I have said this before, but will say it again - these are not car videos anymore. This is pure art. After every video I think Petrolicious can't get any better and then again you drop this masterpiece. Amazing cinematography, fantastic music. Just wow.
The fact that your films keep getting better and better is utterly mind-boggling! This was absolute perfection. The score was impeccable and made for the perfect script.
I love your videos but this in particular. Really struck me in a soft spot. I finished a few months ago, restoring my grandfather’s 1955 Austin Healey 100 “Le Mans” factory one off Racer. My da and his father detuned and rebuilt the car in the early sixties and I did a complete nut and bold concourse restoration over the past eight and a half years. Seeing this video made me tear eyed knowing that my dad and now I got to drive in his da’s old racer. This drew a deep emotion from me and I thank you.
I got to me, too. My dad was away at sea (sub commander) a lot when I was a kid. The other officers, home from the sea, would look out for us. One of my fondest memories was cruising around the sub base in Lt. Cowan's 1967 Fiat Spider that he'd brought back from Italy. Years later, I was leaving work heading out to where my beat-up Datsun should have been, only to find a 1980 Fiat Spider 2000 in its place with a note from my wife on the windshield.
Pure magic! No words. No sound. Enthralling and atmospheric. I could smell and hear the car in my head. How can you improve on this? Simply brilliant. More please......
Mmmm, like traveling back to my youth, everything the model cars, trains, bike....and now my car....wow. Like you opened my diary. Details are different, same story. Thank you
I had a ....tear.. Being born in 55 growing up in the 60s and 70s there was in my small city a kid older than me that had an older brother...they had HEALEYS....several them went thru their ownership. They always had a powerful sound, a heft built into their looks, at the same time fragile in their aluminium .A big chunk of a motor And two seats in a cock pit , like a biplane. I finally many years later ran my own restoration sports car shop and restored about 17 big healeys And a 100-4 converted with cam carbs, air box .I even found one 100-4 to restore for myself. Mostly because of that kid and his older brothers passion for Healey spilled over onto me... After those , brothers...I fell upon two other guys ...broke down in a rented garage replacing the race motor in their original GT40 , to continue their vacation to cape cod from NY......helping those guys for 4 days ...sealed my Sports Car passion before I was 14. 64 now and personally restoring a 240Z and a back dated 280Z.... Ive heard people call them modern Healey's ,.... thats just fine with me. I just call them "My Japanese Ferarri's"
What a stunning and emotive piece of visual art Petrolicious! Anyone who has has a childhood dream of owning such a special car will totally understand the sense of emotion in this movie...it brought me to tears as one such lad who has loved the 100S Healey since boyhood. Filmed in the beautiful hills in South Australia, AHS3906 is in its element. Bravo to you Tony Parkinson and 10/10 on this one Petrolicious.
Bravo! You turned my home into ART. This may well be your best video ever. I recognised the landscape before I saw the number plate. This is where I drive my GTV's. A truly special place where it is just you, the car and the landscape. Once again I say: Bravo. And not a word was spoken. Your courage has been rewarded.
Stunning, evocative...pure magic. Lovingly done. Creative mastery and not a word...just images and the great sound track. Congratulations. Tony you are a lucky man...enjoy.
Petrolicious, that was a great video. Good, simple story. Fantastic cinematography. And gorgeous scenes of a classic British sports car. But....way, way too short! Not to mention, not nearly enough of the actual 100S (not 1000S btw.) Hopefully this is a teaser for a much longer video? Thanks Petrolicious.
The best video you have ever done. Quite possibly the best i have ever seen of its type. That kid was me. I will never forget my first ride in the AH 100. I even got to drive it! I remember the way the rear tires chirped going around tight corners. How the back end would bounce sideways over bumps in a turn. The sound of that purring motor. It was/is grand. Cars today have no soul.
Another Masterpiece ! No doubt it took all of us petrolheads back to our simpler boyhood days and reminded us of how our love for cars, trains and planes started !
From 2:09 I had a strong sense that this was filmed in my beautiful country and lo and behold. Some of my favourite driving trips have been in South Australia - a beautiful place to tour. One day if I'm a very lucky boy, I hope to do it in a Healey! Cheers and thank you Petrolicious for yet another wonderful car experience. Cheers from Sydney - Dave
Beautiful video. My dad owned an Austin-Healey 100 that he bought shortly after he graduated university with a degree in mechanical engineering in '55. He raced in it SCCA events and eventually holed a piston at one such race. There was a Hot Rod magazine article that inspired him to replace the broken original engine with a Chevy V8. I think he still has the article but he no longer has the Healey. It was the car he had when he met my mom and which he eventually sold so he could marry her.
I love it. No words necessary. That is me right there. Different landscape, different car, different hat, but that is my life, my heart and soul . Excellent video . Thank you.
In my opinion the big Healys are among the most beautiful cars ever made. I restored the body/chassis of a 100M, not mine, years ago, very simple box pressings, you could make most of the pieces with a simple sheet metal brake. The body pieces were another matter. There are several big Healys in the lakes region of New Hampshire, where I now live. It is a sign of Spring when they come out of their garages.
South Australian registered car. I noticed that there was a sign with the word Wilunga, which is a small town south of Adelaide, near McLaren Vale. Great video with lots of love and affection for an iconic British sports car. Well done Petrolicius, alwas making great videos for lovers of classic cars
Such a perfect video, I think I know the feeling that women feel when watching an "emotional movie". Damn, I ended up in tears for some reason, great video!
I'm surprised at the comments, I thought that was ridiculously over indulgent and such a tragedy. Waiting patiently to hear the actual story god forbid we could hear the car or see the engine. Wow, why would you change a great format...... Adelaide, you've done it again.
Une chaîne à la base incroyable qui se révèle de mieux en mieux à chaque vidéo et celle là est particulièrement réussi. Un grand bravo j’adore et je partage !!!
Very nice videography. Sadly this particular video left me wanting much more. Such as the sound of the car, the owner's story of how he acquired the car, the sound of the car, the owners story of what had to be done to the car to bring it back up to snuff, the sound of the car, the owner's perspective of how it feels to drive the car, and of course the sound of the car.
I have said this before, but will say it again - these are not car videos anymore. This is pure art. After every video I think Petrolicious can't get any better and then again you drop this masterpiece. Amazing cinematography, fantastic music. Just wow.
How does every petrolicious video I click on give me goosebumps. This channel simply has no comparison. The best.
Petrolicious, you've outdone yourselves! Conveying love without a single word. Brilliant!
So artfully nostalgic without being too heavy handed. What a beautiful short. Bravo for creating such an emotional piece.
The fact that your films keep getting better and better is utterly mind-boggling! This was absolute perfection. The score was impeccable and made for the perfect script.
Jesus wept guys, this is the best thing I've seen for a while. Wow.

Marissa Flagielo would love to see your car! Any links of pictures?
Caesar Guzman, I have a few pic of it on my FB wall. There are more pics in a closed Healey owners group on FB as well.
man that was beautiful, I felt the world of the little boy and the world of his older self crossing paths on that runway. Nice job!
Pure magic! No words. No sound. Enthralling and atmospheric. I could smell and hear the car in my head. How can you improve on this? Simply brilliant. More please......

1955 must've been a dark year for motorsport.
Words cannot describe the beauty of this clip, make me wanna cry, don't know if I'm the only one but it is bringing up a lot of memories ! Well done !
I had a ....tear..

The beginning with the trees is pure magic. Beautiful.
There are more 100s on road today than were built !
That opening shot is gorgeous. Music is fantastic and the film is simply brilliant. Bravo.
This should be nominated for short film of the year!!
Matching number between childhood and maturity, brain and heart, dream and reality.
Thank you so much Petrolicious for this magic and amazing video !
I'm speechless guys! This is art, and i'm so happy to see it again and again!
What a stunning and emotive piece of visual art Petrolicious! Geez, the quality of these videos is just outstanding. I wake up early every Tuesday just to see what is next. Many thanks...
What an absolute treat this was to watch.
The pure essence of Petrolicious without words. A piece of ART!!

A truly special place where it is just you, the car and the landscape. Once again I say: Bravo. And not a word was spoken. Your courage has been rewarded.
The most beautiful car ever built. I had one 1961 model, should have never sold it.
I think this is the most heartfelt video you've ever made.
Beautiful, moving, brings a grown man to tears - possibly the best vid yet !
Stunning, evocative...pure magic. Lovingly done. Creative mastery and not a word...just images and the great sound track. Congratulations. Tony you are a lucky man...enjoy.

It's a lovely story, but this video is a true work of art. Thank for all of the effort to present this beautiful tale.
That was quite extraordinarily beautiful. Absolutely outstanding.

Really cranked up the nostalgia dial in this one, and gorgeous cinematography.
Art! Thank you Petrolicious! Thank you Gerry Coker!
Another Masterpiece ! No doubt it took all of us petrolheads back to our simpler boyhood days and reminded us of how our love for cars, trains and planes started !
One of the few cars that just stirs me. Thank you.
Wow... I have no words. Absolutely stunning!
Finally a great one for Petrolicious for a long while! Love this style!

You just made it to "Best Videos in Internet History" congratulations.

Your best. Beautiful movie, beautiful story, beautiful car.
WOW! Beautiful film! Absolutely stunning!
Jesus guys. Your car videos are normally very good but this feels like a Hollywood produced film. Absolutely stunning filming and editing.

I love it. No words necessary. That is me right there. Different landscape, different car, different hat, but that is my life, my heart and soul . Excellent video . Thank you.
When you think that can't be better and then you see this video " no single word was spoken but everything was said"
It captures every boy growing up and why a vehicle can be obsessed over, great great video, they continue to get better!
Boys will be boys forever...man, thanks for that masterpiece!
The videos of this channel was always brings me to another places
Damn! Nothing better than a classic car
No words spoken and no words needed.
The story, the cinematography, the objects...this one quickly made it to my favourite Petrolicious films. Thank you :)
That was beautiful. Nothing more to add........
No words . but I know that story, because I live it.
Beautiful video, great story!
That was so evocative and touching. Nice work as always.
Just stunning! Beautiful car and some beautiful Australian scenery. Loved it!
Beautifully filmed and very emotive. Filmed in my local South Australia, hence the gorgeous scenery! Keep up the great work!!
Without saying a single word in less than 5 minutes I was moved by this beautiful cinematography. I’ve watched movies with less impact.
THE BEST so far! feel like I was that boy when I watching this work of art .
What a great video, I got my BT7 when I was 15.
In my opinion the big Healys are among the most beautiful cars ever made. The quality of your shoots is simply unbeatable. Congratulations!

Great video with lots of love and affection for an iconic British sports car. Well done Petrolicius, alwas making great videos for lovers of classic cars
This channel has been needing an Austin Healey video for ages! Bring us an owner story next :-D
The owner also owns a winery in South Australia and the SA plates are the original vin number of the 100S
Can someone please identify the music that's being used with this short film.. It's tearfully beautiful...
was that a preview of a remake of the curious case of benjamin button or an abacrombie and fitch commercial?
I live just down the road from where those cars built. Sad that such a long line of motoring heritage has gone.
Such a perfect video, I think I know the feeling that women feel when watching an "emotional movie". Damn, I ended up in tears for some reason, great video!
This was visual poetry!
I seem to remember this video on a different platform with a different musical score. Any help locating it would be appreciated.
You made it again! Beautiful.
Very inspirational. Nice work Petrolicious!
Beautiful piece guys!
very emotional story... for a car lover, old type especially
Petrolicious is a smile maker channel indeed :)
Stunning car and editing, what more can you say.
The best Petrolicious vídeo ever...congratulations for this masterpiece.
art. brings a tear to my eye
My new favorite Petrolicious video. Thank you for making and sharing it.
I'm surprised at the comments, I thought that was ridiculously over indulgent and such a tragedy. Waiting patiently to hear the actual story god forbid we could hear the car or see the engine. Wow, why would you change a great format...... Adelaide, you've done it again.
Wow, this is beautiful.
gorgeous car, fantastic cinematography!
Fantastic montage, fellas! One of your best IMHO, and those Austin Healeys were just SO beautiful!
Une chaîne à la base incroyable qui se révèle de mieux en mieux à chaque vidéo et celle là est particulièrement réussi. Un grand bravo j’adore et je partage !!!
Superb quality - amazing!
How is this any different from the Toyota Prius ?
amazing as always. can anyone help me by telling what is this sound track of the music plz?
Filmed in Australia! I'm impressed, are there more Australian car stories to come? Can't wait.
I love Austin Healey's. Favorite colours ice blue & white. I Thumbs up.
Nice to see my home State of South Australia in a Petrovid.
Un film magnifique et une bien belle histoire pour présenter cette très belle healey.
Félicitations pour ce très beau moment 👏👏👏
Petrolicious that is my life story , except the car was different . If I only could give you 100 thumbs up ! Thank you .
Wow something different, beautiful video.
Brought me to tears
God Damn!!! This is beautiful. SUPERB.
Wow, great piece, very well done
Artistry in motion
Some nice cinematography and storg but why are the magnificent 100S car sounds paved over by the music?
Stunning short film. Would love to see more of these in the future. Also the swirly bokeh at 2:15 😱
Very nice videography.
