I just did this... I went to their site, picked out two belts, and was having issues matching a brown suede shoes with a belt. I sent the girl on the 'chat help' a link to the actual shoe, and she actually did made some suggestions and she was real-time. I went with a brown canvas. I think it will work. the order is on it's way!

Totally agree with the amazing customer service! They're super supportive and have fantastic response time. They sent me a replacement belt after I cut my original one too short. The belts themselves are really good too

A couple things to say.
1. I love this channel, because Antonio is a family man that is living out his dreams and helping other men improve their image. If a lot of us were honest, some of our own dads never taught us any of this stuff. Lol, so I am very grateful for Antonio's hard work!
2. How do you keep good style in a work uniform? I know that might sound crazy, but I definitely want to have a neat appearance while remaining stylish!

I was just having this issue yesterday. Glad to see that we don't have to exactly match the uppers with the belt and can do the sole as well. That gives one a lot more leeway when accessorizing.
Just got two Anson belts last month. Now I've thrown all my other belts and never looked back. The antiqued-gold buckle is my favourite, such a pleasing to the eye!

Wonderful tips. I have noticed that a frequent qualifier in many of your videos to to wear things with confidence. While it seems to be a straight forward suggestion, I hope that one day you will dedicate an entire video to this topic to further explain and detail how this may be done. Thanks for sharing.

Just spent my entire day at work, and realized I wore a black belt with a medium brown shoe, Gray pant, and a blue and gray pattern shirt.
Shoes had some black in the sole, and not sure if I noted that with my coffee deficient brain.
I'd not say I looked horrible, but I've looked better. Glad I was sitting in my office most of the day!

Antonio, I have had these Anson types of belts for many years. I had bought from an outfit out of Seattle that was selling buckles with military "brass" like Army Infantry crossed rifles or the EGA. Unfortunately, their website went dead so I have been bought replacement straps from Anson. I also bought a couple of belt straps and buckles from Trafalgar.

Shoes and belts match at first thought I thought you crazy. Then you introduced the Anson belt system. There is one belt I like over the other belt. To hell with color matching. But the more I thought about the anson belt system three belts three buckles nine solutions. Plus the 1/4 inch adjustment. Well I think you are on to something here. I like an 1 1/4 wide belt in leather. Holds my pants up and feels good. I just ordered the anson belt system. Thank you for your insight. But I still like my old USMC belt with jeans.

This a great, elegantly great great channel along with gentleman's gazette. But Antonio has this genuine edge to his videos because he provides knowledge and deep know how...he makes you feel you really start to learn there is a whole world out there unknown to many generations about not only how to be dressed but also about the importance of how to be well dressed..AlphaM was my original go-to-mens advice but his lack of original content along with his shameless and time-consuming products placement to the point where you feel he makes videos only for his sponsors, has left me avoiding his videos (although he still knows how to crack a good joke) .So, Antonio please ,one humble question, would a multi squared violet/pink/blue/dark blue be nice to match with a navy blue suit along with a pink/violet pocket square and with brown shoes and brown belt ? Also another two interesting topics for your future videos. a)How we should wear cufflings (patterns,combinations etc) and how we should wear bracelets (especially these ones with the small tied balls that look silly but are recommended everywhere.A video focused on bracelet culture).

buy a color wheel. tape it to the inside of your closet door. colors are way to subtle to go from 7th St. and Flower and think you'll remember correctly by the time you get to Torrance.

I have the problem, that, at the moment, the only watch i have has a brown strap, and i am looking to buy a one with a black strap. But i only have a pair of light suede Chelsea boots and a pair of casual brown leather sneakers.
So, i would have a problem, if i were to buy the watch and wear it with a black belt because then i could only really wear it with the chelsea boots (though that actually wouldn't really match). But it's also getting warmer and then i wouldn't really be able to wear boots.
Should i buy a new pair of black shoes, so i can swap between the shoes when i decide to wear the other watch?
btw, i'm 18 years old, and i'm not really into the whole sneakers (at least those, that look like running shoes)/yeezys/supreme/whatever (like, at all). That's why i took it up a notch and got a pair of leather shoes, but now i don't really know what to do. Because i don't really think you can get the same feeling from a black leather shoe, but i really want the black strap watch. :/
Jacob, I have two watches I regularly alternate (one with a black strap which cannot be changed easily, other with easily interchangeable straps). Whenever I wear one of them with a black strap, I wear a pair black boots with a different colored lace (you can match your outfit there). Blacks are not boring if you carefully choose the right boots with some lace options and play with it.
If confidence is the key then i must say I'm confident to mix match my black and brown belt and shoes....lol. I'm confident to be fashion wrong
Antonio, what is your opinion on wearing contrasting metals.? I sometimes will mix gold or brass toned metals with copper accessories such as a copper wrist band or ring with a gold watch. and or a belt with a gold buckle.

I'm hoping for a dark grey suit, and I know I have to get a blue tie (to match the dress) so here's the question.. can I pull off brown leather shoes? Or maybe ox blood? how about suede shoes ? should i wear suede belt ? or just match the belt with the sole ?
Just pay attention to the overall feel of the shoes, identify the dominant color, and let that be the basis for your choice of belt. The key is complementing, not trying for a perfect 100% match.

It's hard to match well, most belts are done in steel or silver.
Antonio, what's going on? I've just watched your video on the 'style rule' that states that you should match your belt with your trousers, now you're saying it should match your shoes. Which is it??
