At this point its just calming to hear u explain things .
Well, as I get older my style when it comes to sneakers and jeans has matured. I'm more of just wearing dark colored pants that fit with dark sneakers or boots. I wanna maintain that rugged style.
I purchased sneakers and I was impressed. The only issue I have is that Thursday has a very small selection of wide shoes and sneakers. You know us wide foot men like to dress nice too. It's very difficult to find wide shoes for men and that's a bummer.
Got my first pair of Thursdays for a semi-formal wedding in September. Love them so far!

Here in the Midwest, I'm a AJ1 high/low, Dunk low fan. Even wear them to work for some color/personality, as the ICU blue scrubs are mundane every day. I love the smart look, but I would stick out in flyover country. So many men struggle with style here it's sad.
I love dark blue/black Levi's, classic with AJ1s.
My favorite pair are called Biohacks, inspired by Tokyo nightlife. The shirt is always solid and neutral, letting the sneakers shine. It's good to have fun with it in life. I'll rock Js in my 60s NGL, why stop now after 30 yrs.
The key to pulling it off is staying fit. If you're fit, you can wear just about anything.
I was just looking for a video on this very situation. I’m experimenting with brown Levi’s jeans and was looking for what color shoes or boots go with brown loose jeans. I’m a bit of a denim fanatic as I love trucker vest and jackets, but also I like to look put together nicely as I rock my denim look.
I have the toffee low tops from Thursday Boot Co, and I'm actually trying to find the right jeans to pair them with. I may need a new pair that's dark wash with a better taper at the leg opening. The dark wash Levi's I have now, are just slightly too wide at the bottom for sneakers, but they work amazingly well with my boots; especially when single cuffed by about three quarters of an inch.

Thursday Boots are fantastic. Fit well right out of the box and were reasonably priced.
Love the channel despite being 63. Learn a lot. I do have a question. I was watching a video on another channel (a woman discussing men's fashion trends and styles). She mentioned when wearing shorts with low top sneakers, you should not show your shoe laces. Either put them under the tongue or to the side. What is your opinion of this? I tried it and was not comfortable at all. Thanks.

My AJ1s are my go to shoes, from working at the office to attending formal events. I wear them with jeans, chinos, joggers, dress pants and shorts. It's versatile and it fits my style. I'm 50 and I dress casually and rugged since my teens.

Im struggling with the light wash denim and white sneakers combo.
I've discovered Kiziks...good looking dress sneakers that slip on, and even have "false" laces. Sketchers is also doing the heel-give type slip ons, but Kiziks are the best out there.
Thursdays are my go to for shoes now. I just got the black shoes, white shoes, chukka boots and the president boot 🔥 great price for the quality and they look phenomenal

Hello from Montreal, for casual sneakers l wear a pair of Adidas Sambas a black leather top with the white stripes and good sole that grips. They actually have good support when new and are durable. They are considered as indoor soccer shoes that I used in the day when I played. Your videos are great and appreciated. All the best

It seems to me, in all the examples of the jeans swallowing the sneakers, the jeans need to be shortened.
My goto low cut casual shoes is Dexter. Affordable and durable also readily available at your nearest Payless shoe store ❤

Running shoes are still the king if you going to do more than five miles of fast paced walking in a day, like people in NYC or Boston where parking a car is difficult and expensive. There people primarily walk and hop on and off public transportation. Hey that is my train runs through your mind as you break into a sprint. Sure you don't pair running shoes with a suit, but on one Boston trip I didn't pack running shoes and my legs hurt for a week after returning home. If I pack running shoes for the same trip, I come home with no leg pain. Sure if you drive a car everywhere or have to only walk 3-4 miles per day then go style over function.
I wear Adidas Superstars in the normal colours of black or white. Very versatile. Goes with anything.

Hey Antonio, my family and I are off to Japan in 4 weeks for the F1, I’ve seen from watching UA-cam vids on the country that you have to take your shoes off a lot, I like to dress smart/casual which looks just plain smart to most people, can you suggest some smarter slip on shoes I could pair with a suit or sports jacket please?

Regarding the shoes seemingly oversized by the skinny/slim jeans - this is not necessarily bad for someone who has a smaller foot. Women look at men's choice of shoes and good proportions, if the volume of the pant is overbearing on the shoe - that's not good either. There is a golden ratio, and a categorical statement that skinny jeans are bad for apparent visual oversizing of the foot is not totally true.
It's not just age but build, i think if you stay slim can pull off more variety into your 40s

I have a couple boat shoes for summer wear but they don't go the best with Jeans. I usually wear boots with jeans but this helps if the climate would work better for sneakers than boots. I grew up wearing running shoes all the time. That's what we did. I am too old for that :)
They’re are plenty of timeless running shoes that look fine as we age. Ie. New balance 574 Saucony jazz or Saucony shadow original. Time less classics.

If I wear jeans, they are dark or medium wash by Haggar. They are pleated and creased. They look best in the correct length. I like to wear leather shoes with them. If I wear sneakers or canvas Sperry, then I wear chinos.

The crap thing is that those of us that have arthritis in the big toe joint have limited shoes to choose from and most are sport looking shoes so we do what we can and automatically we should get a pass!
I would say no to super skinny but relaxed skinny, definitely. It’s the easiest fit for sneakers

Yeah I tried their sneakers and didn't like the fit either. Their boots on the other hand are great and I own several pairs. I prefer a pair of classic Stan Smiths for my casual looks and also have a few pairs of Greats dress sneakers.
@@RealMenRealStyle I'm in Australia and the delivery took a few weeks so I just put it down to a learning experience and donated them to charity. They are really narrow across the toes.

With to go relax with jeans, go with classic style / vintage style sneakers with the 70s 80s look. Airforce1 , airjordans, superstar, stansmith, chucktaylors, etc…. Not some new model bullshit.
I went to my local red cross and burned the donated clothes and replaced them with three piece suits.

It depends on your body type. Slim fit doesn't work for everyone. It can work as long as you're wearing proper fitting jeans and it works with your overall style.
Depends on the sneakers. They don't look good with chunky sneakers like air force 1's because they make your ankles look smaller, which makes it them look like clown shoes

From a woman's point of view, baggy jeans are never in style.
People look shorter when they are wearing baggy pants.
Not that there is anything wrong with being a short person but most of us would prefer not to be as small as we are.
I watch your Channel all the time and you give great advice. I've learned a lot from watching your channels especially as I'm getting older. One thing I have to say is that you talk way too fast. Slow it down just a little bit. Your tips on style and how to dress are fantastic, most of which I already know but you have taught me to stop trying to dress like him in my late twenties. Rather than fooling around with rolling, stacking, cuffing or excess length dragging on the ground, just get your inseam measured. Get jeans that are the correct length to begin with. If your "brand" doesn't have different lengths...find a different brand! Sorry, but as any woman worth her salt will tell you, pants that are too long, regardless of what you do ..just looks bad.
Perfect jeans should hit right at place where your leg becomes your foot.
For "dress" sneaks I think of Geox, Sketchers and even Clarks which have the comfort and tech of sneaks but the look of a casual shoe, plus you can get complimentary colours and easy to clean and shine. (Secret - Women love these!)

To be fair, he's got a production staff to pay, and a huge family to take care of at home. His library is full of free advice, I highly recommend browsing around through the older videos. Lots of style gems in there!

Men please get jeans that properly fit you. Cuffed Jeans make you look like a child, especially with sneakers. If it's tapered properly there are two steps: put on your pants then put on your sneakers. Easy as that.

First 1 is that no one should fold their jeans , absolut no-go , go to a tailer and have it lengthend correct for a few bucks. Second is about colours etc , it totally depends on the sneaker .

Durring the summer, we like to role up jeans/ chinos while wearing no show socks to keep cool. Having them permanently shortened to expose ankle would be stupid because they couldn't be worn with anything else

@@jt1559 No, that is confusing fashion with STYLE. Expensive jeans go in and out of fashion and only started catching on more steadily in about the past ten years and now you have the boutique denim trend, but mostly still not considered appropriate for less casual situations, etc.

@@edennis8578 Cow leather is definitely not sustainable. Even claiming it to be renewable isn't true, as you have to kill an animal each time. Compare the production of leather to plant based materials. Emissions, land clearing, waste, etc.
