Playing Bleed at the end of a set is crazy. The stamina they have is jaw dropping.
especially because they didnt play it for most (or all?) of the last two years afaik. they didnt play it on the 2 europe stops i saw them on.
@@lilly8958 they haven't played it since 2019
@@Sasquatch33 My friend and I flipped the fuck out in Vancouver when they pulled out Bleed and Demiurge.
@@Sasquatch33 iirc i heard haake recently had problems with his leg or foot idk so they had to pull bleed off the playlist coz it was too much for him. then around when fredrik was doing his side project, they also had multiple problem playing bleed coz according to some, his temporary replacement somehow messes up the brrrtatabrrrtata riff of 2nd verse from time to time, not always tho
Bleed is insane. It is far from one of their best songs, but pulling it out and playing it night in and night out at the END of a set like this is crazy
This has to be one of the greatest Meshuggah live concert videos EVER recorded. The fidelity is perfect. The video quality, the frame rate, the positioning, the sound... As a superfan of meshuggah, I cannot thank you enough for posting this!!!
Wow, thank you!
This is awesome mate for sure but there live performance at Bloodstock is definitely their best to date, check it out!
Listen to bloodstock fest, the sound is incredible
Absolutely. This is wonderful. Props to the recorder, you've made our lives better. The excitement to soon see 'em live increases!
@TylerNassiri: in case you haven't: check out The Ophidian Trek. I don't mean to compare, I just want to share: the sound and production of that recording... ✊🏽
@@BenMoon-zv2gq They`re both good imo. Bass is really good on this one, but jens and guitars come through better for me on Bloodstock recording. Both great to listen to as a Meshuggah fan.
Playing *Humilitave > Future Breed Machine > Bleed* is the ultimate *G.O.A.T. FLEX!!*
If only combustion was after rational gaze
Whoever time-stamped the solos…. I feel so seen. You deserve a raise and a hug.
I was there I still can’t believe how amazing they were, I mean I already knew how good they are but from the production to the sound it was just an experience of a master class live hahah unreal
fucking eh man
I was there too... my 18th time seeing them. They just keep getting better and better over the years. Saw them the day before in NYC too
Sweet
18th?! Damn!@@JBrooksNYS
It was so awesome to see them play Humiliative live. That song is almost 30 yrs old and None EP is almost forgotten about. Part of Meshuggah lore. When they were still building and refining their sound. Song still sounds fresh today.
love that EP
I felt like I was in an alien ship.
Never thought this was this awesome.🔥
such an amazing experience feeling these forces pushing and pulling your mind in amalgamative direction!
Dragged my boyfriend to this show as we were just getting over being sick. We seriously debated not going and just eating the ticket price, but.... holy shit. It was the best show we have seen in years, and we go to a ton of shows. Saw them on a Tool tour like 20 years ago, but this is a whole other level. Will never miss another. 33 🤘
I watch this every Saturday morning while I cook breakfast ❤️
Meshuggah is hypnotic. I hope I C get to see them in this life.
Yeah, same thing man
Inclusive é nois
Holy shit the light tech had alotta fun with Humiliative
There is a video out there of how they script the lights. Was pretty cool seeing it.
Link to that vid?
@@thesloppyjoesYeah, software does that mostly these days.
Their live sound is unparalleled
These lights and the stage design are absolutely perfect. Wow 🤩
How about a shout out for the lighting people and stage set up!?!?!? Phenomenal job!!!!!!!
The lights are programmed and in sync with the in-ear click.
If I’m correct Tomas Haake’s brother is among the lightning technicians
@@TheVargen1971You’re probably thinking about his cousin, Fredrik Haake. He did some work for them a couple of years ago. But nowadays its all programmed.
Yes correct and thanx reply. @@Rocker72
@@Rocker72 and most of the show, the lighting operator wasn't behind his desk... but amazing programming !
This was the most brutal setlist ive ever seen performed live. Relentless assault.
10:35
I swear it sounded like half the venue was growling along with Jens!
And thats what it sounded like in person too! ❤🤘
Perpetual black second was an unexpected yet awesome addition
Melted my fucking brain last night in Bethlehem PA at Windcreek! Was on the rail yelling at my wife "This is what the inside of a fuckin' black hole sounds like!!!" She got the full effect. Thank you Meshuggah. My wife isn't a huge metal fan and she left this show instantly hooked on what you guys do for us. Thank you Meshuggah and crew for bringing the PAIN! Could chew on the danger in the air.
Haha I was there in suite 1. Awesome show. It's so cool your wife went and liked them. My wife says their music gives her anxiety 🤣
I was there in MI on 7 grams of mushrooms and it was fucking amazing.
There are so many nuggets in this comment 🤣🤣
damn they sound so tight live!
because they are so damn tight live
meshugga is god singing and playing all instruments at once
I love it. My wife can't stand it, she thinks it's the worst music she's ever heard haha. I'm like you don't get it sorry, this shit is epic.
@@NooDLES411911 Well not many women get metal. My wife does tho, but no the extreme stuff I'm after, so I stopped to bother and act as a drone for the Within Temptation shows :D
I just love the way you zoom out the camera for the born in disonance intro
That was fucking cool
I was crowd surfing in the Santa hat!! During the vibe part of In Death is Death and during bleed
These guys are like wine. Just get better and better!
Future Breed Machine then Bleed. So fucking awesome.
I would kill for them to play one of the other chunks of Catch 33 besides the single one they play all the time
Like the intro tracks or Personae thru the intro to Sum especially even moreso
Yeah I really want to hear Autonomy Lost sometime

Freds Bleed solo is fantastic. It's so good he's back. Pozdro666
Gods 🔥🔥🔥
I was there. You can hear me just to your left during the encore yelling “Meshuggah! Meshuggah!” Fucking amazing show! Thank you for capturing it all! Tomas Haake is the GOAT
Absolutely amazing setlist. This band is such a treat
Incredible. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this!
Thanks for uploading this! Probably the best concert I've been to.
Awesome video! I Will see them next year after a much too long time and the waiting hurts
wow perfect camera placement and quality. thanks for the upload !
18:37
Nobody undulates riffs like Meshuggah \m/
Thanx for uploading and very great filmed! This concert is way beyond amazing, and the light show is by far the best I’ve seen. I well do remember the first time I saw Meshuggah live at a small club in Stockholm back in 1998. This is like from an own galaxy!
Thank you for sharing this.
Humiliative is such a beast of a song. It sounds so frikkin massive here. 53:30 and onwards is just a syncopated chugfest. Chaos and precision in perfect harmony.
Incredible, thanks for posting this!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wicked tour. Great set here.
Thanks for this.
Thanks for the upload! Demiurge is hands down their best closer. What a song. Thanks again and thank you Meshuggah!
Was one of the best shows I’ve been to. You never think a show will top your first time seeing Meshuggah - which is true, until you see Meshuggah again.
great show!
This was my first (and hopefully NOT last) Meshuggah concert. Absolutely breathtaking and mind-melting. Thanks for posting this so I can relive it \m/ \m/
Wow just ,crazy good...&lights🎉
This is so fucking amazing, they are brutal, proud to be from Sweden =)
I flew from Orlando for this no regrets , the middle part of in death that bass sound it’s arithmetic damm it
Thank you.
I was there at this show! Came from Maine to see them December
this was such a great show I had a ton of fun
Great recording quality, sounds great. I like it when a live recording sounds like an actual concert. Jamming at my cube at work doesn't get any better.
Glad I found this thanks to the algorithm. I was there up front right in front of Dick most of the night, was able to pick myself out in this video, thanks so much for posting it; so great to relive this epic show.
This was hands down one of the best live performances I've ever seen on a video without a shadow of a doubt.. not to mention meshuggah just fn crushed my head in watching this.. so fn good man.. thank u so so much for posting this.. 🤘🤘
Wow, thank you!
Unreal show!
The fact they play bleed at the end is absolutely wild. Such monsters.
My gawd THIS SET!! And perpetual black second?? !!!
Have seen them twice and can't wait to see them again in March! Most intense live-band ever and uttlery professional!
Incredible
One of the best shows I've ever attended.
RIP to anyone who’s prone to epilepsy. 😂❤
🔥🤘🏼🔥MESHUGGAH🔥🤘🏼🔥 LIVE is something to behold.....
whoever did the lighting on this show is on point.
most exciting buildup and beginning of a show i think ive ever seen. whaaaat? I vaguely remember this band and no nothing about their actual music, but this concert beginning is the best ever!
These guys are incredible.
The quality of the recording and the sound is very good for a cell phone. I can't stand Iphones, but there's no denying that they capture good pictures and video.
Great footage!
Thanks for visiting
Ligature Marks was on another level from the rail.. can't believe they can actually do this live!
The lights during Abysmal Eye are incredible!! So good... its all amazing but those during that brutal ass song are my favorite 🤘
Everytime I see the abysmal eye played live I get chills
Shout out to my boy Tyson, FOH dood for the MGM! He’s just there to make sure shit doesn’t blow up, but still!
Proud of my boy!
LOCAL 11 REPRESENT!
The Meshuggah monolith rolls on
Strongest🔥
best live sound i have ever heard, nothing has topped it.
Fr, that guitar tone tho
Wow!
6 days after I saw them in MI. I wish they would film each show for the entire tour and sell it as part of a ticket package or something. It's cool to see other sets, but no two are alike and it would be awesome to actually be able to rewatch a show I went to with professional audio and camera equipment.
This has got to be the best full set recording I've seen from the whole tour, definitely gonna be putting this one on rotation A LOT at home. Respect.
P.S.: I'm quite jealous that they played future breed machine... they didn't play that one on the San Diego date of the tour.
Enjoy!
I THINK this is the first tour they've played it.
Nice footage!
Thanks!
love thordendal's playing so much. he never does cliche licks, his playing always fits the song, in some ways it can be minimalistic, like his first solo in bleed is just 2 notes. such an awesome player. wish i had learned from him when i started first playing guitar.
That’s some of the most badass shit I’ve ever seen live.
I'm so excited they plays In Death is Life/Death now again.
Born in Dissonance looked insane
ITS BEEN YEARS SINCE THEY DIDNT PLAT "PERPETUAL BLACK SECOND"
That track is massive
From the 90's Chaosphere frenetic live attitude to the Immutable stationary live presence
This lighting guy deserves as much as the band members LMAO
He still accompanies the band live but I believe that the entire lighting system is pre-programmed using MIDI with the band using in-year clicks to know the right time to enter each song. Still an impressive piece of work, tho
lol i'm 110% positive it's programmed.. nobody is doing that by hand lmao@@nolifebr
@@stevebanning902 - He used to do live around the Obzen days. Ayyway, his channel (Edvard Hansson) has some great light tests/production videos with a lot of Meshuggah stuff.
@@nolifebr exactly, pre-programmed and timecoded with the band's click
That scream in demiurge though...these guys are next level all the time.
в мой ДР!
Good grief! Ligature Marks is impossibly heavy!
It's incredible, truly
Sweet sic'
I was here
God damn
Thanks for the upload. I saw them last night in Bethlehem PA. The edibles hit just right and I was grooving too hard to record anything. Really happy to see Bleed live. I became a fan during the pandemic so last year I didn't hear them play it. Was sick to hear Humiliative and Perpetual Black Second too, two tracks I really like that don't get played a lot live
Holy shit, you must have been sitting right next to me. At the upper bar where the drink rail was. Un-fucking-real show, thanks for getting all of it!
That ligh setup on perpetual black second is amazing. (It also is on the whole set, but perpetual is a ne one on this tour)
Give the guy in charge of lighting a raise.
Dude.....I would turn gay for you for uploading this. No one else, just you. THANK YOU! ❤
The best way to explain Meshhuggah live is imagine you're in a arena and a sound is so loud and thick but hits you like a robot with a woofle bat slapping you to a carribbean beat to different parts of your body.
The bass shakes your entire being, you will be vibrating consistenly for days.
Its like the air is sucked in and out of the room to polyrhythms
Future Breed Machine live is insane i'm going to see them in march i hope they will play it
Messhuggah is insane
