Yeah, very few metal bands are on par with these absolute legends in terms of artistic vision, precision and power in a live setting. For me Gojira, Amenra, Neurosis, High on Fire, Converge and The Ocean are on the same level, and a few more get very close. ELITE.
Their tone is unreal, they got that 8 string djent shit all figured out, there's a reason their scale is like a full 30" lol that's a fuckin MAN'S guitar son.far as the rig Fredrik has so much nice shit, they're tone gods really.
Jens has got to be one the best metal vocalists in the world. I saw them last week in NYC and I was absolutely floored by him. He screams his soul out night after night and sounds incredible at each show. I'm convinced the guy isn't human.
Amazing! Most bands play things faster live. Meshuggah is the only band that can reduce the tempo and still sound 10 times heavier, even better, than playing at album tempo! I can't wait to see them in Houston 2022!!!
@@Isaac-eg3um I personally saw them Oct 16 last show of their tour.. my seat was fuckin horrible, worst seats in Atlanta's Tabernacle, and they didn't play "Bleed", and with all that being said, it was still fuckin amazing. My seats way up high made the way the frequencies sounded up there pretty, uh, not ideal? I'm sure if we would have been on the floor, we would have been sent to another planet by the sheer power. The fuckin atmosphere created. Unparalleled. 10/10 would recommend a Meshuggah live show. Get it while you can, they'll be 60 soon 🤣
Hey don't worry I'm just going to keep feeding this views on the way up to the show lol can't stop watching this one and the performance of straws pulled at random OMG and I can't believe they are playing In life/Death. @@gustavogiacominpinho3987 I know right, there is about a zero percent chance she will get Meshuggah as it took me years as a metal fan to fully appreciate the genius of this band. Still fresh today. That's how you know they where ahead of their time. I love Meshuggah.
Fresher than today's music
I've always thought that about them, They're still heavier than most new bands.
There’s something about meshuggah that makes it terrifying but in a good way. Would love to see them live

I can't think of any other band that can play a 30 year old tune this tight. Damn.
even better than the original recording, i suppose
I'm so glad they slowed it down a touch. It's so groovy now
These guys' 30 year old tune sound more modern than anything today
How to tell Meshuggah fans are smarter than average concert goers: the ratio of cellphones being held in horizontal position instead of vertical.
😂
They're in a state of obZen
Complaining about cellphone videos while watching one without a hint of irony.

Their guitar tone is perfectly dialed in. After all these years..no doubt their has never been and never will be a better metal band than meshuggah

Top audio. Took me right back :D
underrated classic masterpiece
This sounds every bit as heavy as it did when it first came out in 94 or 95 - SO SICK!!!!
Jens diaphragm is the Pandora’s box
But joking aside, is all pure technique
Meshuggah is a force of nature! Absolutely overwhelming! 🤘🏼
that breakdown. so simple but brutal after all that thrashy buildup
