That's for a much different crowd of people than this review is aiming for. It isn't as simple as teaching yourself to Solder unfortunately. The process of removing & replacing the sticks, especially the ones that come with the additional board, isn't something a person with little Solder experience could pull off with no issue first try. It's possible, but not a good idea to attempt as you could ruin your device, or the sticks with ease. That's a DIY thing and I feel like that's an entirely different group of people. Pro players, and aspiring pro players/content creators want something that works, and aren't too interested in taking the time to get that involved with their device.
@@vCuda Honestly that is perfectly on point its a completely different audience. Hell most of your vids hit the mark and the only thing I generally disagree with on your channel is the importance of comfort in the hand that a lot of the newer pro controllers dont prioritise. The 360 and the dual shock 4 were the peak of comfort. It was all downhill from there. The xbox one controller was too sharp and compact and the ps5 controller was too big. Generally even some of the older pro controllers had better design than modern pro controllers like that piece of shit msi controller that broke in a week feels way better in the hand than most controllers coming out these days.

I have owned one of these since it came out, and it's my favorite controller. I replaced my custom Elite Series 2 with it. The only thing I miss is the tunable joysticks and the battery life. Everything else is better, IMO. Edit: I forgot about the bigger battery.
I have had this controller for about a month, and it's been performing pretty well. I tried to overclock it and that basically bricked it for a couple hours until I found a solution online, so I wouldn't recommend trying that just to avoid the headaches. About once a week my sprint (L3) and jump (A and left paddle) stop working mid game, but it seems to be a software bug because all I have to do is unplug it and plug it back in to fix it, but it is annoying. I do wish they would've added hall effect joysticks since I'm sure stick drift will be a problem in the future, but for now they're good. Overall, the buttons, triggers, and joysticks feel great compared to a normal ps4 or ps5 controller. Great upgrade for those looking to do so.

I like that design the SCUF Envision Pro has. It looks similar to the PS4 controller, mainly because they have the same button and stick layout, which makes it super cool. :3
From the perspective of a PC game pad nerd: Does this controller have good gyro? And does it really have a PS layout, but no touch pad?? Because the touchpad has at least 4 distinct inputs, that you can always map the way you want. I'm pretty sure the FlyDigi Vader 3 Pro is a cheaper (costs below 100 bucks, bigger issue currently is the ability to order one, cause it's non stop sold out everywhere), yet better pro controller for PC nerds, with the extremely good feeling hall effect joysticks, also switchable triggers to micro switch and also 6 extra buttons (4 back buttons, but instead of the weird sax buttons it just got 2 extra face buttons right below the standard 4 ones). And the FlyDigi controllers have extremely well support by the remapp program reWASD, that allows you to set every button of this controller to any input you want. So vCuda, I highly recommend you try out and review the FlyDigi Vader 3 Pro (not the APEX 3, that one's shit, tbh). Maybe you'll like that controller, too. :)
The fact that the GameSir T4 Cyclone Pro is sold for $50 means that all pro controllers on the market are now irrelevant. Scuff does not offer anything worth $120 more compared to the T4 Cyclone.

First off, vCuda, You hands down have the best controller reviews I've ever seen and I actually bought the scuff envision pro after my PS5 controller started experiencing stick drift. I just want to add that I never touch the sax buttons by accident and I think that they're in the perfect location. I don't have big hands by any means but I can definitely see the issue being a problem if you have small hands and you have to wrap around the controller to reach the triggers Also, I'm loving the controller so far and I'm thinking about trying out some control freaks

I ordered my scuf envision pro the day it was released! I use the Right Side button to slide in COD, the only con for me is the fact that it's clocked at 500mhz whilst PS5 controllers (Dualsense edge, Scuf reflex FPS) which I've owned both have the capability to be OC'd to 8000Mhz, night and day difference in response time. Great review however.
I need this controller to have a one night stand with the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra and use their offspring. If this had the Stealth Ultra's hall effect sticks, microswitch back buttons and bumpers, and the actually useful on-controller screen, it would be my endgame controller
I bought mine a couple months ago from Best Buy and thank God I have the protection plan because I've already swapped it out three times and I'm about to so it for a fourth time because v the buttons wear out. The other three times were all the back buttons. This time was both trigger buttons. I absolutely love the controller with my Kontrol Freak up until it gives out. Today I went ahead and bought the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro, which I will use for COD while I wait for my Envision replacement, but the plan is to use the Wolverine for all things not COD and pulling less stress on the Envision. The Wolverine would maybe work for COD, but I like how I'm able to nap one of the back buttons to a keyboard let that's dedicated to prone rather than having to long press the crouch/slide button. Long pressing anything in a game of milliseconds is detrimental.
FINALLYYYY! The review we were all waiting for and thank you mate for uploading this! As always you’re the best when reviewing controllers, I do have a question that is unrelated to the controller though I noticed you went back to nvidia from amd and I’d like to ask you why out of curiosity haha, fantastic video as always!

Had to subscribe amazing 🎉🎉🎉 video review
bruh .. youre soo good .. Thanks .
Was waiting for this one
still no hall effect sticks? crazy
It's cheaper because they don't have to pay the ps and xb license
I am very happy they fixed the software and the controller is still on point a year and a kitten who knocked it off of everything later
DO CONTROLLER TIERLIST
How long have you used it for tho?
Anyone know how to stop icue from crashing so much? Happens every time I play. Controller is unplayable competitively
do you suggest this or the hypr? i know can be different but similar
Is the mouse clicky only on 2 paddles or all 4?
where does the usb c adapter go?
I need this controller to have a one night stand with the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra and use their offspring. If this had the Stealth Ultra's hall effect sticks, microswitch back buttons and bumpers, and the actually useful on-controller screen, it would be my endgame controller
Hey Cuda, which Kontrol Freeks fit this controller better?
He literally said it in the video.
Great review. Commenting for the algorithm
Are you going to be reviewing the new turtle Beach controller?
can u make a vid on how to open it up
Great Video - I have spent hors wondering what those plastics are.
Mine took a crap in about 3 weeks and I still haven’t been able to get scuff to do anything about it.
Something about icue and armory crate running is giving me blue screens , deleted icue and returned controller problem gone
Why is it PC only 😭. It seems it's better than what they provide for other platforms?
Whats about Response time on wired use? And overclocking aswell on wired
I have 2 Scuf Instinct Pros with stick drift. Is there a place that fixes and replaces controllers?
FINALLYYYY! The review we were all waiting for and thank you mate for uploading this! As always you’re the best when reviewing controllers, I do have a question that is unrelated to the controller though I noticed you went back to nvidia from amd and I’d like to ask you why out of curiosity haha, fantastic video as always!
Is this the best controller for PC or do you have a video comparing a bunch of them?
I think it's hard to beat if you ONLY play PC games
Just bought one. I found it at Best Buy on Accident. Its my first scuf controller, and i only play pc anyway. Joysticks feel way more accurate and smooth and i will eventually make the g buttons do something useful just haven't played with them yet...
