- Just as important as a fault code is the freeze frame data you can find behind it. Recreating the conditions of the fault is key to faster diagnosis.

The replacement of the ERG Valve worked. The Ford "Mechanics" at Ford Kedron Brisbane could not fix it and are hopeless at trouble shooting. Thank you for your help. After replacing the EGR Valve that fixed the problem. Not going back to Ford Kedron again.
Hi mate thank you for explaining that I have the same problem on my 2014 wild track been back to Ford and they say can’t fault it so now I will go back to them with your video and let them watch it cheers I’m so pleased
I have same problem been few years 😢
I have the same issue. Traction control light comes on in the morning after the engine is started a few minutes and puts it into limp mode. Turning the engine off/ on will clear the TC light/ limp mode. This happens 2-3 times and I get an engine warning light, usually after the 2nd time. Then the engine will run fine for the rest of the day with the engine warning light on and the TC light off. I’m going to remove the intake and EGR system and give it all a good clean from the built up carbon over the 100,000Km. Hopefully that solves the issue.
What I don’t understand, what has EGR and Traction control got in common on this vehicle?!? That’s right nothing, so what bright spark designed this Mr Henry?
Did it work?
@@fernandobarossi5713 yes it absolutely fixed the issue. I have another issue now where my exhaust gasses are now black. I am also getting a transmission gear warning light. OBD2 fault code P00BD(00) has now come up. MAF Sensor. I split the inter cooler hose at the jubilee clip when removing it to clean the EGR system. I think I have a leak here somewhere now causing the warnings above.
Also the initial main problem was the EGR valve was stuck closed solid. WD40 and a hammer sorted it out.
@@x-advthailand5582 tks for the tip.
I’ll try to do the dane thing. Merry cristmas my friend.
Same symptoms Thanks . Not dropping pan to start
tbh did not understand nothing in this vid
Me too :(
I have the same problem with my ranger. Do I need to replace the EGR valve?
I seem to have the same problem with my PX ranger, although yesterday I had the transmission and engine warning lights come on too, it always at the same time. Today was just the traction light and the engine was revint but csr not moving accordingly. So what’s the problem, how to fix it.? I went to my mechanic yesterday and thought it was the I drive thst I had on. But I disconnected it and still have problems. I’m now thinking of going to Ford
Did you end up finding out what the problem was? I’ve got this exact problem!
@@nqsurveillanceinstallation5210 yeah common transmission problem. Output shaft speed sensor, also called lead frame I think. Coast $2000 Then a few weeks later some parts in the gearbox broke.cost $3000! 👎🤨
@@cfmotoz8626 was the overall problem the speed sensor? I’ve looked into the issue and appears the common fix is to replace the valve body / lead frame?
@@nqsurveillanceinstallation5210 I think the speed sensor comes with the main part
So what was the outcome? my ford does the same thing
I have the same problem with my PX Ranger.. How can i connect you.
Same here, have you found out what it was?
Omg this just happened to me today with my ford and I’m freaking out What exactly is the problem ?.
