I agree DarkWolper! They have to be some of the coolest weapons in the game. I wish there was more unique ones too, It was a great list but I think there could've been room for a few more.
Thanks Russel! I 100% that medium armor and spears didn't get alot of support. I really enjoyed mucking around and testing the spears while recording. Its awesome to see the 1000 mark! Did not expect that!
1:20 I've always thought the Dwarven Halberd looks like an old school can opener. That may just be me though. But spears are my default melee weapon. I usually go with a self enchanted chitin spear with Summon Bound Spear 29 seconds. You can make this at very low Enchant skill levels often with the first try but RNG sometimes turns that into 3-4 tries. Even a rat or scrib scroll will work as the charge will regenerate before the summon effect has worn off.
I can't unsee that now it definitely does look like an old school can opener! Spears are awesome and it's sad they no longer exist in future titles. That sounds like an awesome spear and definitely a cheap way to get a pretty powerful enchantment.
I'm looking forward to the video sequels: "Spears (Unique and Rare) - The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion" and "Spears (Unique and Rare) - The Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim". I'm sure they will be very lengthy videos. 👍
I more know of Morrowind's Lore than I do the game. Wish later games had spears and if we could give Bal back Muatra for a reward in the future could be... interesting.
Haha its like that getting deep into Morrowind lore sometimes. I wish the spears made a come back in later games aswell. Thats a interesting concept for sure!

I can see your point, I don't know why but I'm sure there's some sort of reason why. I quite enjoy spears and I see them as quite a recognizable weapon. I think they could've just need another weapon type. It is a shame they removed them from Oblivion and Skyrim .
the problem with morrowind and this list is ravirr's demon spear is very good and cheap and easy to get. and you can get away with it until you find your daedric one. the first spear from the list is pretty cool for a low level character, but there need to be a way to get it right of the boat, for example at adamassartus.
Spears are for mages. If you can't fly across the map at subsonic speed to go get Illkurok at level 1, that's some Warrior problem I'm too magic to understand.

It's a shame that Morrowind doesnt get the same attention as tes 5-10: Skyrim, so to rectify this subbing is essential.

The Demon Spear is for sure a great item to get early on. I agree there is no real easy way to get any of these earlier on either.

I vaguely remember seeing this mod ages ago when first getting into modding Morrowind. That's awesome.
The detail on the 2 longspears is great.
