Jeselnik says he's not dark but I literally watched and 1 hour and a half of him emotionless and murderously staring at Bobby

very inspiring
Probably one of the most intelligent pieces of advice in an unhelpful advice segment 😆
@@dtoure4953 check out episode 172 around time stamp 1:28:05 it hit me so hard I cried when I first watched it a few months ago
@@jasonbennett2194 great recommendation, thank you. some wise wisdom from Bobby for someone similar to my situation.
Anthony’s unhelpful advice was the best I’ve ever heard on this podcast.
“If the best years of your life are in your 50’s you have lived a successful life”
“You GET to be different”
That was a discerning answer to the kid's dilemma. I'm only two years into them, but they're gearing up to be the best years of my life.
That is well said and true for me. I hate getting older but I am living my dreams now.
It's SO awkward how Bobby will crack a joke and Anthony just stares at him blank faced, every time. I would die.
@@AudibleVisibIe never. That’s why I clicked this as soon as they uploaded it. (sarcasm) Anthony’s mannerisms just never get old, no matter how long you watch
What I love about Anthony Jeselnik is even in the intros before Bobby mentions him, Anthony is so capable of being defiantly funny just by smiling sweetly. As if he's sorta patronizing along the way, just to tickle you. Except at the same time it's genuine, he's a chill guy who doesn't have to cartwheel for attention. He just lets everyone else go off all they want. I love that level of chill. He's obedient on his own terms.
I saw jeselnek walk in front of my car when I was at a red light in LA… I kind of smiled and gave him a head nod when he glanced over at me, he just scowled back with disgust and kept walking
Anthony Jeselnik looks like he's contemplating taking Bobby & Khylyla hostage at any moment, but decides not to because he wouldn't get much ransom in return for them.
"Why are u looking at me?" Bobby should say this to every guest at the beginning.
That "average comic" line was the absolute perfect turn I literally started clapping out loud by my self at 2am
“I own a meat factory and we are actually missing a dog right now”
IM DEAD 😂😂😂😂😂
I know, that part was hilarious! I thought Jesselnik would've loved that one, but nope.
Bobby: "For me, it's one in every 50 jokes that hit." Anthony: "Wait, you've only written 50 jokes in your life?" LMAO. Cold burn.

Bobby's so manipulative it's hilarious to see someone above him put him in his place lol. The Megan Gailey story story summed it up.

Anthony is consistently one of the best guest of every podcast he has been on. Love his no bullshit attitude. He seems so comfortable in his own skin. Very different to almost all other comics.
I like how alert Anthony is, he seems like he’s actually there and listening because even with fame he is well grounded. That’s inspiring to me!
Tearing up hearing Anthony speak about how he feels about Bobby. So sweet! We love you Bobby!

Bobby's natural response to every negative thing ever: "HAHHAhaaha"
It's so funny how it feels like this is the first time Bobby speaks to an actual adult human being that won't follow his game so he knows there is no way around shit, he has to take responsibility. Appreciate the honesty about how lonely Jeselnik was. I’ve been spying on these comedy circles via podcasts like this to keep sane.

Jeselnik’s stand up is comedy gold. It’s not even offensive. It just really dark and the punchlines are super sharp. Very funny comic.
Him having a "shark party" for every time someone was killed by a shark is pretty offensive. Funny, but way more offensive than the jokes he now calls people nazis for.
I find him funny on podcasts but I have trouble watching his specials. A lot of his jokes feel like he found them on some kind of evil laffy taffy wrapper.
Meh, he's good luckily he's the only decent comic going through that peculiar perspective. He might be gold, but it's not obvious.

1:14:25 Anthony brought me to tears talking about Bobby and then killed with a great laugh.
Anyone else catch the vibe that Bobby is scared to return to stand-up and Anthony was low key giving him a pep talk to get back into it?
I think he was making that into a bit, bobby went up a couple weeks ago before he went to Hungary.
Because everyone else has been writing jokes this whole time. Bobby is just gonna get up there and do the same act he’s been doing for 10 years and realize everything has moved ahead of him. Shit. Watch 4 podcasts and you’ll hear every joke he has
Bobby is always looking to justify staying inside and doing nothing but play video games and complain. His success in podcasting has made it so he basically doesn’t have to do anything anymore. It’s kind of too bad. He’s funny and talented but has an excuse for literally everything. No tv shows, no movies, no tours, no special.
I love this combo. They don't fit together at all and still like each other. Perfect.
Never seen Bobby so excited for an intro. U can tell he was hyped lol great episode
