This with riskrunner means you basically dont die to adds in the room as well. I also went prismatic with star eater nova. The transcendence grenade form warlock pulls in all the mini dudes so you can easily hit them all.

What is making his grand overture reload at times such as this? 50:23 Edit: Found it. He uses the Concussive Reload boost tonic which makes other weapons reload whenever Concussive Reload procs. 43:45
Amazingly, Salvations grip off all things is really good here too. It does the stasis chunk damage pretty well. Not quite as devastating as Ward cliff but still surprisingly good.

For the first encounter I recommend running a heavy GL with Deconstruct instead of Bait and Switch. It procs on the brigs and deals like 40% more damage while reloading itself on hits.
Hey Eso! Thanks to this video, I solo flawlessed VH on my third attempt with a 2-phase Raneiks and 3-phase Puppeteer. For Raneiks, I used Rain of Fire for quickly reloading Wardcliff. Therefore, my aspects were Icarus Dash and Heat Rises; you don't really need Hellion here because Sunbracers are enough by themselves while Heat Rises allows for Restoration x2. To get the 2-phase, I snapped and grenaded the servitors (in SOF), and then shot Wardcliff side-to-side across all of the servitors which provided best chunking (almost 1-phased on one of my failed attempts). I usually got 5-6 Wardcliff shots this way, with 1 manual reload between Icarus Dash cooldowns. For Puppeteer, the only difference is that I used a shotgun prior to damage phase, which was better at killing marauders and the clones. You must pre-load 15-20 missiles to get the 3-phase from what I could tell, which is a bit harder with immune panels fixed, but easy enough.

You can three phase first boss with a Star Eater’s Nova and Parasite with some reload mods, I’ve gotten it before on my runs but not during my flawless run largely due to messing up a damage rotation

3 phase on warlock is crazy bro, I went with a safe 7 phase with titan. To be fair tho I had 2 phases that were chalked so I had to just stay alive lol
I think what’s cool about this dungeon, more so than any dungeon we’ve had, is the sheer variety. I’ve seen 5+ solo flawless warlock builds that have all been totally different from each other, but still do the job. This isn’t like Warlord’s, where you either ran Sunbracers + Well or Dawn Chorus + Daybreak.
Great run! At 18:54 you shoot a wardcliff volley and it's automatically reloaded again. I can't spot anything in your linked DIM loadout that can do this. Can you elaborate?
Warlock is probably the safest for healing methods, Titan is probably the best for the servitor boss just because of the stasis super but otherwise sunspots are all they really have to stay alive in the final boss phases.
melee clones can hit you and the lightning sometimes kills you anyways even though you aren't on the ground. You could still go there, but will have to time some jumps with the lightning strikes to try to ensure they dont kill you. The antenna doesnt have the same issue because its more off the ground.
So have two loadouts with the same armor set, one of the loadouts has triple surges and all your damage mods, and the other loadout just put on special finisher and whatever orb generation mod you want to run and then a regular universal build for like regular stuff, and use the regular loadout before damage and right before you start damage swap to the surge loadout, I’d recommend having double time dilations on your class item on the damage loadout 🫡
Special finisher will allow you to get the charges and maintain them infinitely as long as you don’t use them, while surges will automatically begin depreciating them
@@rmriley33 ye. basically any of the yellow armor charge mods on the class item only take away your armor charge if you hit a finisher. So long as you dont finish anything youll have it forever. allows you to have ammo scavs or recup on your legs during mechanics. Then right before dps swap to a loadout that used all the same abilities, aspects, fragments, and probably same heavy since you dont want to lose ammo (swapping special weapons is generally fine because the ammo transfers a lot better, so long as its in the same slot obv), but put surges on your legs and as many time dilation on your class item as you can. Because you had 3 armor charge stored already, the game just starts using those for your surges. then just swap back after dps and rinse and repeat
I wonder if sunbracers with touch of flame would be effective if you melee the suppressor shank and then throw 5 at the ceiling, grab sup and start DPS.

I was wondering how he went from no surge no arc surge x2 when the DPS phase started around 50:00. Does anyone know? Is it as simple as changing your loadout to another with arc surge mod on boots while having armor charges?

There is an artifact mod on the seasonal artifact that is just breach and clear with a new name, damaging a boss with any grenade launcher weakens them, which translates to yellow numbers. That's why he hotswaps to that stasis GL, he's getting the benefit of that and the other mod that increases arc damage vs targets afflicted with stasis effects.
They keep chaining from itself with ember of ashes (extra scorch stacks) and whatever the other fragment is that causes ignitions to apply scorch stacks to other targets
if you mean for last, he is using Calus minitool. But any incandescent smg (or other weapon type) will work. Typical ones would be zaolis from Kings fall, the summoner from trials, epochal integration from neomuna, lunas howl from onslaught, Ammit from the enclave, etc. For smgs specifically your other options are bug out bag which i think you can only get from xur or banshee when they randomly have it, or no survivors from ghosts of the deep. really any solar weapon would work to extend radiant and restoration which is why he is running calus, the community just tends to favor incan ones for the aoe

@@Maddog1296hardly a massive advantage, last gen console players also have 30 fps and they didn't go off doing crazy feats every Tuesday. You still need area awareness, strategy, reflexes and knowledge of how to make and use a build effectively in an encounter, all things he clearly has, regardless of if he uses 30 or 60 fps or more. It's still more legit than most runs that abuse encounter skips, weapon exploits or whatever else cheese forever revealed that week to get past the boss.
will you try run again with some new weapons, everybody uses grandoverture , what is second best for final boss, maybe 1k voices,sleeper or some gl, bc no more missile panel prep. or if you can tell in my comment what you think is now the safest and best for antena spot without grandover.

this with a hotswap to Sanguine Alchemy for the DPS phase got me ~3mil per damage phase during my solo. Dimensional Hypotrochoid goes hard.
Wardcliff can actually output more damage than Eso was able to show here, if you can do the dash reloads it’s a two phase

Exactly. Titan and warlock have ways to heal/tank all that damage. Hunter is by far the hardest class to do this on.

I worked out the final boss takes around 400 shots of grand overture 🤓 you can get max 154 shots of ammo in per damage phase (without scavs or drops)
Loading the missles off of the operator panel had me rolling haha
People were doing that during contest mode, it's not a new strategy.

Instead of going on top of that antenna beam tower thing can you also go on that oil tank crate?
The problem with the oil tank is the clones can punch you
melee clones can hit you and the lightning sometimes kills you anyways even though you aren't on the ground. You could still go there, but will have to time some jumps with the lightning strikes to try to ensure they dont kill you. The antenna doesnt have the same issue because its more off the ground.

It's just a quick swap to rift so that he doesn't start the boss fight with no class energy when he swaps to stag.
I did try the spot and with stag and 2 arc resist 1 concussive my light level are 2009. Any suggestions?

It's to proc the stags ability that gives your rift back when you're low hp. That's how he get's it back so fast.

how does your armor charge not decay during second encounter?
Just make sure you don't have surges or a mod that consumes them over time, and only have something like special finisher to keep them

@@Maddog1296hardly a massive advantage, last gen console players also have 30 fps and they didn't go off doing crazy feats every Tuesday.
You still need area awareness, strategy, reflexes and knowledge of how to make and use a build effectively in an encounter, all things he clearly has, regardless of if he uses 30 or 60 fps or more.
It's still more legit than most runs that abuse encounter skips, weapon exploits or whatever else cheese forever revealed that week to get past the boss.
