after watching ur video, i bought a new amazfit balance to replace my Garmin F55 without hesitation because of the attractive price level. My F55 battery was drained out after 19 m operating while my Polar vantage battery had gone after 38 months running. I was quite disappointed for the life of this kind of gps watches. however, i was so surprised at the amazing watch face selections with the big size display of amazfit balance. i like it very much.

@@TechMishka I’ve found the battery life to be much superior on the T-Rex 2 compared to the Balance, but it’s still better than most premium watches on battery life so I’ll take that on the chin as the NFC was what I wanted the most, I work all over Europe in a truck with many weeks away so the T-Rex 2 was amazing 👍

I ended up returning mine and going back to my GTR 4 Limited Edition. The balance just felt cheap in comparison and with there not being any NFC payments available in America It wasn't much of an upgrade, especially losing the standard wireless charging and stainless steel build was present in the limited edition of its predecessor. I will admit though the system was extremely snappy and the battery life lasted me 6 days on the charge with always on display and 24/7 monitoring versus 4 days on my GTR 4 LE
Nfc payments and 14 day battery life!? Sounds great for the price if only there was a option under 200usd. Is the AOD only one style with the digital display as you showed or is the other options?? Thanks for sharing with us

Man at $150... How is it not talked about. I thought Amazfit was some junk brand until going down the rabbit hole of research and seeing what value it has. Its tracking is basically on par with the Galaxy Watch Ultra
you can get it at a really good price right now. and there have been a good number of updates since this watch came out to improve it so it's actually a very good buy. needs a screen protector (bezel ones are best) to avoid scratches tho

These are my priorities, and also battery life, considering it's not a real smart watch, although it has basic apps. I read it can make and answer the calls via bluetooth. Good! I had amazfit gtr4 ,i loved it ,and zepp app is great but the heart sensor was really bad , in weightlifting couldn't measure continuously,only one minute later . I was really close to buying Amazfit Balance ..amazing watch ...however it all comes down to Accuracy. Seems like Amazfit made a lot of improvements but I think they are still behind ...I got Huawei GT4 ..and accuracy is amazing. But it seems that if Amazfit keeps improving their sensors and algorithms they will have a killer watch on their hands.
I had a Huawei GT 2, now a GT Runner and both measure steps even in the car. I drive and look at the display as my steps increase. It takes 2,000 steps per working hour in the car... GT Runners are also absolutely incapable of calculating gradients. Even if I climb three floors a day, then I drive the car all day to work, and after work my watch shows that I have climbed maybe 650m, sometimes 1150m, depending on where I drive. They have been in the service twice already, they changed the motherboard and the day after the service it is the same. Huawei never again... Paying with a watch in Huawei - just leave the watch there as a trade-in...

Unfortunately the dimension of "46x46 mm" is a lie. I bought the watch this morning and its diameter is 48 mm, not 46. The distance from the upper lugs (horns) to the lower lugs is 52 mm. So this watch should be advertised with "48x52mm" instead of "46x46". This watch is huge and that's why they lie on the dimensions. Very good smartwatch however.
I think one of the disadvantages by that active button, is being caught up with the sleeve of the shirt, blouse, jacket etc... even my current Xiaomi Watch S2 Watch, which does not have very big protruding buttons, occasionally gets caught by the sleeve whenever I'm wearing long sleeved shirts etc, and it's a bit annoying when wearing a watch where an app/function gets paused or stopped because the button gets "pushed" by the sleeve 🙈
@@bery7028 no 😀 I'm pretty pedantic about which arm I'm wearing my Watches on 😀 so putting it on the other arm just to avoid the button getting snagged, is a no no for me 😂
I don't like buttons either so I went with the garmin vivomove trend. but I have to charge it every three days and the time seems to have a mind of it's own when I need accurate time for work and the screen is not that bright. I think I'll try this one out even with the buttons.
Today i get my balance grey but i will send it back. Really dissapointed because of kind op pink/purple color changing. I didnt saw it on any video but i dont like it. Went go v3 or more fashion gt4? Such a shame about the lack of navigation options like Google maps, public transport… and the music seems to be limited to mp3 copied across rather than, for example downloading from Spotify etc. Next iteration! Meanwhile I’ll stick with my £70 Amazfit which fits give me a reliable 11 days, though seems to be diminishing after a year. Such a shame they didn’t makes the chargers compatible with those for existing Amazfit watches!

Hi, thinking about the Balance or the Xiaomi Watch 2 pro (regardless of the operating system) . The price is the same in CZ. I would like payment, I am attracted by the long endurance of Balance, but payment via Curve, otherwise I go running 2x - 3x a week, I am a hobby runner, I am interested in measuring distance and time... I am attracted by answering messages with Xiaomi, and also eSim. But I'm afraid of staying power. A long time ago I bought a Samsung galaxy Watch 4, they didn't even last a whole night and day, so I returned them within a week... Oh yeah...
@@TechMishka The main problem with Garmin is the price. The Venu 3 costs twice as much as the Amazfit Balance, but probably not 2x better... I like the Amoled display, which the older, cheaper Garmin models don't have. Vivoactive 5, it's a little cheaper, but again it doesn't have a barometer, a 1.2 inch display.. 😬
I was also a bit reluctant regarding Curve, but other than having to pay a one time fee of GBP 5 for their debit card, it's been working flawlessly in combination with my Balance. Finding Curve quite handy, actually, as a centralized card to link everything else too and then switch funding sources on the fly.
I was looking into this and was looking good until I checked out the price, in Australia its RRP is $499 - and to put that into perspective, that's only $50 less than the (bluetooth/wifi only) Pixel Watch 2, and $150 more than the very similar Amazfit GTR4. I don't feel like that pricing is reasonable - I did the maths and based on current exchange rates and taking taxes into account it should be closer to $400, so it's about a $100 markup.
Unfortunately it's not continuous heart rate. SPo2 is not very accurate. I had the older one, was not happy with the heart rate monitor and the SPo2. The Huawei GT4 is a health tracking watch. Amazfit is not

There is AOD that matches your watch face. You can also choose several default AOD appearances if you happen to not like the matching watch face.
There are many watch faces which have AOD version, which is cool.
The price in USA is already close to 220, which is great.

Unfortunately the dimension of "46x46 mm" is a lie. I bought the watch this morning and its diameter is 48 mm, not 46. The distance from the upper lugs (horns) to the lower lugs is 52 mm. So this watch should be advertised with "48x52mm" instead of "46x46".
This watch is huge and that's why they lie on the dimensions.
Very good smartwatch however.
I believe they measure it in a different way. Indeed the watch is bulky.
I think one of the disadvantages by that active button, is being caught up with the sleeve of the shirt, blouse, jacket etc... even my current Xiaomi Watch S2 Watch, which does not have very big protruding buttons, occasionally gets caught by the sleeve whenever I'm wearing long sleeved shirts etc, and it's a bit annoying when wearing a watch where an app/function gets paused or stopped because the button gets "pushed" by the sleeve 🙈

@@bery7028 no 😀 I'm pretty pedantic about which arm I'm wearing my Watches on 😀 so putting it on the other arm just to avoid the button getting snagged, is a no no for me 😂
I don't like buttons either so I went with the garmin vivomove trend. but I have to charge it every three days and the time seems to have a mind of it's own when I need accurate time for work and the screen is not that bright. I think I'll try this one out even with the buttons.

We don't have the Google maps app, but you can use an navigation map relaying commands from your phone, similar to the maps feature on Fitbit Charge 6

Today i get my balance grey but i will send it back. Really dissapointed because of kind op pink/purple color changing. I didnt saw it on any video but i dont like it. Went go v3 or more fashion gt4? I would like to have payment so amazfit was my balance choice . Maybe waiting on honor watch 4pro is better option if will be release in. Global.

Such a shame about the lack of navigation options like Google maps, public transport… and the music seems to be limited to mp3 copied across rather than, for example downloading from Spotify etc. Next iteration! Meanwhile I’ll stick with my £70 Amazfit which fits give me a reliable 11 days, though seems to be diminishing after a year. Such a shame they didn’t makes the chargers compatible with those for existing Amazfit watches!

Hi, thinking about the Balance or the Xiaomi Watch 2 pro (regardless of the operating system) . The price is the same in CZ. I would like payment, I am attracted by the long endurance of Balance, but payment via Curve, otherwise I go running 2x - 3x a week, I am a hobby runner, I am interested in measuring distance and time... I am attracted by answering messages with Xiaomi, and also eSim. But I'm afraid of staying power. A long time ago I bought a Samsung galaxy Watch 4, they didn't even last a whole night and day, so I returned them within a week... Oh yeah...
The Xiaomi watch has similar battery life to the Galaxy device.
Sounds like you are into sports, so you may check some of the Garmin models with NFC.
@@TechMishka The main problem with Garmin is the price. The Venu 3 costs twice as much as the Amazfit Balance, but probably not 2x better... I like the Amoled display, which the older, cheaper Garmin models don't have. Vivoactive 5, it's a little cheaper, but again it doesn't have a barometer, a 1.2 inch display.. 😬
I was also a bit reluctant regarding Curve, but other than having to pay a one time fee of GBP 5 for their debit card, it's been working flawlessly in combination with my Balance. Finding Curve quite handy, actually, as a centralized card to link everything else too and then switch funding sources on the fly.

I was looking into this and was looking good until I checked out the price, in Australia its RRP is $499 - and to put that into perspective, that's only $50 less than the (bluetooth/wifi only) Pixel Watch 2, and $150 more than the very similar Amazfit GTR4. I don't feel like that pricing is reasonable - I did the maths and based on current exchange rates and taking taxes into account it should be closer to $400, so it's about a $100 markup.

Unfortunately it's not continuous heart rate. SPo2 is not very accurate. I had the older one, was not happy with the heart rate monitor and the SPo2. The Huawei GT4 is a health tracking watch. Amazfit is not
You can download an app and have continuous HR tracking.
