As mentioned on social media last night it should have been a 31-way shootout not a 28, as I forgot to bring out the Nacon Revolution X, Nacon Pro Compact, and Cinch Custom. I have dedicated reviews for both Nacon linked at the bottom of this comment, and this pinned comment explains how the controllers fit into this comparison.
These controllers may have RIG in the title which is Nacon’s newest branch of gaming peripherals. They are both wired and have Dolby Atmos virtual surround support from the 3.5mm headphone jack AND a subscription/activation to Dolby Access (a $15 value) on PC and Xbox consoles to be able to use them. Keep in mind this won’t sound as good as native Dolby supported headphones, soundbars, surround, etc..but it DOES sound very good as seen/heard in both my reviews. In North America Nacon has a 1 year warranty, but every other region gets 2 years.
The Pro Compact is physically small, which is good it you have tiny hands but even if you have average/medium hands it is still pretty comfortable due to having full size thumb sticks with anti-friction rings, and oversized face buttons which I LOVED due to being big and flat. Mini retails for $50 but is only $30 only Amazon currently depending on which of the 3 color you choose. If you need a cheap controller this is a good option, however it has a permanently attached 9.8 foot cable and isn’t as comfortable (for me) as almost all of it’s competition.
The Revolution X is still its launch price of $100 in white or black but goes on sale occasionally, and was $80 during my initial review. As for the cons slippery included thumb sticks, slick plastic shell with no rubber grips, a weird bumper design, and no trigger stops or smart/digital triggers, an expected staple of a $100 pro controller. On the positive this gamepad has 4 comfy rear buttons sunken into the rear shell flush you can map on the fly, the thumb sticks performed good in gamepad tester and have anti friction rings like its cheaper mini brother, the application on PC was quite good, and the Dpad and face buttons are large and clicky. A decent option at $100 however it feels and looks pretty cheap despite controllable RGB around the thumb sticks and I wouldn’t recommend it over the ThrustMaster Eswap X in the mid tier.
I didn't recommend the PS5 Dualsense from Cinch Customs and the Xbox offering is no different. Their Xbox pre builts when they do have some in stock vary from $190 for no rear paddles (how, just how), $230 for a 2 rear button, and $330 for a 4 rear button (without a remap chip, again very overpriced). The controller builder on mobile phone is terrible to navigate, PC works better but is cosmetically ugly while creating a controller with VERY LIMITED options and parts. $182 for just 4 rear buttons on a stock black looking controller, and there is no remap chip available just like Aim so you are stuck with static rear button mappings you select in the builder. Build time is 6-8 weeks or 1-3 weeks for $30, and you only recieve a 30 day warranty or extend it to a still short 6 months for $30. On top of being overpriced, not having as much customization, a fairly long build time and short warranty, my biggest complaint is Cinch puts their 4 rear buttons stupidly close to each other, even if you are covering all 4 rears with just your middle fingers it feels like you are covering 2 buttons because they are so darn cramped. As with PS, for Xbox Cinch is at the bottom of the custom controller recommendation list.

Bought the Nacon Revolution X a few days ago, it arrived yesterday. I was excited to open it up and test it out, was disappointed at the size. I have average size man-hands, and the controller is just uncomfortably large. Like, width-wise, I feel like it's built for longer fingers than mine. And the rear buttons (paddle spots) were just uncomfortable.

I still remember up to 2019 when reliable, first and second party Xbox 360 controllers, could still be found in physical stores for €20...
What happened to people? Why do you all accept these unacceptable prices for controllers???
The only upgrade any of them got was a gyroscope and that's still not so expensive.
Even Xbone and PS4 controllers still cost more than €30 and they're for 10 YEAR OLD CONSOLES.

I got one of their custom Design Lab built Elite Series 2 controllers and had to exchange it 3 times, finally ending up with a refund on the 4th send back due to partially unresponsive A/Y buttons. I actually think this one (not stick drift, bumpers, etc.) is an actual design flaw with the controller that maybe a lot of folks just don't notice?
Big sadge though, the controller is otherwise nigh perfect?

I think I'm on my 10th...maybe even more? elite series 2. They tend to reach a point where they become unusable for one reason or another at around 3 months for me. The longest one lasted me was maybe 6 months, and it was the white 'core' version. I only have to pay about $50 Everytime I need a new one thanks to Best buys insurance, I know I could just go through the manufacturer warranty when they break, but 50 dollars isn't a lot of money for me especially since I can get a brand new one the same day the last one breaks. I do use plenty of other controllers for specific use cases, but the elite 2 is my daily driver. I think I might try that new turtle beach controller instead next time my elite 2 breaks though.

So i was very happy to hear about the Gamesir G7 SE, the first Xbox Controller with Hall Sensor joysticks. And i really don't get why even premium Xbox Controllers still don't have this. Great video, as always. Love your content. I do think you have it backwards, though -- regarding the Elite II units sold, and quality control issues. The reason such a high number have been sold (aside from being Microsoft's official top-tier controller, and its prevalence/stock in brick-and-mortar) was the "quality control" (strategic obsolescence, in my opinion...) issues. I had an Elite I for 1.5 years before I needed a replacement (well cared-for). When I "upgraded" to an Elite II, it lasted me 2 months. Warranty swapped for a brand new one - 3 months. Endless issues with stick-drift and non-responsive bumpers. Gave up on them awhile back. Hope the rumors of their improvement are true..

I just got the Instinct Pro last week after exchanging about 12 Elite Series 2 that all had stick drift out of the box and I absolutely love it. It's definitely overpriced though. It should be around $150 in my opinion. Although it's quite expensive, I'm definitely digging it more than the Elite Series 2 overall. Also, there was a card in the box that said the warranty was increased to a full year instead of 6 months. Definitely consider this controller if you have no problem dropping $210 on a controller.

The Gulikit feels higher quality and more solid, plus those triggers are the smoothest I've ever felt, but the T4 has better touch on all the other buttons. The thing I don't like about both of them is the View button is placed badly. You can't really hit it without bumping the left thumbstick. One of the biggest reasons I got the T4 was so I could remap a rear button to the View button.

I've had my Nacon RIG Revolution X Pro for over 1.5 years playing at least 4-6 hours a day and the sticks are still working excellent compared to my Xbox elite series 2 stick had stick drift in three months along with all my other big-name brands like Razor Wolverine, Scuff etc. are all garbage do to the analog outdated sticks they use.
The Nacon RIG Revolution X has been very solid and truly the best one ever for durability and no stick drift. FYI, they did just come out with a new one that has hall effect sticks. I think my "RIG" version has them, that's why its lasted this long, someone said to get the one that says RIG because they thought that one has the hall effect sticks.
The only thing I wish they would have updated on the new one was to make the body closer size Xbox controller and update the back paddle buttons on the handle so you can click the rear ones easier.

MASSIVELY IMPORTANT TIP HERE. In ds4 windows adjusting Max Output to something lower like 95% or even 80% and then putting sensitivity to 105% or 120% respectively will give you NEAR PERFECT circularity. The lower you put Max Output however decreases the accuracy so it's not recommended to go below 90%. It would be nice if you could explore this more btw lol

I am doing a DS4 windows tutorial in the near future, and I will cover the adjustment you mentioned along with a bunch of other useful tweaks. I’d also like to clearify what you’re saying would SHOW good results in game pad tester but generally FEEL like ass due to not having 20% of your outer movement on the stick, and using a higher sense to try to counteract that. Cool party trick to show your buddies a low result in Gamepad tester…not advised for actual gaming.

Then I got a series 2 core and have had it almost 2 years and no sign of stick drift (i use the accessories from my original series 2) If you get lucky (Q&C is getting better) and get a good one it'll last a long time

I actually have both the Advance and Ultra X from HexGaming. Both great controllers, though I actually prefer the Ultra X for its extra features and I actually don't mind the rear button placement (seeing as I use 2 rear buttons most of the time, but I can still reach the other 2 buttons with my middle fingers if need be). I built the Advance through their site and I really like how it turned out, but my only gripe is the lack of friction rings for the thumbsticks.

I want to start off by saying that I have had an obsession as of late to find my perfect controller. For anyone that finds this comment, I hope you find it useful.
    Battle Beaver:
Love the stick tension and accuracy on these but the back buttons effing suck
Dual sense edge: Currently my main
This thing just feels so good in your hands. The half moon paddles feel amazing, but in competitive Apex Legends I need 4 paddles not 2. The function keys are pretty much useless. Only a slight stick drift after 6 months of heavy use but hey, I can replace those at anytime for $20.
    Gamesir G7 SE:
This controller feels awesome for the price, but there is like NO AIM ASSIST with this controller in games. I don't know what it is, but if I am playing on controller then... I want aim assist.
    Elite Series 2:
Stick drift. New or used. Always stick drift. The thumbstick tension adjuster and paddles are the only good things about this controller
    Razor Wolverine v2 chroma:
My god this controller is comfy and the extra bumpers is just pure genius. I loved everything about this controller, BUT and a big BUT, the factory deadzone! even setting it in the software to 1 is just awful. Aim feels very muddy for fine movements.
    Thrustmaster eswap X Pro:
When you said the thumbsticks feel amazing, they do! SO very accurate, but there is something about the sensitivity curves on these that don't provide linear aim consistency for me. I found myself going back to the Dual Sense Edge.
    Scuf Instinct Pro:
Stick drift right out of the box, but the thumbstick tension feels great for aiming. I personally didn't like the new paddle system.
    Aim PS5 Pro:
Currently on expedited order. Used my code Stallions baby. Will update my review soon.
Thanks for putting out great content on these controllers. Not everyone can afford to try out several controllers like you and I!
