles" (no relation) place in Arkansas to camp and hike. On the last day of the trip he brought out his side by side 10g shotty and we all had a go with pulling both triggers on 00 buck. My skinny teenager self got knocked flat on his back! lol good times thanks for the video. RIP uncle Pete.
Back in the late 60s my dad went out to western Ks with his brother-in-law to hunt pheasants. My dad's shotgun broke while they were out there and it happened to be that my uncle brought his Winchester M1901 10 gauge as a backup shotgun. Steel butt plate, no recoil pad. My dad finished the weekend using that beast and when they were done hunting, dad said his shoulder was black and blue and it hurt like hades.
And those are just light loads. Imagine 10ga with 00 buck loaded hot. Better hold on buttercup.
@@grumpyshumpy I’ve heard of story’s of people who shot a 10 gauge with double 00 buck and breaking collar bones or dislocating shoulders! Any truth to that?
The class of a lever action shotgun with 2-5/8" surpasses all. My Dad grew up killing geese, ducks and deer with a 1901 and the 1887 12 gauge.
I am glad to see you in a good shape Scott :-) you work is just amazing and you are having so much fun...I am loving it :-)
Man that truck is awesome. Like my dream truck man. It's wild to see how powerful those slugs are. Great vid ky👏🔥
Finally showing a PT cruiser the respect it deserves lol
The speed at which that table snapped out of frame had me rolling. It was like a cartoon.
Good shooting. Staying on target even with that mad recoil shot after shot!

I use to hunt geese with the ten gauge. It would easily bring those big honkers down. Scott, you have way more fun than any man should have!! 🤣🤣🤣 Loved your video.
You should have seen the liberal women that dispersed after I tooted in line at Target. Now that's fun.
Absolutely beautiful. I want to see the 700 nitro and this double barrel in slow mo versus garand thumbs ballistic dummies and heads, who's with me?
Love the slow-mo! Great addition to the production value!
That was awesome!!! Especially that part with that truck at the end. Maybe try grabbing some ballistic gel and shooting it with that slug, that would be cool!
Glad to see you are back to 100% now. That was a messed up freak accident that you went through

One day Scott is going to see eggplants sprouting up all over his range, I hope he’ll be ok and it doesn’t cause him anger issues.
Oh he'll have anger issues for sure because.......Nobody Likes Eggplants!!!

Being able to see the angry swarm of pellets headed down range on the slow-mo is pretty awesome.
Scott, that 10 Guage, in a word, is --" SENSATIONAL!!!!
I grew up on the Eastern shore of Maryland and waterfowl hunting was a way life and in my family goose hunting was done primarily with 10ga shotguns. Additionally in parts of Europe up until the 1980’s I have been told by friends who lived in Spain and Italy that the 10ga was pretty much the shotgun of choice as it also was in the American west in 1800’s and first part of the 20th century. Just a FYI the Indiana state police used a 10ga shotgun for decades and it was given the nickname “the roadblocker”
Scott has wised up now and stands farther back when shooting condiments..lol..great vid!
I love the 10 gauge. It's interesting to me that when it came out, the regular load was 1 1/8 ounce of shot in a 2 7/8" shell., and the 12 gauge was 7/8 ounce of shot in a 2 1/2" shell. Each is now the "normal" load in the next smaller gauge shotgun. Shows how advances in propellants improved the ballistics of modern firearms!
It is mainly due to improvements in metallurgy that allows for the pressures.
When the ten gauge 'came out'? Are you more than a century old? Sorry but there's even eight gauge and bigger, a smooth barrel firearm is a pretty old invention.
@@newoneinblack 8 gauge and bigger went obsolete in the late 1800’s my guy
The 16 gauge load was 1 ounce. 10 gauge was generally 1 1/4. 12 gauge was 1 1/8. Today the 16 gauge can shoot 1 3/8 ounce at 1200 easily. 20 gauge was 7/8, 24 was 11/16, 32 was 5/8, 410 was 1/2. I’ve got at least 1 gun in every gauge.
@@newoneinblack I believe that the largest was the 4 guage although it was so powerful that the guns were mounted on a boat and moved to where the ducks were.
6:12-“hits like a freight train”.
God, you just made me crack up! Nearly died of laughter!
Scott's laughter is very contagious 🤣
Made my weekend to see "Watermelon Time" was back and you hit that table so hard it's entire family felt it!!!
That 10-gauge was awesome! I'm really liking the big bore focused content you've been sharing with us. Hoping soon you get to show us a 50-110 or 50-140 lever action and see how they stack up against the 2 express rifles.
Those rounds dont actually put out that much energy compared to Nitro Express rounds. They were blackpowder so they dont really get up to any meaningful speeds or grain weights.
@@darrengarcia4937 Yeah I know, it's hard to beat 1000 grain projectiles with Nitro powder behind it. Still the 50-140 produces a lot of muzzle energy for a black powder load. They also have smokeless factory loads producing over 4,400 joules of energy which is quite impressive for such a low pressure round. It's just more for the love for big bores. They are a dying and forgotten breed of gun and besides a video is always more fun with a big bore. Besides there is a guy on UA-cam who shoots, I believe it's a 50-110. He reloads his own ammunition and is producing very impressive results. Very close in comparison to these Nitro guns. You just have to have an action strong enough to withstand the pressures especially with modern smokeless powder. Winchester of course comes to mind as that is the strongest action in any levergun I believe. Either way it's fun.
I'm from Brazil, and I like very much your videos. tks for the content.
Nice one mang! 👍 love the shotgun videos
Watching you pull that shell out in slow motion brought back memories. I could almost smell it. My grandpa used to take me shooting and I loved that smell of the spent shells
I'm so danged happy to see you pretty near fully recovered and having fun again. 👍

I love your videos. I literally started crying when you pulled the table. You made my day! Haha
I absolutely love a 10 gauge! I have a Browning pump 10 gauge. My husband got me into shotguns a few years ago and I always take my 10 gauge with! I shot a pinata with it last year for my 36th birthday! Haha! All my husband's friends like seeing the recoil when I shoot it! I'm a woman standing at 5' 3" and my 10 gauge goes up to my shoulder when holding on the ground.
I love your channel! I love recoil! I have been shooting since I was 5! My dad taught me. I love 44 mags my favorite caliber and I have been shooting them since I was 7!
Thank you for the videos! Hope to find me a 10 gauge double barrel in the future!
I have been using a 10 GA. for about 40 years. H&R long range, single.
The geese drop at a range my buddy's 1187 super mag. can't seem to reach.
Biggest problem is ammunition cost. But then again my friends 1187, 3 1/2" , 12 GA. aren't cheap either.
Bought the H&R new in the early 80's.
And the almost 10lb's it weighs in at.
Absolutely adore that double barrel 10ga shotty. Almost as much as I adore the 700 Nitro Express 😎🤙🏻🇺🇸🦅
The double 10 is freakin sick! I have a single barrel 10, the recoil is honestly just fun
Another GREAT VIDEO!!!😃 What a AWESOME ending Spinning the Tires in the Diesel!!!!😁😆🤣
10 gauge is my favorite shotgun cartridge. I got a Browning BPS Pump action 10 gauge. Throws shells with authority and the pump sounds angry when you rack it. Its too bad there isn’t a whole lot of semi auto 10 gauges around...one can hope to get one, one day.
Only real downside is how expensive those shells are and much more rare to actually find from shops. Recoil management is personal and we dont count that. I use 3.5 inch shells with 2.3 oz of lead in my remington 870 for hunt.
Scott buddy you're the greatest! Excellent vid

Just found your channel! Man, I love this channel!
Happy to see you back in action as if nothing has ever happened ^^ How are you feeling btw?
The 8 and 10 gauge shotguns and boat mounted duck guns were phased out because of the incredible versatility of the 12 gauge; it’s still the go to for military and law enforcement scatter guns. And the slug/sabot fired from select rifled barrel models gives you essentially a devastating and accurate yet light, fifty caliber weapon.
Also recoil was a factor, the number of people who could comfortably shoot a 12 gauge was far higher.
Most of it was the invention of smokeless powder. Made the 12 better and the bigger ones near unwieldy
I hope you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching!!! You all are the best!!!
Yes sir. Thank you!
I love you
