Demiurge is one of those songs where you can't quite comprehend how good it is until you hear and feel the bass live. The groove is immense. I loved seeing them this summer.
@@SRMoore1178 kind of but the whole thing becomes melodically menacing around 2:35. Feels like the first time the door opened and it was darth maul in episode 1 when you were a kid. It’ll give you goose bumps
I want these dudes to live forever. If I had an immortality token I’d give mine up so this band could live on and make music for the future. They already did it in our times 😮
I was thinking the same about how sad when they wont be able to perform/make music anymore... What a loss that will be. Everything is temporary so gotta enjoy while it last ! Best live band i've seen.
8:50 the excited/terrified shriek someone lets out as it drops sums it up perfectly. Utter musical carnage, I have to see them live even if it means physically fighting severe people
One of my favorite bands. Personally I’m amazed at their stage and light show. Whoever designed this put a lot of thought into the lighting, backdrop, and stage, all of it adds so much depth and makes everything seem bigger (the backdrop) than it actually is.
Great sound quality! Meshuggah playing live will sound good no matter what it's recorded on: a smart phone, an '80s boom box cassette deck, a horn into an old-timey phonograph (Victrola), etc...
Did anyone else notice the person in the crowd at 5:16 making the buzzer sound from Future Breed Machine before it started? EDIT: It might be because the back-up mics were brought out a few seconds earlier, incredible attention to detail
It's amazing how well phones capture sound and video now! I feel like I'm there! Not only that, they absolutely deliver a great performance 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 thanks for folming this!!!
@@theshaman0283 damn, this was your first metal show?! I've been going to metal shows for almost 30 years and this was my favorite. If you get a chance to see them, Thy Art is Murder puts on an amazing show as well.
Great video! You got right on Fredrik for the solos! Saw this tour and this encore was perfect to end the sickest show I’ve ever seen. Metal perfection Long live the gods of metal🤘🤘
Love these guys!! What a massive performance!! ... Heavy as h*ll, the complexity, the force, the timing, the devotion to the music. They may not be as wild'n furious on stage as the early days but man do they RULE!!! Thanks for capturing this!! ❤️🤘💪
I love to see Meshuggah play live, but am I the only who feels that the guitar solo on the album version of "Future Breed Machine" is perfect on a note to note level and that the live versions which almost always stray from that perfect solo are inferior?
Oh I bet that was a fun night. Did you ever go into the pit when not recording? Edit: I see Fredrick didn’t do the reader that did the beep beep beep for future breed machine, guess he didn’t he se the breath. Was it audio recorded then? Looked like it

He may have seen some online footage of the tour beforehand, or attended one.
But he's probably is a time traveller.

The break down plays in my head at all times. I cannot and don’t want to escape it
speak for yourself that song has been a jam for years lol

Demiurge isn’t as simple as people think it is on the first listen
Guy in the crowd going EEK EEK EEK EEK knows what’s next 😂👌🏻 5:16
There will never be another band like them. Theyve been in my arsenal for 25 years, only so much time left.
Same. I feel you there.
Yup, remember blasting these guys in high school in the late 90s early 2000
There is not time. There is no spoon. There is only Meshuggah!
The contrast between red lights and pitch black at 8:57 makes the silence in the music even more dramatic and sinister. Love it!

every meshuggah live show ever
Seriously! This tour was my third time seeing them and this light show was top notch.
If you're interested the guy who designed this has a UA-cam channel. His name is Edvard Hansson.
His name is Edvard and he posts some stuff on his YT channel! ua-cam.com/users/EdvardHansson
if i remember correctly he does it in real time along to the music

You can't know the genius of this band until you play it yourself
The fucking slowed breakdown in future breed machine was so fucking good i went to their show last night in mini
Greatest band ever
God I love Meshuggah

I just love they just entered stage, all white haired and bad posture, releasing 30+years of complex notes knocking people off
