Great video, I was trying to figure out where to connect to power without going through the firewall and your video solved that for me. I assume this turns on and off with the lights? Also how has the installation held up overtime is the adhesive holding it in place well?
Love the video. I wish you lived in Houston Tx. So you can do my wife's alfa romeo stelvio. Keep up the updates on the stelvio. How's the V- light kit doing now.
Great video, I'll have to copy you on the dip method. Your light strip is much longer than mine. Did you get the Stelvio one? Mine ends right with the stiletto.
I measured and got Sean to customize the length for me. I have a Giulia but think the install should be about the same on the Stelvio. The CF overlay from Madness adds a bit of length to the strip over the standard grill. So use a tape measure to determine the exact length you will need.
@@joeschmoe5608 I had Sean do a custom length of 35.5 inches. Please note that I have a carbon fiber grill overlay that requires extra length plus wanting the lights to go around the two top corners. I use the 90 degree end that fits perfectly through the grill as shown in the video. Thanks for watching.
Hey Daniel, Thanks for the detailed video. Am new to the hydro dipping and wanted to know the primer name you used for the low gloss spray… Thank you!!!
Learning the hard way, the hydrographic film will not stick to the rubberized light strip without first spraying it with three coats of clear coat. I used the same clear coat as primer that I used after the dipping. It was from Southern Hydrographics.
No need to disconnect the battery. Kit cables into a fuse box located under the hood near the passenger side firewall. Be careful. See video for wiring and follow Sean’s instructions.
@@kyda3434 Sean Kurt’s has a web site hosted on Etsy called InnovationXSean.com where he sells the kit. If you want it with the wrap-around look you will need to ask Sean for a light strip that is 35.5” for the Giulia that has a CF overlay or it might be best to measure it out to the exact length you need. Also request the 90 degree end cap for best wiring through the grill.

Great video, thanks for sharing. Southern Hydrographics has sold out, any recommendations on other carbon fiber clear hydrographic films? Thanks

Did you disconnect the battery too or put fabs over 30ft

@@kldiet hey there, what measurements did you use? I have a Giulia and would like to replicate the way you did this as it looks very form fitting

@@kldiet yes, I have the same carbon fiber overlay I believe from Madness Autoworks, thanks for the info and the very helpful video!
Any advice on an installation that only has the regular grille finish(silver)?

great video, THANK YOU!!
Karl, my V is black. Any recommendations on making the light strip a dark color so the strip isn’t too visible during the day?
does this work on 2022?
Could something small like this void my maintenance warranty 🤔
Not at all !
Where can I buy this kit ?
Did you ever find out ?
Do we need to disconnect the battery?
