you can remap the back buttons without going into the app. hold the function button on the front then press the back button to map and finally click the button you want to assign.
Not sure if people know (this might be worth pinning) you can change colours and presets on the go by using these controls while holding down the function/mute button use the bumpers to change preset, imagine the left stick as a colour wheel and the left trigger as a brightness slider
I also wanted to ask how you were able to get a kontrol freek on the controller. My Xbox ones were too small and the PlayStation ones are a tiny bit loose. I still play with the PlayStation ones but I wanted to know if you were able to find ones that fit snug
Hmmmm, tough one there, the pdp does not have trigger stops where the Infinity does. Now I am working on a new review right now it's a 35 dollar controller with extra buttons and trigger stops too fyi if you want to wait and see that to make a final decision.
I wish they would make them wirelessly they only make plain colors on the wireless i have one in black rbg wave controller they aint that bad i wish they would have the same exact weight on the real one
The only problem with that is the price we go way up. Microsoft owns the rights to wirless controllers for Xbox and com0a y would have to pay a arm and a leg to get permission to do that then that will cost us that to. But I get it wirless would be nice.
Do you by any chance know if the power a spectra aka Advantage is able to be overclocked? So the response is under 1ms just like what you showed in the video
I have the pdp afterglow controller and i have no stick drift on it and I have been thinking of buying this controller. But im scared of that if it has stick drift out of the box or after 2 week use. Btw i dont press the sticks because i put them to the back buttons if i buy this controller.
Always use the warranty if that happens it's been a great controller for the price. I'll do a comparison video on the Infinity by powera to this next to see what's better
The one thing is that there is alot of space where the dust can enter near the thumbsticks since they wanted to put the lights there....i can easly see this controller getting stick drift After a couple of months just because of the dust,plus the audio is really reaaaaaly bad when you plug your headset in the controller so i think i might return It for the turtle beach recon

I think of bying this because i love how loose the OG Xbox Series X Controller is. I have the Elite 2 and the sticks are so stiff even when i have changed them to the most loose on. I Just can't hit anything and i still need the 2 paddles on the back so if the sticks are similiar to the OG controller then i think this would be the best choise.
If you having aiming issues I recommend turning your sensitivity down this will cause you to have better aiming then slowly increase you sensitivity once your use to the speed
@@PughsReview I don't have aim issues. I have stick issues :D So i grabbed this from sale but the sticks unfortinately are quite damn stiff.. Even stiffer than on the OG Xbox controller. I want my sticks to be super loose for better aiming and looks like the Elite and this doesn't have that as the OG controller does. Well i'll keep this as a backup controller and for desktop gaming..

PDP makes some balling controllers at a great price. 2 paddles and basically perfect deadzones for 45 bucks? With good software to boot? Hell yeah. I got the victrix gambit, and it puts my elite 2 to shaaaaame. The paddle design isnt very good on the gambit. And i might have to go to 2 paddles since the 4 design is too compact for the force required to actuate. But still, no complaints other than that. Even works with my kontrol freeks. Great products. Im going to start recommending that company to everyone.
Yea ivwill have to do pdp controllers more often and I've heard good things and the gambit too might have to check that as well I've been digging the new 8itdo Controller with hall effects in it.
Not only do they work but every type of Kontrol freek fits. I’ve used PS controller ones on them and they work they rotate slightly but can’t feel it in game play. If you like ps4 thumb stick feel this is right up your ally. As someone who has always been PS and went to Xbox the ergonomics are incredible and feel like my aim is gliding. I legit got rid of my elite series 2… this controller feels really damn awesome and if it breaks what the hell it’s 40 bucks for a semi pro controller and most pros only use 2 back buttons. So to me it’s a pro controller with great sticks.
I have no experience with such controllers, I like the keyboard+mouse control with my gaming pc... now I've been playing Elden Ring since January 2023 and only a controller is the most effective way to go imo... I'm using an elder "PDP Rock Candy XBox360 PL-3760 " controller that I had lying unused in the drawer... it's a wired controller, which doesn't bother me on the pc, but the USB plug is quite loose without sufficient support and sometimes the controller loses the connection to the pc and the game because of this the left stick has so-called "stick drift", apparently a widespread issue with many controllers, even significantly more expensive ones from significantly better known manufacturers, even the expensive original Microsoft XBox controller is sometimes not free from this issue, which I have read ... it's really too much to despair that even well-known manufacturers don't seem to solve this issue even in their expensive controllers apart from this this inexpensive 25 EURO controller works quite well imo
you are correct this is an ongoing issue but there is a solution hall effect sensors in the joystick instead of what they use now with is strike plates there are a couple of companies that went to the method, and they are worth a look I did one of them here. ua-cam.com/video/XU0T0Wk5OgI/v-deo.html just in case you curious.
I bought a power a spectra infinity 2 weeks ago looks cool and all that but I’m so mad because the left trigger LT stop working playing call of duty mw2 the triggers feel cheap so it doesn’t surprise me that’s why this controller are way cheaper than the originals because they’re not premium in terms of quality also I was tuning the deadzone in mw2 controller settings and even in 5 start showing drift I remember on warzone with the the original controller I was able to put deadzone in 0 with only very minor drift but that was in 0

Power A is so inconsistent in their quality… My first Power A lasted me longer than a year but I had to get a replacement because the bumpers and A button started to shi- the bed. I got another and it lasted like 4 months. It felt just as good as the last but the left trigger would randomly activate and deactivate. Got a new one hoping it would last just as long as the first but no joke within 3 weeks the left stick became EXTREMELY loose causing severe stick drift and the up button on the the dpad stopped working. I just got a new one and have only used it for like a week and a half and both sticks have stick drift already! I’m going to buy the Afterglow right after I’m done commenting this. Hopefully it lasts longer than a f-cking month.
PDP have Horrible Products and even worst Warranty Policies. I bought 3 of these controllers and all these of them are getting stuck buttons, as if the plastic within them is cheap. I tried to go through their warranty policy with each controller, 3 seperate controllers, 3 seperate excuses of why they wouldn't back up their defective products. 1st controller Stuck Y button 2nd controller Stuck B button 3rd controller Stuck A button. (unfortunately I disassembled and clean this one to assure it wasn't anything on my end, which obviously voided the warranty for the 3rd product)
How to get the 2 controllers work on Win 10 ? I have the neon green pure black pdp 2022 and afterglow 2023.. i see them on steam, and as USB game controller under Win. But when we want to play in co-op the miraculous on steam, the second controller is dead responding.. they're set on steam as standard xbox controller, not the default steam Win device (with alt, shift, keyboard).. under Win they both move the cursor and open apps, but as soon game starts the second one is not responding (white connected led is ON on both).. Any tips to set them to cooperate?
Sorry for the delay I am not sure to be honest everything I see says it works on pc now steam I am not able to see stuff on so to be honest I wouldn't know. But I do some testing and see if I can figure it out. And make a short video if I do.
@@PughsReview thanks.. yeah i saw you have plenty controllers on test... that would be the easiest way.. maybe the issue is due to both controllers are dpd, but under Win/usb devices their names are tottaly different, so they setup with drivers correctly.. maybe it's a shitty game... but.. you know.. son is 8, and just wanted to make him happy playing it in colaboration with dad.. sad that things didn't work out.. maybe better luck on other titles, but not quite sure if CoD is a suitable game for 8 y.o. with all that killing stuff 😆 maybe will try some racing games and see where the conflict lies. Just though you maybe use some third party app to set controllers up as primary and secondary.
so, it's not a everyday use but it fills good like it would be. I am doing a video on this and the powera infinity controller comparison. to see which one we should buy.

I hear you. I prefer tighter sticks they help me with my aim. But each to their own everyone is different in this area.

I would assume you can turn them off in the app on the pc. I'm not infront of my pc or I would check for you.
