Yep! That's the plan. To review it basically three weeks and after all of the stats have settled in and I can test full value of the watch compared to others like it on the market
@fitgearhunter I'm torn between this watch and the Huawei GT4, which has pretty good heart rate tracking. I like the features on the Amazfit Balance, but Huawei has a better looking watch in the GT4. Which would you recommend I buy?
Great review, again one of the best review in the internet. I really love Amazfit watches but the heart rate previously was inaccurate. I am really glad that they have improve their metrics.
I was hoping that you would review this watch. If they did manage to improve their accuracy, which was the only flaw on Amazfit watches, then beware Garmin. Whose is this watch for? Looking forward to your in-depth assessment. Thanks!
Yesterday i get my balance but i will propably send it back or replace on the black one with silicon strap. I got my grey with nylon strap but in some of the lights that's look like pink/purple and i dont like it at all. I Tought to go for gt4 classic but gps last around 10h is not for me and no payment. Venu 3 has almost everything but plastic design. So i consider to replace the color of balance:).
Also, the huawei watch gt 4 is out now, wondering if you'll give it a review. The gt3 scored pretty well in your last review, althought I think the amazfit will have better features
Would love to know how you think it compares to the Garmin Venu 3? I got the.Amazfit Balance a couple of weeks ago and can't believe how impressed I am. It has training effect which the Venu doesn't. Venu links with music streaming services and better for responding to texts with Android. On both watches I couldnt get the voice assistant to work right. But the Balance is $220 cheaper too..hard to justify going to the Garmin IMO.
I keep going back and forth between those 2 watches. I can get the Venu 3 for $300 which makes it even harder. How are you finding the accuracy with the 2 watches?
@halannhiga9284 I am not the best expert in testing accuracy and itdepends on accruracy for what. But the Garmin is probably more accurate for heart rate and calories, but overall calorie burn from my CrossFit workouts for the Balance is very similar for what I would expect from the workout. Sleep tracking seems better on the Venu too. But my sleep score seems more reflective how I feel from the Balance. Both are supposed to track naps, but the Balance so far hasn't picked up one. I am not much of a runner so haven't tested the GPS on the Balance yet. But it did work great on the Venu. I just wish the Venu had training effect and load. But for $300 that's a game changer. Any chance you can share how to get in on that? Thx!
So sorry for the delayed response and yes I totally agree. It really is a wrestling match between these two. Myself I would definitely count on the reliability and consistency and absolutely the algorithms and metrics of Garmin. I don't know what you are finding with the readiness score on the amaze fit balance, but it is always giving me mid 70s at the lowest, even if I got a definitively lower amount of sleep the night before. I'm gonna take some time to really lay out all of the metrics and compare them analytically to Garmin and to WHOOP, but for now I don't know if it's giving me clear enough or reliable enough feedback
@@fitgearhunter Thanks! This seems to be the consensus when comparing the two, at least among others that I’ve asked. Guess I was just hoping amazfit would have finally stepped their game up enough. Interested to see how your accuracy review goes with the Amazfit.
Nice review, I am very tempted to get this watch as long as I can get curve working on it so I can pay for things with it. Currently in 2 minds either getting this or tic pro 5.
Looks awesome, it would be a leap of faith for many who don’t identify with the brand. I just purchased an Instinct 2X off the back of your reviews! Really loving it! Thanks
Really like it, I wanted something I could knock around a bit without worrying. I have done a few Max HR track sessions and the HR monitor seemed very accurate and seemed to pick up changes of speed without lag. Still trying to work out the sets and reps feature for the gym though 😉. But I do love the flash light and morning report. And as you also stated, it’s kind to ‘older’ eyes! Thanks again, your reviews are awesome 👏
Would love a one month later detailed review to see how the watch has adapted to you plus a comparison with something like a Garmin 265
265 more toward athletic sport. Should compare to venu 3

Great review and great watch. Cant wait for your HR test.
Yep! Coming soon!
Looks like a impressive watch. Looking forward to the full review. Especially HR accuracy. Happy Sunday!
Yes completely! Running the daily analysis now so will have a lot of details to come later!
@@fitgearhunterI like your reviews. You always add details others miss. This looks right up my ally. How is it so far?
Awesome! Good start, let's see how the training load and recovery look like over time, factoring in your sleep and stress etc
Sorry for delay and yes completely!
Great review, again one of the best review in the internet. I really love Amazfit watches but the heart rate previously was inaccurate. I am really glad that they have improve their metrics.
Is this true? I had gtr 4 and especially on weightlifting the accuracy was really bad .
If it is good now with balance definetely i will buy it again
Yes in the middle of fully testing the heart rate accuracy now! I will have a full and detailed/analytical review out soon!
@fitgearhunter Any updated thoughts on HR? I am eyeing a Garmin but really appreciate your opinion. I am anxiously awaiting the full review.

Yes sure thing! Definitely looking forward to breaking down all the details of what value it offers. Thank you!
Lovely watch. Design team did well.
Sorry for delay and 1000% agree. It is a really awesome looking Watch
great video!hope you can test watch only mode
I love this watch ❤❤❤
Nice. FGH: do you have an iphone? I wonder how generally notifications come out on it.

Yes then definitely replace it! The dark gray one is absolutely awesome looking. Awesome.

I would love to review that Watch, but don't have the ability to get access to it unfortunately!
Does it have GPS, and is it possible to view the covered route on an app?
Yes absolutely has GPS, dual band GPS, and you will see a map after your workouts on the app itself in the workout summary
@@fitgearhunter thanks so much for the reply
@@personmcperson5740 sure!

Hey 8m when can we expected deep review?
Likely in about a week. Need to finalize heart rate accuracy testing first
@@fitgearhunter till know is accure and test sensor? I like to order IT and test IT before saturday just for b.day😁
After watching, I can hardly see any difference with my GTR2. All the same function. Thank you for saving me from buying this watch
finaly whatsapp pictures ?
Don't think so! But I have not tested that
Could be nice.venu3 Has this features but is almost double price and looks cheap/plastic.
The heart rate tracker for weigh liffiting and calisthenics are good?

No changing of font size that I have uncovered, sorry!
