I made a joke out of something a comedian said. We know he's referring to stand-up because that is the topic of discussion.
@@MrMusicalee Ste-"Let me ruin your joke"-ven
Yeah. Two people in a three hour conversation gives each person ninety minutes, minus piss breaks, adds and other breaks, it works out to about "1 hour and 20 minutes" per person.
@@MrMusicalee Congrats on your joke!
Get Dave Chappelle on the podcast!
@DB Cooper's MoneyBags why do you say that?
DB Cooper's MoneyBags Joe mentioned that Dave doesn’t show himself at all in Hollywood and only appears to do small gigs. I forget the podcast but it was recent. Not going to happen sadly
Happening end of the year
@DB Cooper's MoneyBags Joe is far from Hollywood. It's like you've seen 1% of his podcasts..🤦🏽♂️
There have been many great guests but Dave would be the holy Grail.
I think its hilarious how Joe is always killing in his own head.
Well at least he has one fan.
Joe "I'm gonna power press the shit out of these barbells until my stand up is funny" Rogan
TheBarf
This coming from a dude using a dead joke. That shit died long ago. Try being original maybe?
@@seanwilks7712 Haha. I never heard it before. Don't automatically assume someone is retelling an old joke.
TheBarf
I’m talking about the “joe enter random dumb shit rogan” format. It’s played out.
Man i really wish Joe rogan would compare standup to martial arts just once in a while :(
“And boom we’re live” it’s been real
M
income the people that've been watching for about a year to come and say "whats the big deal just watch the video"
TheRoyalHam ignorance is bliss
Jamie really needs to pull that shit up and figure out what's going on with this live shit.
@@Charles-hw5dm copyright issues. Same thing happened to H3 last week, only they got blocked worldwide during the stream. I think they mention Rogan have the same problem
The joe rogan podcast we never asked for, but desperately needed.
Only if Rogan would've let his guest speak at all.
I’m writing this response because I felt an upvote wasn’t enough to express the level to which I agree with your comment
Wow i was about to pass thanks
#MADTRUTH #SANDLER/Swanson NEXT
I fucking asked for it. Jeselnik is modern day Rushmore.
Jeselnik looking like Jason Sudeikis and Dane cooks love child
Wow, what a compliment.
Jeselnik is my favorite comedian, glad to get more insight on him
Joe- I know we were just having a good conversation but let’s talk about space junk real quick
Anthony- yup
Anthony Jeselnik at a charity for the Hatian Earthquakes: "At this point, we should just start a benefit that just teaches hatians how to eat rubble."
Rapportus5 lmao
Rapportus5 if this is on his special; I’ll flip my lid.
That's funny as fuck, and sounds just like him.
Well,they are:
1.poor
2.black
3.not american

Patrice O'neal "To me Anthony has too much confidence... in my world he is an open Mic-er. Even when he talks he sounds like a medieval waiter and I just want to say shut up you nothing and give me my turkey leg. Anthony I refuse to learn your shitty last name, Galifanakus is the last shitty last name that I'm gonna learn in this funky ass town."
Patrice was amazing.
What a fucking genius that patrice O'Neal. EverytHing this fat Fuck ever said is a masterpiece. Timeless comment.
yeah well now he's dead so there's that
They're two of my favorite comics but fuck that quote is funny
Anthony Jeselnik's voice sounds exactly like John Malkovich.
Damn that is so accurate
but why does he sound just like Malkovich?
No his rhythm does, not his voice at all
No, just kinda
Malkovich + Christopher Walken
Good episode. Comedy shop talk, chimp talk, divorce horror stories. All classic staples of the Joe Rogan experience.
marijumanji whatever dude
boring

Havent seen Jeselnik in ages! Glad to see hes back, on Joe Rogans podcast of all places
John Denver neatooo ill check it out
the best part of the interview is honestly the last 25‘ish minutes where Joe actually asks some good questions about Jeselniks career.
1:05:33 Jamie tickles joe off camera
Anthony is watching Joe interview himself.
nailed it.
Exactly!! 47 minutes in and still waiting for Anthony to talk for more than 1 minute at a time.
I'm tired of people saying, "Joe, let people talk!" 1. It's his show, so people naturally let him lead. 2. He is a 50+ year-old successful comedian who people look up to. Let him swag. We're all here for Joe. Of course we're here for his guests, but this is essentially about Joe.
Facts. :) i havr no idea why everyone here listenens to JRE and subricribes and 80% of the comments are "Joe (enter whatever here) Rogan" or are straight talking shit. I truly don't get it.
I think most of them are projecting their own terrible social skills. Conversations have an ebb and flow to them and this ebb and flow is one that Joe has more or less mastered. He repeats himself a lot, sure, but who wouldn't after having put out well over 1,000 podcasts??? There's only so many untouched experiences one can spread out over such a massive amount of time
Watch Jeselnick's specials. He is amazing. He is a stand-up's stand-up.Committed.
Watched Anthony's special. Cried from laughter.
"I hunt with a bow and arrow"
"Of course"
Lmao.
Anthony Jeselnik is *Hilarious.* One of my top favorite comedians.
Contact your congressmen
He’s OG for sure.
Love his style. He’s F’n Hilarious
I never thought Ant J would be the normal one in this conversation
When they said you cant come back to stand up after a long time I heard Dave Chappelle say "WHAT!?" 😂
Joe "My UA-cam viewers give me long middle names while incorporating DMT references" Rogan.
If you actually made that up kudos. The only one of these that I actually liked.
Ain’t they clever? When they ain’t bitching about a FREE podcast not being live they’re all banging hot chicks. Lololol
Insect Overlord this is the only I’ve actually liked in a while. Props
Solid joke.
Have you done DMT?
I’ve been on a Jeselnik kick for a couple weeks and then he randomly appears on JRE. He’s so underrated- should have blown up much more than he did.
He is my favorite comedian but dark humor isn't for most people. They like more prose and less one liners. Jimmy Carr is hilarious for an example. However I doubt 10% of Americans know who he is. That just means that you aren't just a normal ordinary humdrum person. You like something different than the masses. Sorry bout the long post. Have a good one.
@@miratodc It's not so much about the "horrific shit", but how Jeselnik crafts it, how he delivers it and the reaction it gets. It's almost as if he's crafting the reaction too somehow. Definitely brings an art to it that is quite masterful.. imo.
Agreed. Caligula and Shakespeare are vicious and hilarious.
I love vicious comedy but only if its clever and has a punch. Jeselnik is vicious but its not clever and rarely has a punchline.
Underrated? He hosted last comic standing, had his own Comedy Central tv show and has multiple critically praised specials. He’s highly regarded by fans, comedians and critics.
These type of interviews are called long views. I dumped cable for this. I learn so much more and it’s raw and unedited.
What have you learned? Teach me
You know this podcast is pre covid JRE when Joe just goes right over Anthony’s mention of vitamin D
RIP Billy Conforto 🙏

Been waiting so long for a new Jeselnik special. About time.
@K W of course he is you salty fucking hating ass bitch.
"An hour and 20 minutes is about as long as anyone should hear you talk" Joe Rogan quote from this two hour and ten minute podcast.
Throwback joke references are just fine. Fans are loyal and like to remember those golden lines from previous shows.
Joe "I have been told by the government to stop going live" Rogan
Care to explain?
João Pedro Silva no
Yea. No difference. Except for the fact IT'S NOT LIVE.
@matt Rawlyk Haha it was obviously a joke buddy. Go take a nap and wake up with a sense of humor.
The CIA wouldn't let Rogan go live this time... Anthony Jeselnik knows too much, they just couldn't take the chance.
So glad to see him here. Not enough love for Jeselnik.
Same here, saw him last year with Mo. Terrific stuff, he actually lost his cold stone face for a moment before telling a joke, he managed to get it back but he hated us for making him laugh lol
beginning of this convo, about worrying about stuff on your face, is practically my every day experience whenever i'm telling a story to someone and trying to give it a little excitement. sometimes the occasional snot shot comes out, and you both know it happened, but you gotta smirk it off in acknowledgement and continue the story and hope they aren't focused on that incident the entire time. this is what makes us special from the animals, people.
Jeselnik is the Eminem of comedy roasts.
For a second I thought Bert Kreischer and Dane Cook had a lovechild.
Who says they haven’t 😉
Bert Cook or Dane Kreischer?
@@grimsside7796 Bert is already Bernt Cook
They probably had, but Jeselnik has nothing to do with it.
DGRIFF! Frivkin on Point ☝🏼
Joe Rogan interviews Joe Rogan, featuring Anthony Jeselnik
Not always Rogan's fault
😂
These are meant to be open form conversations not interviews
I've lost count of how many JRE Podcasts I've listened to, but that was the first time I ever seen Jamie.
I dont like how Joe keeps on relating to Jeselnik as a comedian. they are on different levels maan
