Math and stats is far harder course than economics and management. I had friends on both those courses and management part is a bit of fluff. To be honest Trinity Mathematics Cambridge is really the no 1 lowest acceptance and hardest degree. Degrees like Medicine are not that hard just lost of memory work. Cambridge maths is on a new level and they are known to offer sometimes S, S on step, which for anyone taking Step will know is insanely hard makes A*A* maths a levels easy. They also have like over approx 60% get a 1st class from Trinity mathematics (
Hi, can you please clarify something? I saw the MSt in English (1700-1830) course at Oxford has 72 places but they received 60 applications. Does it mean that the program has a very high acceptance rate since it has more seats than applications? Thank you!
Economics and Management are the most important fields and also very competitive compared to oversaturated+overrated Science degrees like engineering or compsci.
I suppose they take on more students then lets say maths, and these are sort of specific maths so obviously it would be a smaller entrance than I think just maths

I think bangs are a more suitable hairstyle for you since you have a high hairline, or at least a hairstyle that provides some cover for your forehead.

Economics and management is one of the most pointless "academic" fields I know. It's neither science (as there are too many unpredictable variables to take into account to really be able to establish any "laws of economy") nor humanity (as they are trying to build models and calculate results). I'm really surprised it's so highly valued at Oxford University 😶 I have a bachelors degree in economics and I truly regret the three years I spent studying it. Accouting, however, is quite nice and useful, I do respect that bit 😁
It’s surprising how computer science is not big compared to other studies. Considering almost everything we do is almost computer based in a sense
That's because, at the end of the day, using computers and making computers are two different things.
I mean, one doesn't have to learn how to cook to enjoy good food...
@@mizuhime6221 very true haha

@@TheGrifhinx CS majors don’t make computers…the computer engineers do. They’re different.
Pretty good reasons to console myself if i didn't get into Oxford!!
did you get an interview?
Don't*

Is it for undergrad or Master's?
I'm doing Master's in CS here so I'm pretty flattered ✨
Think it’s for undergrad because there are bachelors on the screenshot at the end.

i want to accept to Oxford PPE but i am bachelor degree another college?

Hi Wang, I've been watching your Vlogs, but currently a member as well in Christ Church College. Can we kindly meet?
Can you attempt CAT exam which is management entrance exam for MBA. The top institutes accept students with a 99.5%ile +
In india*
Question, what GCSE grades do I need to have a chance at getting into OXFORD uni?
Probably majority 9s and 8s
What about jurisprudence?
Wow,i am actually pretty surprised, that law isn't in the top 5
What about PhD in Law?
So law at Oxford would be easier?
Yeah you definitely didn't realise your degree was the hardest
Computer science at Oxford is number 1 in the world. According to THE rankings 2024
this whole video just for the flex hahaha
So thrre is no masters in engineering
😭😭
highest acceptance rate?
What do you know - you're the smartest person at Oxford University! How about that...
Can we do a double major ? What if ones confused b/w engineering and computer science
A what? That isn’t a thing in Europe..
The government is mainly Oxbridge
So get over yourselves.
So physics, and other engineering courses like mechanical engineering, Aerospace engineering are easier to get in than economics? 😂
obviously... economics has way more importance/worth than any engineering!
Acceptance rates for Oxbridge r a bs metric because of the additional complications of applying

ok now check medicine but for international students - i believe its somewhere around 1-2%
speaking from experience
Law ?!
